Great vet practice and Dr. Hoveland is incredible! I have 5 bulldogs and recently a senior chihuahua. She goes above and beyond to care for all my fur babies. Her experience and knowledge of the bulldog breed is above any. With this many pups I can be a pest because it seems like there is always something, but she’s always willing to talk through the issue. She CARES! She recently did palate and nares surgery on my 7 year old frenchie who has had lifelong regirg issues, with amazing success and results. I have one English bulldog with end stage kidney disease and she’s been beyond helpful and supportive at each stage. She talks through the options for any issue and supports the direction I choose. I trust her completely with my dogs! She has a client for life!In addition, the office staff are great and it never takes long to get an appointment. I have seen other vets there on occasion and they too were great. Just Dr. Hoveland is the best! I highly recommend Pet Central!!

These folks always took the best care of our senior chihuahua, José. When he had an enlarged spleen last year, the doctor cleared her schedule in order to get him in for emergency surgery the very next day, which gave us another year with him we didn’t think we’d get. When he passed this winter, they even sent a card that everyone in the office had signed. This is a place that truly cares about the pets they see. If we ever find ourselves with another furry family member, we’re definitely bringing him here. Thank you for everything you did for José and the thousands of other pets in your care!

We are a licensed breeder through the state. Pet Central has ALWAYS been our go to for our care. The staff is more than welcoming to all of our needs. They have taken their entire team to deliver an emergency C section saving 7 puppies! That’s just 1 time they have stepped up to the plate!! They have always treated us with respect, including treatment options. We feel that they are not all about the money, more so about your pet’s quality of life. When we had to put our foundation dog down due to old age, the veterinarian, Calli gave Vega her left over Chipotle burrito for her last meal!

This place is amazing. It’s hard to find a great avian vet and Dr Ngo is fantastic with birds. She even operated on one of my girl birds when she was egg bound and got the egg out. Def recommend this place for your pets. When my rabbit was alive, I brought him here too. I absolutely love this place.

Worst place to take your pet for care.Their staff is rude, and very long wait times.They OD'd my cat on insulin THAT THEY PRESCRIBED and we had to sign a settlement. Instead of a tiny bit they gave her a full syringe of insulin. A human could barely survive that. We gave them a second chance and they continued to mistreat her and she is worse off then when we started. We finally stopped going and they continued to harass us with calls complaining that we were rude to their front desk staff. Clearly their priorities are MESSED UP!So when Pet Central messed up, it's your fault I guess. PLEASE STOP CALLING US! WE ARE NOT COMING BACK!

Pet Central cares about its patients and makes sure they get the care they need. From the grooming to the vet visits, and when you need somewhere to board your loved one this is the place to go. I appreciate how patient and kind the staff and physicians are with Opal and Sapphire. I'd recommend this to anyone who worries if their loved one is getting the proper treatment and care!

I recently switched to Pet Central Animal Hospital after I previously had been going to a different veterinary clinic… the last clinic I went to had poor communication and overall were not thorough at all and they missed so many issues with my cat. However, I’m so glad I decided to give Pet Central a try! Pet Central is exactly the opposite of my experience with the previous clinic I was at… everything from the receptionists to the veterinarians and assistants are exceptional… everyone is welcoming, they have positive attitudes and are super friendly! They are very thorough and take their time to address any concerns and give a thorough examination. My cat, Linus does not get anxious at all at his appointments here and I contribute that to how calm, comfortable and friendly they are towards my cat. The only suggestion I do have is that it would be awesome if y’all could start handing out an “aftercare/visit summary” paper at the end of each visit.

Zero complaints. We haven't come close to having a bad experience in the 3+ years we've been coming here, which includes them helping to treat a foster-dog and now 3 surgeries. Can't recommend them enough and we've loved all the staff we've worked with.

We just love this place. They’re so friendly there and the Doctor that cropped our Doberman ears so far it looks amazing. Thank you for being so kind all of you! The service and care my dog and I received was above and beyond compassionate. I have a tiny 3.5 lbs papillon, and she gets a little nervous. They really took their time to get her to calm down and genuinely seemed happy to help and accommodate.Every employee had the brightest and kindest attitude at every point- from making the appointment over the phone (Toni is awesome) to the vax and check-up appointment (Hilary Faas was truly phenomenal!). We will happily continue to make the commute from Burnsville to NE Minneapolis to continue care. So happy to have found a regular vet and grooming service!Would also like to comment that my grandmother chose Pet Central for many years as well as my mom! Only regret is not listening to them sooner!

Pet Central tried to kill my elderly cat by giving her 15x her insulin dose and didn’t notice or call me for 6 hours. They then tried to make me put the $2000 pet-ER bill on my credit card. After resolving with their lawyers to have them pay and signing something saying we will not sue them and that WE are responsible for all future health problems related to her overdose, we tried to go back and regain trust.We went back and had a few appointments, where the doctors advised us to up her insulin dose when it actually needed to go down. She started experiencing hypoglycemia regularly. WE are the ones who adjusted her dose to a correct one that has stopped her hypoglycemia, DESPITE paying $100s for glucose tests every few weeks and receiving bad interpretations by Pet Central Drs. They are the ones who diagnosed her with diabetes and should be on top of her care and needs but aren’t.Pet central has scheduled our appointments at the wrong times and gaslit us. They have chaotic internal communication they aren’t able to resolve. They have poor record keeping — see the attached records of the $300 test we paid for. They have continuously shown up with a lack of regard or accountability for the poor care and communication they provide.DONT TAKE YOUR PET HERE they could literally end up dead. They dont have the attention to detail or care needed to take care of an elderly animal for sure. Wish I could give negative stars. Truly tried with them but they continuously showed up chaotically and harmfully. Attached is proof of near death claim settlement + their ‘record keeping’

Affordable and great service!Easy to do grooming with standard vaccinations at the same time - great multitasking!Groomers were great! Managed my giant dogs with ease, compassion, and kindness. Even our abused rescue dog was fast friends with the groomer!By far the best Grooming and Dog health care we’ve ever experienced.We will definitely make the drive down to Pet Central for all our grooming and vet needs!!

Love this place. I take all 6 of my dogs here. I live in st.paul but I'll drive all the way to north east for there care. Almost 7+years coming here. Pricing theyll work with what you got. And I love it!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We have been bringing both our dogs to this clinic for the past six years. Every time, the entire team at Pet Central has shown they can handle anything. Yesterday was the most difficult day for our old man dog, Pablo. He was dying and from the moment we called to ask to bring him in, until he died, the staff here were so swift, kind and professional. As sad as we were to lose our dog, every single person involved helped us get through. I was very scared that our dog would be frightened - he has always been anxious at the vet - but this final visit, he was calm. For that, and for the kindness of everyone at this clinic, I am very grateful. Thank you so much for everything you've done to help care for Pablo.

This is a very late post from the care delivered date but both the front staff (Toni and Alice) as well as Dr Ngo were kind and so incredibly helpful. I had a potentially life threatening concern for our fur ball so the staff made it work for a same day appointment to get him in to be seen. Could not ask for better care or more caring staff. So kind and helpful, walk you through all your options with no pressure at all. The prices are also extremely reasonable, definitely one of the more affordable options in Minneapolis. The staff are fantastic with pets and people, and make sure your pets are very well taken care of.

My 2 mini rex bunnies were neutered at Pet Central yesterday. They trimmed both bunnies nails for free and took really good care of them. I was allowed to go in to see them after the op and they both had large clean cages with clean towels, food and water. The incision site is very clean on both bunnies, they were eating moving around again the same night. Pet Central did a great job, Jessica was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended :)

Pet Central has taken care of my cat since I moved here 10 years ago. They are compassionate and willing to educate me on any issues going on. They are affordable for check ups and do a great job with surgeries. I will bring all my pets here. Also, they gave my cat a certificate for being brave after surgery and that is cute.

This is definitely not a vet to go if your pet is having a health emergency. They are booked out 2-3 weeks and require a $50 deposit just to make an appointment. My first appointment they charged me $90 just to establish care and asked me to come back in three weeks. My pup was still getting sick three weeks later at which time my pup was finally seen by a competent vet, but still I was charged $400 just for blood work, parasite test and a $60 bag of Science diet dog food with probiotics. After all that and my pup is still getting sick. I kinda got the impression that all they want to do is sell you their overpriced food and send you on your way. They even refused to give my dog his booster shots because they don't give vaccines to sick animals because it can lower their immune systems yet based on his test results they claimed he was fine. I feel they just wanted me to come back and pay for another visit.

This place is absolutely wonderful. They all care about everyone (I’m sure it’s because they love the animals, so Who wouldn’t?!!!) and they treat everyone, human parents and their furry kids, with love and care. They try being the most affordable place and give you tons of options and never try to sell you things. They want you to come back because you can absolutely rely on them and their affordable prices. My little girl and I were just there last month or so, and I called them recently about a concern on her health. They called me 3 times to check up on how she is doing, giving me advice over the phone, and letting me know to contact them when something arises. Considering the amount of furry animals they keep up with, I’m surprised they remembered my concerns (which I addressed over email, they reply quickly!) and they did it graciously. Highly recommend 🙌🏼❤️
