Great variety of plants/cactus. Prices are moderate, you can find things easily in any price point from $8 and up. Everything looks very healthy and the displays make it easy to find what you’re looking for. The owner was super friendly and offered to pot a few small cactus for us in a cute pot for no extra charge. Highly recommend!

Fun retro industrial vibe. Lots of impressively large specimen houseplants. Not a huge selection, but everything offered was nice. We brought home several smaller houseplants which I thought were very reasonably priced.

beautiful store with lots of variety: cactus, ficus, hoyas, and more of varying sizes. there are plants as affordable as $8 to as boutique as over a grand. there's sure to be something here for you that will fit your budget :)in my experience and number of times I've frequented the store, the staff have been friendly and informative. today, perhaps I caught them on a bad day, but an employee Grace was short with me when I asked if a display bowl was for sale. their coworker (wish I had their name!) went out of their way to check in the back for one -- when Grace shortly said that they just sold out but offered no real alternative for me.I hope they have a better day because that encounter left me feeling weird; and it would be a shame to never go back.weird encounter aside, I recommend Mother Co for a warm reprieve from the cold, for finding gifts for yourself and friends, or simply to be surrounded by lush greenery.

A fun plant shop that specializes in cactus and tropical plants. They have a huge selection and are very welcoming. Even if you’re not looking for specific plant go in and check it out. The plants are beautiful and the bibs are chill.

Such an awesome, cute, modern BIG plant shop! They had so many cool varieties. A LOT of cactus’s! Very VERY expensive, but worth it if you’re looking for a little treat. Parking was a little odd, but this place was so fun!

Fun store for plant parents with a good selection of succulents, exotic plants, tall potted plants, and pots.Knocking off stars because the fig tree I bought from them brought spider mites into my house which took a month to eradicate, but thankfully didn't spread too far to other plants. I recommend misting your non-succulent plants with a weak isopropyl or neem solution occasionally to prevent these little beasties! Your store is small enough that you should be able to inspect and monitor your stock for pests, and with the prices you charge you really should do this to set yourself apart from larger plant retailers. Nobody should spend over a hundred dollars on a plant just to have it indirectly hurt your other plants.

This place is totally Unique and has a powerful frequency coming from the Beautiful plants and trees inside it's a must go to and the staff are amazing...this is just the start for me I'll most definitely be back

I was never really into cacti or succulents until I had set foot into this store (who knew you can grow trees indoors). It has an amazing vibe that lifts my spirit each time I go there. My favorite succulent there is probably their pair of Madagascar palm right at the entrance. I appreciate their staff, who is knowledgeable and can recognize my face each time I shop there. Prices are competitive with other locations and they offer a wide range of tropicals and succulents that will be a great show piece or center piece in your home.

Mother Co. is a gorgeous shop with tons of beautiful plants. The staff are helpful and they have a wide selection. Certainly, as with many other similar shops, you are paying for a more boutique experience. You may get some of these plants at a home store for less, but you don't have the same experience and knowledge to come with it. If you have some extra cash to spare, they're a great space. I have found them very helpful for plants I already have, as they will repot a plant for you if you purchase a new pot.

I love shopping at moms , the place is so welcoming and breathtakingly beautiful when you walk in. I have only been the the mpls location so far. The staff are so kind and helpful. It’s hard not to take 1 of everything. They get fresh shipments from tropical locales and sell a diverse assortment of healthy looking plants. My birds of paradise is 6’ tall and growing beautifully

Heaven for a plant lover. Has a broad range of cacti and tropical plants. Much more expensive than other stores but has the highest quality. The staff are very friendly and respectful. They offer delivery with a reasonable fee for larger plants.

I finally made it in to the shop and never wanted to leave. Fell in love with a Monstera and prepaid while I was out of town for a week. They let me keep it at the store until I came back. Went to pick it up and saw another beautiful one. Had to have it. If you like beautiful plants, this place is dangerous to your wallet. 😂

My first time going there and I absolutely loved it! I’ve been Collecting plants for a few months now, and decided to stop by at this store. It’s such a fun place to visit even if you don’t buy anything. It’s so nice to see all the different plants they have from all sorts of climates. I did end up buying a Yucca tree and a small little plant. The ladies working there we very helpful and friendly. I will sure go visit again soon.

I purchased three beautiful cacti a month ago. The staff is amazingly helpful. Would definitely go here before visiting Bachman's.Terrific place.I wonder if you'd ever consider seeing up a place for folks to sit and relax with a cup of coffee, looking at all these beautiful plants?

This place is stunning with amazing plants, huge cactuses and the pots are so pretty!I am not too impressed with the pests I’ve had to deal with though…. With the price I paid I feel like they should take more measure to prevent this. I bought a Ficus Tineke and it had multiple bugs crawling out of it and developed scale within a week.My friend and sister in law both bought from here and dealt with spider mites and some sort of fungal issue. So…. Beautiful place, beautiful plants, pots, and accessories. But the price isn’t worth it! Maybe if they start taking more preventative action towards pests it would be.

20 years of roaming the desert of the west (CO) had me missing cacti and succulents more than i imagined when I decided to journey back to the arctic.This is the more than a plant shop and you feel the warmth walking in the door.I love that they are all so incredibly welcoming within the walls and outside has designated handicapped parking with a chair lift up the dock and a second designated Mother Co Plants customer parking.More than just plants of the SW region —they have they most beautiful selection of greens in Mpls.The pottery is simply perfection.A great place to smile and warm your soul for any amount of time- take a seat and hang with a plant, book, pal, worker. They will teach you how to pot your plants at their potting station.I love it here!They have in store hand printed puff print sweatshirts and Other unique gifts for any friend you have in your world whom adores simple perfection in objects of use.Also a St.Paul location…. But i love the history i hold within the Northwinds Lofts that i seem to be drawn to the MPLS location.

Whether you are new to plant care or you’re a master gardener, you will be blown away by this place! I’ve been collecting and caring for plants for many years and yet every time I step foot in this store I see something new and unique! The staff is always incredibly nice and helpful and if you have any questions on plants or plant care they have a very helpful and responsive email where you can get in contact with an expert! I highly recommend popping in the shop especially if you’re just browsing!

Ok yall, I spent way too long in here before finding a plant I wanted to take home because I wanted to take a lot of these plants with me. Lol! They can also report the plat for you which is way better than buying a plant at ikea or any other store.
