Refused to give me cash on a return within the 30 days with receipt. Instead I got a store gift card. Not the 1st time either; against policy. Claim they had no cash in store...well how are they making change? Was only $14.28, but I took card to Unbank and only got $5.75!!! I won't let them force me to spend it in store.

Alec is always great! upbeat and very professional every time I go to the store he greats every customer. The manager is a rude lady, always angry.

I didn't know it took three family dollars employees to check out. I waited in line for 15 mins while three employees checked out one customer at a time with a line of at least 15 people waiting, the 1st employee checked your iteams, 2nd bagged it, and 3rd observed it both of them. There were 4 employees present during my visit that I could see. The employees overall were friendly/respectful and laughing but primarily among themselves.

At around 8:45 a.m. this morning I was vehemently called rude and stupid in front of my 4-year-old for using the cash back option.While the lean dark skinned woman politely rang us up. The manager, A larger woman around 40 with a natural tanned skin complexion, had the audacity to angrily call me rude for asking for money back and then say I'm stupid for not knowing they don't give money back before noon and for not seeing a sign on the front door stating they don't give do cash back before noon.....I've never been to that store before ergo would not know any store policies.Despite her claim, I confirmed on the way out there was no sign saying no cash back.There was definitely no sign saying no cash back on the register.There was a sign saying they do accept cash back if you pay a small fee. And because of that sign I requested cash back .Even if there was a sign that I missed, she could have politely said something. In lieu of that, she called me rude and stupid. Prior to that my wife my 4-year-old and I were having a good time. Now I'm trying to shake off the energy of being called rude and stupid for just wanting cash back because it said I could get cash back.My family and I will not be returning to that store. Prior to that it was a very positive experience and we would have returned.

I went to buy some minutes for my phone. And stuff wasn’t working out I felt like I was being over charged. This young lady named Sierra helped me out and I was able to figure it out. I really appreciate Sierra she had a great attitude and she went above and beyond. I will be back to visit this store.

This might be where the next pandemic starts. Employees coughing everywhere. Just gross shopping experience. Shoppers don’t seem to matter to cashiers.If you want to feel good about your life, visit this store.

It's a great convenience store. I give it 5-stars for convenience.However, most stuff in there is not the healthiest food, but neither is a gas stations food.It has a lot of stuff, mostly not the top quality kind of stuff. Yet, there is quality stuff there as well.So if you want stuff, need more containers for your stuff, or need cheap stuff or a few quality stuff, check out this stuff store sometime.

Regularly close with 15 minutes before their posted closing time. Pretty rude staff overall, especially on a Tuesday or Wednesday night as of recent times. Black clerk turns away a black man from entering the store 13 minutes before closing, but lets a white family go on and get a couple things even though they came in AFTER me? Well, crabs always gonna be in the bucket...Anyway, whoever owns this store does not care at all; consistently unreliable employees, makes the community look terrible with the outside constantly looking like a dump, and regularly allow loitering in and near the store parking lot. The day this place gets shut down will be glorious for the Bancroft neighborhood in Minneapolis, even it is replaced with barren, untenable land.

It’s 9:00am. The internet says the store is open, yet the door is locked & no one is answering the phone (further proof they’re closed). If you’re not going to be open the hours that are posted, then just update the store information.

I will only give this store 3 stars, because at 1st the guys was nice, but once he started ringing me up he seemed to not have any type of customer service experience, I was being very polite to him, but he seemed to not talk back or say anything at all. If you are in a good mood when you go here I am just warning you, that they are not nice, him and the lady both seem to hate their job. This is why Family Dollar, and other stores need to give these people more money, so that they will enjoy being at work, and treating your customers right.

I normally wouldn’t care too much about a family dollar or similar establishment but i’ve been going to this one for years and have always had a good experience. The staff are helpful and friendly and they’ve really improved their selection in recent years. I have zero complaints, they’re doing a good job.

If it wasn't for the cordial/semi helpful Latina cashier, this place would be a 1 star!! It was absolutely atrocious. Product everywhere - floor, shoved in corners, random boxes; opened packaging in every aisle with their contents strewn about; nothing was re-stocked; unpacked boxes all over the place; dirty af and the exit door's glass was replaced with plywood. Now, I grew up in the ghetto and I've seen some ghetto stores, but this FD takes the cake and the mf trophy!! 🏆🎂

The employees were pretty friendly, but I think the store was even messier than my neighborhood one had been. (The one that burned down.) I did like some of the things that they didn't use to carry.

This place is unorganized, and always MESSY! They have items priced and marked WRONG and they won't honor the price marked. Not one item but several. if the price is marked wrong the customer is usually granted the lower price as a courtesy for their mistake. The manager would not apologize for their mistake, or honor the marked price. It's probably the reason they have different staff every week. Won't get another dime from me!

Soup to nuts Family Dollar will likely have both the name brand and the Family Dollar's brand at hard to beat prices. I'm always finding things for quick home repairs to t-shirts, at prices like these you can't go wrong.

Nice store, but google says they're open until 10; the sign in the window says they're open until 10; show up at 9:45 (even for a 2 liter in-and-out) and the doors are locked and they send you away saying they're closed.

Door was locked at 2:15 - 2:30 on 9/27/21 with a friend store was locked everything on and running inside. We watched 11 people try and get in and lost LOT of business.

Really couldn't find anything in the store because the store was just destroyed items everywhere boxes everywhere the manager that working there for lake Street store always dirty he need to get it together he's not friendly at all he just messy in the store
