A few years have passed since I purchased my companion's backpack from this store, and I'm thrilled to report that it's still as good as new. Whenever I'm in the vicinity, I make sure to swing by the store to stock up on all the pup essentials.The memories of my first visit are still crystal clear in my mind. The owner went above and beyond to assist me, demonstrating how to effortlessly slip my dog into the backpack and even how to put on those doggie goggles.Copilot Dog Outfitters boasts an impressive collection of renowned and dependable brands, as well as some hidden gems that caught my eye. Believe me when I say, I wholeheartedly recommend their services to any loving pet owner out there!

I stopped in on Small Business Saturday and WOW was I impressed with the assortment of toys, treats, coats, life jackets, leashes, dog-training toys, puzzle toys, lick-mats, holiday-themed toys, etc! These were quality items from good brands and reasonable pricing. The shop is cute and the owner is helpful! I buy a lot of treat-holding puzzle toys for my dog, and Co-Pilot had such a large selection of them, many I had looked at online but didn't want to buy without seeing in person, or was overwhelmed trying to find the actual brand and not some amazon fake brand knock-off where you don't know if the materials are safe for dogs. I bought a teether ball puzzle that my dog is currently loving. I live out of state and am sad I can't frequent more regularly. Highly recommend to all dog-owners!

One of my all-time favorite dog gear and pet supply stores! While I no longer live in Minneapolis, I regularly shop here on return trips to the area. Staff are incredibly helpful and my dog, Bear, loves his blue outdoor coat from CoPilot. Will be a lifelong shopper and supporter.

The owner and her employee are both knowledgeable, personable and fantastic. After asking my husband and myself a few questions they were able to recommend some excellent training treats and advise the type of harness our boxer mix Rizzo would need. Additionally, they were able to give some amazing tips on how to acclimate our rescued lab/basset mix Rufus.

Took my puppy in to look at winter stuff and was immediately helped to measure her paws and she got to try on the brand boots I had seen online but didn't want to buy without seeing. She got to wander around the store to get used to them and make sure they fit. Super helpful. Highly, highly recommend. Really great quality items and such helpful people. It would have taken me a lot longer to do all that on my own and love that we were able to try things on before buying.

I wish i wouldn’t have wasted my time driving so far to find this place only to be spoken to disrespectfully. The lady spoke to me and my dog in a very cruel tone of voice and grimace. We left the store immediately after being treated so disrespectfully.

We called ahead to check out if they had Ruffwear harnesses in stock. Paige was very helpful on the phone. Because Paige was so helpful, we decided to make the trip in, in today’s rainy MN sleet. Paige was even more helpful in person. She did the sizing for us in person and that’s why Paige is awesome, because the size I called about was actually too small when Paige fitted our pup for her harness. We bought some other items as well. The only bummer was that I couldn’t order some Ruffwear items directly through the store that weren’t currently in stock. Bottom line: Paige is awesome and we’ll be back to buy the rest of our harnesses and other stuff (as long as it’s in stock) bc our Bernese will grow through three or four of them I’m sure. We forget to take pics at the store of Paige fitting the harness, so you’ll have to settle for two of Lola under our coffee table. Thanks, Paige! We will be back for sure!

This place is one of my favorite stores in all of Minneapolis. I first got introduced to the place via getting my standard poodle groomed. The groomer here is top notch! She is extremely knowledgeable about breed specific cuts, breed health, and offers pro tips about your dog. Plus the price wasn't bad.The store has an excellent selection of products. They have a great variety of winter coats, booties, treats, and toys all well priced. The owner even helps you fit your dog with the properly sized apparel.The excellent owner, top notch groomer, good prices, and cute store make for a very worthwhile trip to check it out.PS my dog loves this place :)

Have been to Copilot on one occasion. The saleswoman was extremely helpful and helped me find exactly the right toy for my dog. She was kind, respectful, and made me feel valued as a customer. My dog loved the toy too, so that's a plus!

The store is well stocked, and the staff is very knowledgeable. After grooming our puggle ourselves for 10 years, we decided it was time to let a professional take over. We went to a few other places prior to landing an appointment at Copilot, and we will never go anywhere else. Our dog is so soft, shedding is significantly reduced, and his coat is shinier than ever. I highly recommend Copilot.

Amazing service!I called with a somewhat unreasonable request to put together a bag of gifts for a neighbor's dog, and Copilot couldn't have been more accommodating. With only a few details to go off of, they were able to put together a lovely combination of items and even came in under my budget. They even delivered it to my neighbor that evening! It's rare to find businesses that go so far above and beyond, and it gives me joy to support places like Copilot.

The selection of higher end, "outdoorsy" brands of dog gear that they carry at Copilot is AWESOME. Prices are just about identical to the prices of the same products from the brand websites, so it's an absolute no-brainer to shop here and keep our money local. Along with these higher end brands, they also carry a bunch of smaller, local brands which make this shop even cooler in my books. Can't wait to continue to support Copilot Dog Outfitters in the future!

This is a really nice store. They have a huge selection of Ruffwear products which is why we decided to go there. Staff is friendly and attentive. Be aware you have to park on the street as there is no parking lot. Also, they had a store dog! A Frenchy who was quietly laying in a bed in the window. So cute.

Such an awesome shop! @MrFerdinandTheBulldog visited for his birthday. We were greeted by a friendly Frenchie and went home with a birthday treat bag from the friendly owner. There are also lots of cute things that I haven’t been able to find at other pet stores! Definitely one of our favorite store!

I went once in search of a toy for my dog. She is very picky and leaves most of her toys untouched. After receiving help from the very kind employee, I found a durable fish squeaky toy. It became the only toy that she actually plays with. Thank you so much for your help!

I just want to make it very aware that masks don’t not cover up your entire facial expressions and the tone of your voice when helping customers. There was blatant disrespect and judgement toward us not knowing the exact dog foot measurement. I would much rather spend more money somewhere else due to her attitude and disregard.

My puppy was on the edge of her Ruffwear harness and when I asked the staff at Chuck and Don's if it was time for a size upgrade, they said they were all out BUT go to Copilot. They weren't open yet (COVID), however I called and she gave me so many options over the phone and told me to swing by to pick it up. I stuck with Ruffwear, but will return when the pup is old enough to go hiking! Thanks!!
