We've been searching for a vet that our 3 cats and 1 dog could go to for long term care preventative care. Our previous vet wasn't as compassionate or professional as they once were. The dynamics changed over there since COVID, and we needed to find a new place.We found Blue Cross Animal Hospital from a simple Google search and even from just the first initial call to set things up, everyone was super nice and friendly and willing to help us. The staff are so quick to respond to emails too! We love all the staff here and they are so sweet and compassionate.Dr. Jarvi and Dr. Mack are some of the best and most compassionate doctors we've ever seen. They are very gentle with our pets. We haven't had the chance to work with the other doctors yet, but we are certain they are of the same caliber.On countless occasions, we've had urgent problems with our cats that we needed to address and BCAH has been there to assist every time. Even if they were super busy, they found a way to get us in for a walk-in just so our cat was taken care of. That's truly amazing.I could say so much more about how well BCAH has treated us and our pets, but I will avoid turning this into a book.Thank you so, so much for all you folks do to service our animals! We are loyal customers now because you are loyal to our pets and their wellbeing!

The people here were so nice and respectful to me. They used they/them pronouns to refer to me and I didn't ask them to do so, they were just being respectful as I look semi androgynous. This made me feel really comfortable and welcome. I felt very listened to and they answered all questions I had thoroughly. The vet was really helpful and had a lot of great information for me and was really nice. I liked everyone I interacted with here and I really feel like they love and care about animals as much as I do. Definitely recommend.

Brought my 4 year old rescue pitbull this morning after two biting incidents. I’ve only had him for 6 months and his aggression is new as of about 2 months ago. Got lots of great information on further steps and I learned lots of ways to handle his aggression. After talking with them, I have changed my mind on putting him to sleep and we are going to attempt training and some medications to see if we can regulate his anxiety. The staff were very calm in dealing with him as he hates new people, small spaces, and anything in between. The ladies showed me how to be confident when he is stubborn and to ignore his attempts to be scary. They did not critique me and our handlings at all and we felt very safe going there and will definitely be going back for his bloodwork exam. They cleared a path for him walking in and out of the building as well.

Wonderful place to bring your pet! I was very concerned and the staff were super friendly, accommodating and helpful. Seriously, between the two days I was there recently I must have interacted with 5-6 employees and everyone was so nice. The vet explained things to me in a way I understood and told me the “why” which helps me greatly. You can tell these people really care. They were also very transparent about cost and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend!

Great experience at our annual wellness visit for our cat,Clyde at Blue Cross Animal Hospital. All of the staff are friendly,caring, and knowledgeable. Dr. Sarah Bourn was very thorough in her exam. I appreciated receiving a call from her the next day with Clyde’s test results. Clyde was happy too and gave the Dr a little head bump!😊

My petkids & i love the spirit and skilled services provided by this clinic! As a longtime customer, I'm as satisfied with the newer staff members as i was with the former ones . . . some, even more so. The vet techs and vets have HUGE hearts for the dogs & cats they tend to and are patient and caring with us human clients, too.If the services of a specialist not on-staff are required for care, arrangements can be made with some of the area's finest DVMs.After taking my previous dog elsewhere for urgent treatment during the pandemic, I was happy to return to BCAH for the consistent, loving care we've come to expect and appreciate. We have had tremendous luck and care with our new puppy at this clinic. She seems to be accident prone and we have been able to get appointments within hours of calling. When we aren't dealing with injuries, her check ups have been thorough and done by a staff and doctors who really love dogs!

The shock and pain of seeing my beloved cat suddenly in such a critical state was utterly overwhelming. The Hospital staff was so kind and gentle and patient in supporting me as I made the brutally painful decision to let my cat go in peace and without pain. The friend who was with me and I have talked about how the vet could not have handled my experience any better. I will always be thankful to her.

My experience was wonderful. If you’re looking for a clinic then I’d highly recommend this one. They got us checked in within a minute of arrival and our appointment lasted maybe 30 minutes. The staff are friendly and efficient, I can tell they really care about their clients. I’m very pleased with the experience we had and will be coming back.

I've been taking my animals to Blue Cross for over 10 years and would highly recommend them! Dr. Michelle Todd is so kind and compassionate, I always go to her. The front desk staff clearly loves animals and is always attentive and friendly when we come in. My only complaint is that they're pricey but I haven't price shopped to compare prices since the people are so good but I know I don't bring my dog in as often as I should due to the cost.

Once we made the appointment, there was no waiting.Our Jake was having anxiety while in his carrier, so it was very quick.The staff was wonderful,from Reception to the Dr. The Dr made it very comfortable for us and our Cat.The pricing was very reasonable as well.I would recommend this place to whoever is looking for a friendly environment

Short story: great for yearly checkups, were able to get us in during Covid when nobody was taking new clients, but they abandoned us when our rescue dog had cancer. Sadly, we’re going to lose our dog tomorrow in part to this failure to treat and diagnose in a timely manner.Long story. Our first couple vet visits were positive and we were happy with the interaction and service for these general care visits.Unfortunately, when we noticed a lump on our dog in the past year, our quality of care decreased. We repeatedly brought our dog in to address the lump on her side, along with limping of her front leg we suspected was related to the lump. On three different occasions, we were prescribed pain medication and sent on our way. The lump continued to grow.We then said we wanted the lump surgically removed since we strongly suspected it was the cause of our dog’s pain, though the vet still believe they were separate issues. When we tried to get a surgery consult for the lump set up, we were initially told we could pay a higher fee to have in person rather than leaving our dog for the day at the vet.Our dog is a rescue and has a lot of anxiety about abandonment, especially at the vet, to the point of making her physically ill.We were then told in person was no longer an option. We tried to see if there was something that could be done about her anxiety issue (ie, medication) to make an all day drop off easier for her and for the vet staff. At that point, we were then told it would be best for us to find another provider.We ended up going to an Urgent Care style vet who immediately addressed the lump and gave us the cancer diagnosis. By the time we were at the Urgent Care vet, the lump was 3lbs on a 55lb dog. When we had first brought her to Blue Cross, it was less than a penny in diameter. We had surgery with Urgent Care vet in October to remove the tumor, but it was too late to be able to remove it cleanly.This morning, I paid for euthanasia and cremation services for my dog because the tumor is back and she can no longer breathe without pain. It’s an awful and sad end to this story, one that I hope other people can be spared.

We have been taking our Golden to Blue Cross for three years now and absolutely love them. The doctors are so kind and caring, don’t push unnecessary meds/tests, provide all options but are also conscious of your budget, and are great at educating you as a pet owner.

I have an XL Breed Dog who can be a handful. Dr Kathleen is wonderful with her and also makes me feel heard and understood. She outlines the pros and cons of each decision and so I feel confident in my choices.

I’ve been really happy coming here, they were the closest place to me accepting new patients during the pandemic, and have been so consistently caring and cooperative. Not pushy with additional services/vaccines, just try to give you the best info they can and let you make the decision. Brought my new puppy here for her first visit recently and we did a round of “pass the puppy”, which I honestly think helped her overcome some anxiety issues, it was great! Prices have seemed really reasonable, but I don’t have much experience with other places to compare

I took my new kitten to Blue Cross when we got him in January of this year and the support staff and the Vets are wonderful! They always remember my cat and treat him, and I, like old friends who have stopped by to visit. The Vet's are incredibly patient, answering all of my questions, and help to educate me on how to keep my little guy healthy and happy. When it was time for my kitten to be neutered the Vet walked through the procedure and the aftercare that would be needed, with me beforehand. The team took wonderful care of my kitten and called a couple of times to check-in with us in the days following.I have found the pricing for services to be onpar with other vets in the area as I did check out several before coming to Blue Cross. I liked their hours, especially Saturday's as this works beautifully for my schedule.It's a good hospital with knowledgeable staff that care. If you are looking for a new vet practice, I think you should give them a chance.

I have been taking my dogs here for years. The staff is so friendly and I can tell they genuinely love dogs. They have been very helpful with suggestions to give my senior dog, 15 years, the best quality of life. I just took my 4 month old puppy there and they were very gentle with her. I think the price of their services are very economical and I know my “kids” are getting great care.

I love vetting at Blue Cross Animal Hospital. I've had great experiences with all of the staff. They are kind, respectful and welcoming. The doctors are knowledgable and always explain what's going on with my pet in great detail. When I've had to take my cat in for emergency vetting, they were responsive and informative every step of the way. I've recommended Blue Cross Animal Hospital to a close friend who now takes her dog here and she loves it too!
