Went to Koch's in an emergency situation. As a realtor, I was selling a house and the appraiser came back and said we need to scrape the peeling paint off the exterior of the garage and repaint. Ugh! Now what? The sellers had already moved out over an hour away. Not going to stick them with this problem. So I put on my "painting hat", went to Koch's and told the gal behind the paint counter (Trish?) my situation. She matched the paint chip I saved PERFECTLY! I scraped and painted the exterior stucco. WALA! Turned out great!We are scheduled to close on the home Monday. Thank you for making this "out of town realtor feel welcome". Great place, awesome staff, good selection. I've never seen this place short staffed. They're super friendly and since I'm local, I'm in there all the time. If you're in there enough, the staff remember your name. Owners are good people too. Even my wife loves going there for the home goods and garden stuff. Not many places you can walk in and grab a bag of charcoal and BBQ sauce, chainsaw, welding gas, a bike, glass for your sand blast cabinet, a screen repaired, a cooking pan set, flowers, a giant rice crispy bar and a kayak all in one spot. They even carry stainless and chrome plated bolts/screws and Allen head bolts for those tight spot holes in an aftermarket intake manifold. Support your community by shopping local!

Drove 45 minutes to purchase a pull behind spreader. Took it home, it didn't work, took it back the next day, the male manger was extremely rude, actually asked me if I got the job done. Obviously inferring that I bought it just to use it. Sure, I want to drive an hour and a half, round trip just to "borrow" the spreader. He didn't listen or care what the problem with the product was. I've spent a lot of money in that place to be treated like that. Everyone else there are fantastic.

Everytime I walk into this store I'm shocked by prices that are marked up over 30% from Hardware Hank's website & other local hardware stores. Today I figure'd I'd check if they'd match the price on the Hardware Hank website. They would not, even though they carry the name. $21.99 for a 16' fatmax tape measure on the website, $29.99 in store. They offered to mark it down to $24.99, but I was headed to princeton anyway & picked up the same tape measure from Marv's TrueValue for $22.99. I'm all for supporting local business & economy and I'd much rather pay a little extra than send that money somewhere else. I just don't understand why it's marked up so much more than anywhere else. Is there something I'm missing here?

“KROOKS!!” -say people that aren’t interested in excellence in the community.I absolutely love this place, I have had wonderful customer experiences every. single. Time. I’ve visited! Thank you for going the extra mile, being kind every time and as always the most helpful hardware store I have ever been in. Big chain stores employees have been known to literally hide when customers are looking for help, NOT HERE!

Sure like this store. Surprisingly good selection for a small town store. Great selection without a half-hour walk from one end of the store to the other. Friendly staff and always several experienced employees around. Lastly, they're common sense people. Everyone can feel comfortable and welcome shopping here.
