We just got a puppy 5 days ago and the team at PetSmart were so very helpful in choosing a puppy food, crate, training treats and toys. Great prices as well. PetSmart will be our go to for all things dog from now on. Here are a couple of photos of our good boy Cooper!

I take one of my dogs to get groomed by Mo H. and he looks amazing every time. Highly recommend! Mo is professional, caring, and clearly enjoys being around my sweet boy.

Please invest in your point of sale system. This was the second visit the system crashed on my transaction here. They must freeze up so frequently because I don't stop here often. Your cashiers deserve the upgrade. They are great, kind people.Upgrade the system to be more reliable and easier on your cashiers. They work hard. Make it easier for employees to maintain. They certainly shouldn't have to remove the side of the conveyor to maintain as a cashier. Rats nest of wires under there. It looks like a safety hazard by whoever installed them 30 years ago.Items had to be scanned a second time because the ancient point of sale system couldn't transfer the transaction. Hopefully it's updated soon, we'll see. The cashier was kind enough that I finished checking out after the computer issue. Hopefully the computer gets fixed for us all... If it's the same system next time or the same people are no longer here, there's no point for me to check out again.

They have recently increased their care for their animals mostly, however when I was there last October. The animals were extremely unhealthy and very sick. Fish were dead or dying and extremely dirty tanks. I saw an extremely malnourished and sick bearded dragon that had a bad spine and most likely MBD bone disease. And sick turtles, among other animals. They always have dead feeder fish and also from my experience in the past the employees don’t seem care about the animals and don’t properly educate themselves and give incorrect information. Only some know what they are doing. Only good for food animals only. I’d recommend the Plymouth location or Pet co. As those people actually seem to actually care about the animals. I don’t recommend this place unless your pets need grooming or need food for your Beardies/fish or other reptiles. Do not buy live animals from them however as a lot are not healthy most of the time(rarely though) and will live a way shorter lifespan than expected.

I have been coming to Pet Smart for Years.They have Everything I need and more for my pet and or Pets.The staff is always reliable and Helpful with any questions I may have for my Furbaby.I have 1 stop shopping at it's finest for my dog.I use Banfield pet hospital which is right there and a Salon for all her Beauty needs.Also if you need a place for Fido to go for the weekend, They also have the Pet Hotel.

Didn’t greet me when I first walked in, and while walking around looking for my specific product I wasn’t asked if I needed help while multiple employees stared at me. And when I was leaving I wasn’t greeted good bye. Didn’t feel very welcomed.

Dog went into the grooming salon dirty and shedding badly. She came out happy, clean, and all the loose fur removed. Highly recommend the grooming salon here.

I came in today to have my 3 dogs bathed nails ears done. The lady who did my dogs was simply amazing. She was so good with them. I brought one in at a time. Every time I picked one up she was sitting with them making the comfortable. She went over and above. My dogs smell great , super soft and nails are perfect. My little girl even had her nails painted. I will definitely be back and hope to have the same lady every time. They definitely have a new client. Thank you so much for the great service.

Rob at the Maple Grove Petsmart has been amazing with our high energy rescue pup, Fiona. He is a very gifted trainer as well as an incredibly kind human. Fiona has made huge gains as a result of his gentle manner and patience. He has exceeded our expectations and we are forever grateful. I would recommend Rob to anyone looking for a dog trainer who is skilled, knowledgeable and clearly loves his chosen profession.

Sorry I only took one picture this time, but I come here often for my cat food (science diet indoor adult cat food ages 1-5),and royal Canin regular cat food dry. And then I price match to, if the rules on petsmart online say I can! I also visit the y kitties from the rescue and look so all of the clearance. This was a clearance picture!

If I had to choose my favorite pet store in the West Metro, I would say this store is my favorite because it has the typical pet store things, but in addition to that, they have a pet hotel, grooming, and a clinic. Oftentimes, they have special promotions and dog adoptions. I enjoy perusing the aisles alone or with my 4-legged friends. Make sure to call ahead for an appointment and expect to be treated like a VIP.

I was a little saddened to read a review by a fellow pet parent who used to bring their dog to PetSmart's Doggie Day Camp saying that they care more about money than the pups. This couldn't be further from the truth!!!My husband & I have been bringing our girl to Maple Grove's camp for over 7 years. Prior to that she was going to Eden Prairie's camp for nearly 5 years.In all of that time, we have never had one issue with how she has been treated. They are FANTASTIC with her! Every time she goes to camp she is so excited to see her people. If the employees weren't so wonderful, there is no way I would trust them with my baby girl.If she gets sick at camp, we get a call. Got bit once in Eden Prairie, we got a call (and they took care of the expense, not the pet parent (incidentally, if you get kicked out of camp, you have to undergo training to be let back in). Since she was attending Maple Grove's at the time as well, they called to check up on her. They really care of their regulars.Seriously, I can't say enough wonderful about all the hotel staff!If anyone out there doubts that these people love our animals, you need to see how they react when one passes away. I've hugged more than one who as cried at missing a regular. They also get bummed out when one moves away. They wouldn't be working so closely with dogs if they didn't love them.Now I'm sure there are customers who don't share my opinion and have had a different experience there, but from my perspective they are awesome!And I can't imagine taking my most precious critter anywhere else!Attaching a picture from the most recent party. Just moved up and wanted to continue grooming for my dogs at Petsmart. I needed an express appointment and was told to always call the store to make them or they won't show as express. I called and the employee was rude and sounded annoyed from the beginning of the call. I made sure to confirm that this is an express appointment and my dog cant handle the long ones. When I got the confirmation, she didn't even book it as an express appointment! I was too nervous to call back. I want to trust that my very anxious dog isn't treated the way I was...

I inquired about care for a few different pet types and a lady answered me professionally and in a courteous manner. I encourage all prospective "first pet" purchasers to ask a lot of questions. I may have stumbled into an unpleasant pet outcome had I not sought the advice of that helpful employee. No fault of Petsmart or it's employees but I was the unfortunate customer who walked through a dog's "present" while wandering through the aisles. I suppose the owner wasn't aware of it but I have some doubts about that. An employee promptly cleaned it up. So with tongue in cheek I'll advise - "watch your step" when shopping here - lol

Great selection of products and it's closest to our house, but one cashier has ruined this store for us and now we'll drive farther to get more friendly service.She is very rude and unhelpful. When we go to her register to pick up orders we have made online, she acts like we have inconvenienced her and she has NEVER said thank you. Not once.Your cashiers make your first impressions, PetSmart. Do better.
