Richard was knowledgeable and professional throughout. If you’re looking for a reptile rep, ask for Richard! We left confidently after our visit and took home our little reptile. Very nice gentleman helped me at checkout. My.phine wouldn't update my Petco app., so I couldn't upload my coupons and rewards. He called someone and had it figured out for me so I can use all my discounts right away for that.purchasem. He also gave me.a phone # to call next time I would need to upload my rewards, since my phone can't do it on the app.

Truly awful and traumatizing expirience. This was the first time she had ever been groomed at Petco. I asked her hair to be cut short and she was completely shaved down to the skin like a cat. She is a Pomeranian and she should never be cut like this. The grooming manager, Jessyca completely committed a crime. Some of her whiskers are even shaved. It is not a breed approved cut. Pomeranians fir should never be cut this short and could be damaged. No one should ever have to go through this. Don't take your dog here. On top of all of this, she tried to charge me for a medium dog when she only weighs 10 "because of all the fur", which simply isn't how the pricing works Before and after photos. Could not have been any worse.

The karen manager Tom they have that was on a register is a complete douche. I was flipping a fidget toy in an aisle with NOBODY in/around me, and he left his register when he heard it and yelled yelled at me (a 36 year old male)like he was scolding a child. Didn't ask me about it or any questions, just yelled. Very unprofessional and i will not be returning again.

Richard helped answer all our fish questions, and set us up with right supplies for us to succeed at keeping our betta fish alive. He seemed knowledgeable, personable and didn't try to over sell us.

It is clear that the staff here really like to work there. They love animals and are knowledgable about the products they sell. It is very well maintained and does not have that "pet store smell" that many others do. Highly recommend - 5-stars!

I absolutely love the grooming salon here, I've been a few times now and it's always been a great experience. I love seeing that the staff remember my dog and always seem happy to see him, and he gets excited to go back with them even though he usually gets anxious about going other places. I'd never bring him anywhere else if I can help it!

Went in to look at fish. Plenty of them on display to choose from. Some very small tanks for sale advertised for Bettas. It's pretty sad but can't fault the store for a corporate issue. I do hope that the salespeople recommend the correct gallons for the fish so that they live good happy lives.

Honestly I don't know how to call this situation but my friend's heart break down when she noticed that instead of grooming and doing a haircut to her pet what they do it's unacceptable. because literally they shave off its pets hair as you can see in this images and what was even worse is that anybody really cares or could help her or give her an answer about what happens.she stated: when I saw what they were doing to my dog's hair I run and grab my pet and ask them if they know what their doing because wasn't what I ask to do and I do not have a answer and have them stop what their doing. They have the worst customer service and no words about the employees that doesn't care about our pets. Honestly I don't recommend PETCO IN MAPLE GROVE MN. If anybody knows if I can do something please let me know because this wasn't acceptable

My wife and I stopped in, looking for some fun and safe pink hair coloring for Maggie, our Bulldog. We were headed to a Valentines Bulldog Meet-up.😊Petco has everything right, we asked employees and they were not sure, they said check with the groomers. We spoke with Beth and Katlyn, Beth at first had no idea, Katlyn said she didn't think they carried it in-store but online for sure. If you need it in a hurry, you could try Chuck & Don's. Great idea. I told her, then she said she used to work at Target and they had a Super cool safe color chalk, I was super interested but out comes Beth very abruptly and loud. Katlyn, be quiet, Beth says she would try Sally's for a Pink Hair dye. ☹️ If Katlyn reads this, I just wanted to say Thank you so much, we found the perfect thing at Target. Maggie had so much fun at her Meet-up. Your the best, I am so glad you spoke up and were not quiet, I encourage you to continue that. Great job.

Our 12-pound bichon poodle has been getting his hair cut at this Petco for a while now with no mention of any issues. We just tried to make an appointment to get his haircut again, and we found out that the groomer that had been doing his haircuts no longer works there.. which is fine. But then we're also told that our dog has shown his teeth during cuts and that it makes the groomers feel unsafe. This is certifiably insane as 1. They never mentioned this to us upon picking him up after previous cuts--we've literally been told he does great and 2. I have never seen my dog show his teeth. Like--they have our dog confused with another dog. What's worse is it took us forever to get someone here to call us back about our appointment requests.. like they were just going to ignore our calls. Exceptional display of professionalism...

Chris is absolutely amazing! Every time we come in he has some sort of help or advice to provide based on our concerns. We came in today with a broken cat drinking fountain thatwe bought well over a month ago and he FIXED it. This guy needs a raise!!! Excellent customer service :) Thanks Chris

Don’t bring your dog to be groomed here. They will try to up-charge you for the “VIP” treatment which means the groomer is with your dog the entire time and won’t kennel them. I asked to have this removed because I didn’t want the extra charge. They told me my dog gets too anxious in the kennel and barks and they wouldn’t bathe him if they had to kennel him. I literally pick him up immediately as I’m right outside waiting. Don’t work with dogs if you can’t handle the barking. No need to be charged extra for a service that isn’t needed and then refused services for not wanting a “VIP” treatment. They rush through the grooming. My dog was done in 20 min. $75 for 20 min. No thanks. I’ll bring my dog elsewhere from now on.

Target has better prices, and they make buying prescription cat food a huge hassle. They could store our prescriptions in their register computer so we don't have to keep track of a little card that may still be with the last person who shopped for pet food. Very inconvenient!

Beth did an excellent job with my shih tzu puppy. It was her first haircut and Beth did everything I asked her to do. My little girl went home happy. I’ll definitely be back.

The staff was super helpful. In needed to find more interactive toys for my family's new dog and felt totally clueless (I'm more of a cat person), so I asked a staff member for help and she got the dog trainer to come over and help me. She was super helpful and my dog loves the toys that she suggested (he wasn't a fan of the ones that I'd previously bought).

What a fun place! Exceptional customer service! Very friendly and helpful , smiles on all employees faces! We has 3 team members helping us put a harness on our puppy! The store is clean and the knowledge and helpfulness of employees was amazing! Such a fun shopping experience! What an amazing team they have employed!
