My puppy was having some problems being too rough and crazy with dogs that don't want to play with him. After a month at Bob's he was at least twice as well behaved. They also gave me a ton of training tips. It is so worth the drive to take your pup here.

Great place to take your dog for daycare/boarding. We have take our dog here a few times now and have no doubt that he takes wonderful care of our pup. My dog always comes home tired and seems to have had a great time playing with other dogs. Highly recommend Bobs Animal Friends for all your dog daycare/boarding needs.

The absolute best! More than daycare this is 'play'care. My pup comes home happy and tired! Which makes me happy when I'm coming home tired. They always responds quickly to email, or call. Bob's quality alone makes the drive from/to Rochester worth it but his flexibility on pick up/drop off times puts him over the top. I never worry with Bob taking care of my pup.

Bob's Animal friends has been amazing for our puppy. Excellent socialization with a ton of other dogs. Great facility at a convinient location. And the staff are always available and will stay late/arrive early to help us out. Regardless of the short notice, we have never been turned down. And our puppy is always tugging on the leash to get in and greet the staff. They have removed all stress I used to have with making sure my puppy was taken care of well.

Bob's is great! I've been taking my dog there over 5 years for daycare and boarding. He loves going there and always comes home tired. Bobby and Big Bob always give him extra attention when he gets boarded because he has a little anxiety staying in the kennel. They also have given me great advice on how to have my dog and young kids interact safely. I highly recommend Bob's to everyone!

Bob's Animal Friends is a great boarding facility! Our dog is always excited to go there. He comes back home tired but happy. Each time we have been there, the building has been clean. Drop off and pick ups are always fast and easy. There's always a good number of dogs there (always pretty busy) so I feel like that speaks volumes. People wouldn't keep bringing their fur babies there if they questioned the care they were getting. Each time I go there, I see a dog that has been there before. Nothing but good to say about Bob's Animal Friends!

It speaks volumes that the person boarding your pets for four nights and five days learns their preferences and mannerisms during that short time. Super big thank you to Bobbie at Bob's for the great one on one attention given to my two dogs! Bob's Animal Friends has been a true life saver! Not only were they initially referred to me by a friend, but everytime I tell someone where I take my dog, they are already loyal and happy customers. I use Bob's for daycare because my dog has some separation anxiety issues and could not be happier. Their prices are the most reasonable in Rochester and the staff have so much experience and knowledge. I am so glad I found them and my dog is very well taken care of while I work long hours. I could not be happier with Bob's. The staff has gone above and beyond multiple times and my dog will never go anywhere else. Take your pets to Bob's and you will not be sorry!

These guys take great care of our dogs whether it be for an afternoon or extended vacations, we know they are in good hands. The few times we've had them groomed the results are amazing and well worth the modest charge. We'd highly recommend Bob's to anyone looking for a reputable provider in the Rochester area.

Just wonderful. My pup is so happy to visit, she starts to run from the car to get into Bob's even sooner every time we pull up there now. She clearly seems to have a great time, coming home tired and happy. The people there clearly love dogs and treat them well. Really glad Bob's here!!

In Los Angeles Bob and family would have hundreds of 4 and 5 star reviews. I left my 2 year old service dog Wilson with Bob so I could attend a Mayo Clinic event- it was the first time in 7 months that Wilson had been away from me. Willy had a stressful day but I felt very comfortable leaving him with Bob and when I picked Wilson up Bob had lots of great advice on how to make separation less stressful in the future. I highly recommend boarding at Bob's Animal Friends, great pricing and very accommodating. Thanks Bob.

Have been taking my terrier boy to Bob's for quite some number of years now. They are very knowledgeable about dogs which is good as my boy is a little quirky! Super friendly and helpful too. The new facility is great. Highly recommend!

When I first moved to Rochester, I was in need of dog boarding. I called the biggest one in town (you can imagine what business I'm talking about!) and took my dog out for a 10 minute "test" they called it. 10 minutes later I went inside to see how my dog did and I heard my dog barking frantically in a cage. ??? HOW did that happen in 10 minutes? Apparently they put my dog in a small room with a vet and another dog and they said he didn't do well...of course not! He doesn't know any of you and was scared! I immediately went to find another company and found Animal Friends. I told them of this situation and they said to bring my dog down to meet them, he did fine as I expected and my dog has now been happily boarded for 2.5 years. I travel extensively and appreciate that it's a family owned business that actually cares about my dog. They know I travel and accomodate me too because some nights I come in late and picking up the next day is better for me. If you are looking for a great dog boarding company that will treat you and your dog like family, I totally recommend Animal Friends. I'll also mention that they insure your dog is taken care of by a local recommend vet.I have also asked for their help on retraining my dog and some issues he was going through in regards to life changes. Every single piece of advice worked!!!

I've known the folks at Animal Friends for many years due to rescue work, as they were always willing to help out. When I adopted my rescued Boxer pup 2.5 years ago, I started her at daycare one time per week for her to gain social skills and run off energy. She still goes to daycare every week, sometimes a few times per week if I get busy or she's extra crazy! She LOVES it there as she gets to play for 8-9 hours straight. I love it because I know she is well cared for and that I don't need to worry about her. Daycare has created a super social dog, which people comment on- I give the credit to daycare! The staff are very wise to the dogs in their care and they work with Olive's allergy and are willing to follow a plan if she is stung by a bee. the fact that I have somewhere for her to go if I can't be home for hours on end relieves a lot of anxiety for me. The fact that she's tired the night she comes home and has a daycare hangover the next day are good things :) TOTALLY recommend Animal Friends!!!

Jason, a worker there, is so rude and intimidating, I would NEVER again take my dogs there. In fact, I wouldn't even walk past the place -- that's how scary he is.I don't know how scowling, snarling Jason treats dogs, but if his nastiness to people is a clue, do your dogs a favor and find a canine-friendly place.
