The employees are great but the store is a mess. This is the third time I have been here under these conditions.I am not sure if this is an employee shortage issue, a policy issue maybe signage asking customers to clean up after themselves. I am at a loss but most stores are looking put back together but target is not.The lines at self check out went fast but appear long. I would add more self check out lines to prevent people from ditching carts full of stuff.

Went to target in Mankato today because I had some gift cards to use and when I went to self checkout there was no one to help me. I had to look all over for someone. When I found someone he was so rude to me and wouldn't help me read the very small numbers on the card that had to be entered on the screen. I couldn't even see them with my glasses on. He left and I had to get another employee to read those numbers and enter them and she was no better, so frickin rude. And of course there was only one checkout with someone at it checking people out that had a lot of people at it, so I had no choice but to use the self checkout. So dam frustrating. That Target needs new employees.

Let me just start by saying that Tony is an absolute gem at Target! Every time I step into the Mankato Target, it's like entering a realm of unparalleled customer service, all thanks to Tony. Today, I encountered a bit of a hiccup as my card information was unfortunately pilfered. Picture this: I was just a single dollar short on my order, and without hesitation, Tony generously lent me that very dollar with a warm smile.Tony's commitment to ensuring an amazing shopping experience is truly commendable. I can confidently rate his customer service a solid 10/10, and I can't express enough how grateful I am for his constant positive vibes. Staff are nice when you can find one. Their selection on clothes is very limited in style and size and the same can be said for almost every other section. Toys and tech there's a decent variety and the mixed figures/plushies and fandom stuff they have is nice.

The employees that work in electronics are super nice and helpful and there are several other lovely humans employed at this location too.HOWEVER: my spouse and I constantly get thrown shade by a female lead(brunette that is super rude in customer service) and a male manager(he watches us like hawks when we check out).Just because someone looks different does not mean you get to foster your biases on them.Now my best friend was just humiliated by an employee (smirked and laughed at her) and I find out this is the 2nd time this employee has messed with her. Diversity training videos obviously are not working on these employees 🙄 😪😡😓

One of my daughter's favorite places to go and the prices are okay decent clumsy store great employees fast check out and bonus there's a Starbucks so I would recommend going to Target

Our go to store for birthday present shopping for kiddos! What an amazing selection. If you have no tolerance for ignorant people I suggest avoiding this store all together. I put away so many carts the other day (20?). Just watched person after person stack them in front of the door. The employee helping out was clearly not surprised. I suggest locating other exits in case of a fire and put your kids in the cart if possible so they don't get run over by people who clearly have better things to do than give a hoot about giving children concussions.

I was very disappointed this morning I went to Target at 8:00 am. I was checking out with a gift card this morning.. I needed help and had to go over and ask one of them to help me.. the one that did help was not very friendly..

This is a review for Target as a company not just Mankato. I ordered a TV online and apparently it was out of stock even though it was listed in stock. I was offered free shipping and thought great! I checked online who shipped for Target and all I saw was USPS and UPS so I went with it. I find out after it's Fed Ex. I've had nothing but issues everytime I'm forced to use them. They first tried to deliver to the business next door, 2nd time didn't even knock or leave notice. Third is on Mon. while I'm at work. Tried getting a rep to help-useless. Now I have to pick it up 7 days later. I'm giving one star for not listing who your delivery vendors are in your app and for allowing Fed Ex to touch my product. I recommend dropping them as they are borderline incompetent.

I needed help in beauty and no one was here for that department. I waited by the help box twice and no one came. Eventually, I went up to an employee and asked for help. Sarah was a huge help in helping me pick out a primer. They stepped up to the plate graciously and even went to check elsewhere for me when the product was not on the floor. Thank you, Sarah!

Almost a daily stop. This store is fantastic and do the best they can while being under staffed! Anytime I have had an issue Justin one of the manages made it right! Communication with their management team IN PERSON really gets the problem solved vs a bad review on Google. Thanks for being FANTASTIC Mankato Target!

We always find everything we need at Target, the Mankato store is very clean and organized and the staff is all very friendly. Don was our cashier on this trip and he was by far the most friendly and fun employee we have talked to in a long time! He was helpful, fun and funny!!

I’m really impressed by targets new remodel. It’s bright and welcoming, and very organized. All the staff I encountered today were helpful when we needed them and the cashier Casey was really down-to-earth. He was nice and funny. He was professional and when we asked him questions his customer service skills were excellent!

I dread shopping here. Mankato needs an additional store to handle the volume of product and guests. The physical space is too small to accommodate all of the product. Everything is packed tightly and aisles are barely navigable. Even after months of living here it's hard to find things in grocery because of how it's merchandised. Random product is misplaced throughout the store. The clothing section is by far the worst. Items are rarely folded, stacked, sized, or even hanging on racks, especially in clearance. And what's with only opening one bay of fitting rooms? There are regularly long lines waiting to check out with minimal staff at the registers, but I assume to some extent this just reflects labor shortages across the industry.

The selection of products was very helpful. The staff were helpful.I would suggest calling ahead to confirm if you need pediatric flu shots. Their system allowed me to schedule my children for flu shots but after waiting in line, we were told they did not give flu shots to anyone under 19.Their staff were friendly, helpful and expedient with care. They really tried their best to help out.

Clean and organized, and easy to find exactly what I was looking for. The cashier was quick and friendly even though I was having a toddler throwing a mini tantrum during checkout. The bathroom is a different story. I discovered too late that the toilet paper was out in the stall, thank my lucky stars I'm a mom that carries wet wipes in her purse! The garbage was also overflowing. Without the bathroom experience, this would have been a five star review from me.

I went to customer service to have a coupon added to my pick-up order that I was unable to add with the online order. Tina was so helpful! Because I had just placed the order that day there was some issues with being able to get my receipt. She problem solved to make it all work. She went above and beyond to help me. I just had a baby 2 months ago and its hard to get out with how cold it has been so was so nice to not have to come back! This is actually the second time that Tina has helped me and she is very helpful, pleasant, and personable.

FINALLY found Beyond Meat after searching store after store. Target has it for the BEST price compared to all the online prices I searched through. Also, target seems to be bumping up their game... this isn't over, Target. Gonna have to do a recon mission you soon... :)

Overall a pleasant shopping experience the week before black friday looking for Christmas gifts and baby supplies. Although it was busy, the aisles are large enough to accommodate for the surge in customers and we were able to navigate without frustration. Target rarely disappoints and I'd have to say that this location help up to the standard. It's a solid option department store.

Now, I've been to this target several times. Almost all of my experiences here have been great. If I need something quick I can normally be in and out. Or if I have a list of things to get they have them. One big plus is the friendly employees. However, today when I was checking out my cashier was friendly but one register over there was a family of 3 with their very young child. As they were checking out I see the child was excited to get a new backpack (at least that's what it looked like). As I saw this I looked away and then heard the cashier (employees name tag said Noelle) loud and clear say "let me do my job!" And snatched the backpack from the child because she was excited to have a new one. I was sort of shocked by this. A few others who had heard including the parents seemed shocked by her behavior as well. The cashier did not look even remotely happy, she looked just angry and annoyed like she didn't want to be even talked to by anyone. Just thought I'd put it out there as target does not have any place on there site to put reviews and such.

I needed to exchange a TV that I bought online with one in store and Madi in customer service and the gentleman in electronics were very helpful and made the process very smooth. I'll definitely be shopping Target first when I make my next purchase.
