In my opinion river hills pet hospital is the best vet to go to. I been going there for while now and I won’t go anywhere else. Staff is very caring helpful friendly and respectful. Dr. Woodrow is the best she listen to everything question and answers them where i would understand. Thank you for everything you guys do and taking care of Bella and keeping her in good shape as she is getting older.

The staff here are so thorough, they are not in a rush and always answer all my questions. They treat my dog and I as though we matter. They are helpful, giving advice to help. They are very nice, kind and gentle with my dog. Highly recommend.

Very friendly and welcoming pet hospital. Vet asked a lot of questions and really seemed to take an interest in my cats needs. The facility is also impressive. Clean and beautiful. My cat loved the window perch. She was relatively calm through her exam. Price was fair. Love the feliway plug-ins in the wall. That stuff is a lifesaver. Will continue to bring my baby here.

What amazing people! We have had the best experiences with RHPCH. We have experienced every avenue of care from here (new puppies, emergency visits, surgeries, medication maintenance to end of life care). I would not go anywhere else. They treat our furry family members as if they were their own, along with taking the time to return emails and phone calls promptly. I have never felt rushed when talking to the front desk, support staff, vet techs or the veterinarians themselves.

I recently got my guinea pig and brought her here! She had previous owners and super long, curled up nails. They hadn't cut her nails in roughly four years. This pet hospital got her in right away and were super friendly! They didn't make me feel like I was a bad pet owner (even though I just got her two days prior to bringing her in - I made the appt before I even had her in my care) and they cut her nails in a timely fashion. I think I will bring my other pets here too. This place is much more cleaner than the place I bring my other animals to!

The staff is amazing! We love visiting and appreciate the exceptional care, clean, and friendly environment that is always available. Even during the sad times, the veterinarians are consoling and understanding of every situation. Our pets are always happy to see the staff and especially love the cat room with the window seat and bird feeder! Thanks for being the best pet doctors in town!!

We received exceptional care and expertise from Dr. Holly and her staff to our cat(s). RHPC caters to the comforts of both the pets & pet parents too. Parking is easy and it almost feels like walking into a spa. The place is immaculately clean. There are comfy chairs, a Keurig and refreshments in the airy spacious waiting area. No steps allow for great accessibility.Our vet was closed on the weekend when our senior cat needed them the most for his final visit. We went to RHPC instead. The love and respect shown to our elderly cat when he passed was immeasurable.We received the same 'beyond expectation' standard of care with our new cat. There was a window perch in the spacious treatment room to keep him occupied in between tests. Each test & pricing is explained fully so that we could make informed decisions for treatment.Pricing is very competitive. we were pleased with the affordability. We left with all our questions answered to help us give him uppermost care. We know our boy is in the very best hands here.

Long story short. I moved recently moved so I am now 2 hours away from my regular vet. This place was the only place in mankato that would not refill a prescription form my vet for my pup. Because he is not a current client. I did state he is undergoing surgery shortly so I just need it refilled one time.I don't understand places like this aren't you in the feild of helping animals.

I was referred here by a co-worker of mine. I can say after one visit that i found my Veterinarian Office. They were very comforting and even Marvin my mini Aussie loved them all. He is usually shy, but he welcomed all of them. Ha one Vet tech may have had to coax him with some treats but she was also the same vet tech that kept him distracted while the Vet gave him his 2 shots. He didn't whimper or even look back after he was given his shots. The staff is very knowledgeable and they do not push other treatments, they recommend them and give you the information you need and leave the decision up to you. Fantastic Place to take your pet!

Personally do not recommend. Obviously this is a bit biased. But I have come to the conclusion now that what I have experienced is very poor based on research and other places I have visited. I usually loved their help and expertise. It only took one visit where they took my cat to do a procedure on her ears without my consent or knowledge of doing so. This was during the appointment we had for a recurring ear infection. Of course I had to ask after everything what they were doing and I was told after that they stuck something really deep in each of her ears to help the infection. Then they informed me a bit of how it works and what it does and then proceeded to talk about the bill for it. After all this being months to maybe half a year later, she still has the infection. and after I found out that there is a small chance that her hearing could have been affected permanently.

I recently relocated to Mankato from the Chaska area, which is where my (now previous) vet is located. My cat (Binx) needed to be seen immediately due to an ear infection, however, the first available appointment my vet could offer was the following week (8 days away). Understanding that my cat was in pain pushed me to search for another reputable vet, which is what brought me to RHPCH, thankfully! The receptionist was empathetic and stated they had same day appointments available!This vet clinic, the vet techs, and Dr. Holly are AMA-ZING! The exam rooms are designated for either cat or dog, and for the cat rooms, they have perches up in the windows for feline entertainment, and they use cat pheromone diffusers to keep cats calm. Dr. Holly is compassionate and knowledgeable, she was confident in her assessment and diagnosis, and in providing the appropriate treatment as well.The cost was exceptionally reasonable, I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't more than it was, definitely worth it! For as long as I reside in the area, I will bring my pets to this vet exclusively. Additionally, as almost all pet owners will agree, if my cat/dog doesn't like you, I won't either, and in this case, despite Binx being in pain, Binx was calm and relaxed with Dr. Holly.

RHPCH is keeping dog #3 happy and healthy! September 2019 - Frank's first puppy visit was like a trip to the carnival filled with treats, toys, loads of excitement and socialization. He didn't even know that he had received his vaccinations etc.For 20+ years RCPCH offer has afforded me the ability to have my beloved pets 'children' cared for with their genuine concern, treatment, comfort and respect throughout my boys' lives.I can't say enough good things about the RHPCH care team in Mankato! Dr. Nosbush rocks; I would drive to the New Ulm RHPCH branch in a heartbeat if necessity calls.

I can’t recommend this pet hospital enough. We’ve been taking our two dogs here for years for wellness visits and have received the best care at every appointment. Recently we had an incident where one of our dogs consumed a large amount of chocolate and other snacks, resulting in the need for more specialized and urgent care. Every person we worked with—from the ladies answering the phone, the assistants, and the vet—were so incredibly kind and thorough and always gave us numerous options (in varying price ranges) to help us make the best decisions possible. This has re-confirmed for our family how wonderful this place is and that our dogs are truly getting the best care.

Dr. Woodrow and the staff at RHPCH have been nothing but amazing. I have probably spent more time there than your average pet owner.. My cat was diagnosed with cancer and Dr.Woodrow has been so amazing and helpful throughout the entire process. You can tell that all of the staff there genuinely care about you and the health and well-being of your pet. I 100% would recommend them!!!

Make sure you don’t need them to answer the phone for anything!! Went for my appointment and put River Hills into GPS as it was my first time going there. Ended up at Pet Expo. Called multiple times with no response. By the time they did answer, it was too late and they told me I had to reschedule my appointment. To December. I have been trying to get my cat in since June. Thankfully there are other vets and it was just a wellness check so my cat is fine. Would recommend adding a hold option so people can at least wait until someone comes back to the phone. Even calling to set up the appointment was a struggle.

We unfortunately met the team at River Valley in an emergency situation. However they were extreme kind, and knowledgeable! They got our pup back to normal, and gave us advice/things to watch for if anything ever happens again. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an amazing vet! We are extremely grateful they could get us in today!

Always a great experience. They are all very patient with my very timid dog and also with my crazy excited lab who loves going! Great with my cats too. We were seen a couple months ago for an emergency with one of my dogs and ended up staying a couple hours after they closed caring for her needs. The vet I work with never makes me feel like she is rushing through. She truly cares and she takes the time to really talk through everything. In June I lost my beloved puppers and she was such a comfort to me. The entire staff was so sensitive and kind through that awful time in my life. I have now inherited an older pupper and she’s been so thoughtful to make sure I can include the other family in updates. I feel like this little guy in my care now is in the best hands. That’s a great comfort to me.
