This pharmacy was previously exceptional. Over the last 6 months they gone drastically down hill. I've spent multiple occasions on hold, for more than an hour way, waiting to talk to someone about a prescription that cannot be refilled via the automated system or app. I was told in the drive through that they could no longer discuss "your profile" with you through the drive through so I needed to either come in or call. I use this pharmacy for the convenience of the drive through. Obviously when you attempt to call you cannot get ahold of anyone. To top it off, they are frequently out of the medications I need. The pharmacy has awful customer service.

Waited for dang near 50 minutes. I stated I needed two things changed on my account they were quick to help with one of my request but immediately hung up with no follow up questions asking if I needed anything else I clearly stated there was two things I wanted changed that I cannot do in the app. The thing is do your job you are getting paid no matter what if you feel you're getting stretched thin that's on you and your mentality there is no reason you can't attend to customers at the window or on the phone utilizing your time equally to do so you are still getting paid we are the customers giving our time and money we don't need to be subtly disrespected like that it's poor customer service. This is why people go to Walgreens instead as I will do in the future.

Waited on phone for over an hour to speak with pharmacist finally hung up then tried calling the store and spoke with staff and said that pharmacy was backed up and before I could ask him if there would be a better time to call he had transferred me. I thought that was very rude !

UPDATE, after telling me 1 yr ago that the issues were do to a lot of new people, today I was on hold for 21 minutes before I gave up. No improvement. DO BETTER CVS!!!!12/22 - Literally the worst pharmacy I have ever been to in my life! If you call in be prepared to be on hold forever, and then possibly hung up on. Not friendly either, like everyone I spoke to so far is cranky and sharp, no politeness. And they take their lunches like from 1pm-1:30 or some late hr. like that, so don't go then to pickup a prescription or you will have to wait for them to reopen. When calling them you can expect to wait over 10min for them to answer and that is on a good day. So disappointing.

Waited on hold for a total of 3 and a half hours today to speak with Pharmacist. I do not have the option to auto refill or request a refill via the automated phone system or online/via the app as my prescription is a controlled substance (CS).When I finally spoke to someone the first time, he was super hard to hear and understand. I told him this, and he said "call back," then hung up. He was very audible and clear when he said that though... Second time I reached someone (same pharmacy staff, I believe the actual Pharmacist) I asked for him to submit a request to my perscribing provider for my CS prescription. He refused, stating that because my prescription is a CS, there is an issue of some sort on their end that prevents them from requesting from the provider... I have been able to request the request for the past 4 months without issue. If their policies only recently changed, it is really foolish of them to not inform affected customers in any way.Now, this could be an issue on either my clinic's end, or on CVS's end, but my prescription obviously never got filled since I had to jump through monkey hoops to talk to a human today... However, I was *IN PERSON AT THE STORE* 4 days prior to pick up a different prescription. I asked the pharmacy tech to put in a request for my CS prescription at that time, which he did right in front of me. I did not need or expect the prescription to be ready that same day. However, the CVS app has not indicated my perscription has been filled/on-hold/delayed/etc. So either my clinic hasn't approved the request (not CVS's fault), CVS did not send the request correctly or at all, or there's a status update on the request that CVS didn't think was important to update me on--such as medication out of stock, or on hold for some reason.

Pharmacist was amazing! Got my meds after 50 other pharmacies in the state said they couldn’t order it (other pharmacies had the nerve to say it was discontinued when it wasn’t). Don’t know why this place has such a poor rating. Everyone I have encountered has been very friendly (but yes be prepared to wait on the phone if you call in. I usually wait 10-15 minutes before someone picks up but when they do they are always polite & helpful). I feel bad no one else has had a good experience :(

Because in my app keep on saying that the medication is still in process and then I tried call you but of course I was on hold for 20 mins. I eventually hang up. Seriously it gets very old. It happens all the time. It never ends

Long wait times on phone, most times I have to remind them multiple times to refill my prescription (there was a few times i had to wait 2 weeks-it was in stock)...high turnover rate with staff and lack of knowledge/training with billing insurance (their attitude with me is welp, I tried, you figure it out). Changing to a different pharmacy has been a stress saver

HEART TRANSPLANT medication is important!! THIS particular store (Madison Ave) was awful. No one knows anything about anything and even less about specialty drugs. I wasn’t just frustrated when I got off the phone I was p*ssed. In store staff cut me off while I was asking a question because they felt they already explained it. Not sure I’ve been treated that rudely at a pharmacy before.

The young people working there were very nice and helpful. However my One star comes from the older pharmacy dude or whoever it was that was so RUDE TO ME AND YELLED AT ME OVER SOMETHING SO SIMPLE!! I came in there just asking a question and he basically yelled in my face to go to the other CVS and was not kind at all. Sorry if you hate your job dude but you can be kind to strangers/customers who don’t know any better and come in looking for HELP!!!

Was on the phone over an hour and a half with no answer. Drove 40 minutes one way to get an Rx that a text said was ready but when I got there the temp pharmacist from Target refused to fill my medication, even after insurance approved and a written order by my doctor. Will never go there again after being a customer over 10 years.

Can never get a hold of anyone over the phone. Have tried filling h my prescription over the app. Claims it's been filled, but never actually filled. Now I am currently out of my meds. Hate that I have to use cvs with my insurance or I'd have to pay full price out of pocket. Can't get our insurance to go back to letting us pick so I can go back to Walgreens. Never had any issues with them with all of meds. Cvs is horrible all around.

I had this pharmacy for awhile years ago due to my insurance and have always been appalled at the long wait times there compared with their competitor across the street. However, today when a doctor sent a prescription for my ill child there on accident things got truly crazy. My pharmacy called to request a transfer and was told they were too busy. So I show up in person having driven around with sick kids for an hour waiting at this point only to have the person working the window flip out. I mean, truly unprofessional and rude. I don't think I have ever had someone working behind a counter behave such a way in my life over a simple request. Avoid if possible.

I would think twice about using this pharmacy!!! I only go there becouse my Insurance makes me and when I found out the cost of my meds through insurance I looked on good Rx and found it to be half the price! But they refused to use it! And charged me through my insurance when I called back and asked why the man was very short with me and disrespectful tried to say my name brand was not included in the good Rx price I went back and checked it again and yes it dose have my brand on there! His response was well I can charge you full price if you would like no problem for me! I have no clue how they are still in business! Just awful how they treat people!!

Worst pharmacy that I have ever experienced! They didnt accept my insurance, fine. Then had a different pharmacy call them to get my prescription transferred. This pharmacy was on hold with them for over 30 minutes. One staff did not seem knowledgeable at all. Do not go here!!!

Even though this CVS is always busy, I feel like the staff here are pretty efficient. I only wish the pharmacists and pharmacy techs would have clarified that when CVS advertises free delivery, they mean that they are going to send it out via USPS and it may take days to receive your meds. I feel like educating patients with the most accurate information really helps because it saves everybody time and you know what to do in order to get your med on time.

I wanted to get a booster vaccine, so I made an appointment through their website. The website allowed me to select the moderna booster and a flu shot using my BCBS insurance. I drove 30 minutes only to arrive and have the pharmacy manager rudely tell me I needed to go somewhere else to get the moderna booster. He also said my insurance doesn’t cover the flu shot, which I know is not true from my employer.If you don’t have a specific manufacturer available, don’t have it as an option on your website.

Hope your prescriptions are not urgent ones. No one answers the phone, no help, refill are not done on time or too early. Tech also asked what a prescription was for and they did not fill mine because I was already on a similar drug. I will pay out of pocket for mine because I will no longer go here. Getting ridiculous, asking for a lawsuit.

I will never return to this pharmacy. WAY OVERPRICED! And the customer service was painfully slow. Waited behind this man in line for at least 10 minutes, for his one item. I understand that in customer service, you can only go as fast as the customer, but the cashier could have pointed out the self check out to me! I was tempted to leave everything I had picked out behind. Probably should have! Would have been half the cost elsewhere.

This pharmecy doesn't deserve even a star, they should be recieving an investigation. This pharmacy knows diabetic testing supplies are free if you have Medicare, because they deal with it on a daily basis. They are charging me and pocketing the money. The first time it happened; a lady told me I'm only allowed to have one insurance plan, and she can only charge one insurance plan (that was over a year ago), so I left them at the counter. I have two insurance plans for a reason, Medicare doesn't cover insulin (another problem that I have with this store, insulin). I had to contact my insurance providers the other day to fix this situation, and they said I'm good to go. I went to pick my prescription up today and they charged me again. They know the rules, so yes they are pocketing the money. They charge me the price from the other insurance company and than they bill Medicare (medicare covers diabetic testing supplies for free). The pharmacy needs to be investigated.

My wife and I get our prescriptions filled here and we never wait less than 15 minutes even after calling ahead of time. This latest time we were told me come back in 30 minutes after we were asked to come in after 2pm (we arrived at 3). This has been going on for nearly 3 years.

I would give a zero if possible. I was forced to use cvs because my insurance. Customer service was bad while transferring there and made me run around town for no reason. I was nice when my meds were late and when I'd call to check in because they asked me to a lady hung up on me because I was confused as to what was going on.

Stopped in at 2am. The only lady that works there did not great us when we walked in and was Very rude and I mean VERY RUDE with me and my wife... I took the item I need and went to the cashie, waited for her to come to help us.... she approached us angry and talking aggressively (VERY RUDE) saying that they're short staffed and customers don't use the self check out which I honestly didn't see... she also said its only 2 cutomers and some other things and I couldn't really understand, for that reason I said excuse me? And I tried to be nice and said I can use the self check out ...... she gave us a very mean look and shoke her head saying NO JUST COME OVER HERE...... I couldn't take it and walked outIf staff can't be nice with customers dont have them work there... ill never go back if people get treated like that.... if she's having a bad day dont bring all your anger on a customer who's just there to get a product in exchange for money ... customers deserve betterIf there a negative review I would rate it negative 5 in customer serviceTHIS IS NOT RIGHT

Horrible customer service. Waited for 15 minutes on requesting no more reminder calls about prescriptions. They call constantly. Once to let you know that you can't pick your prescription up yet and another to let you know that your prescription is ready. And everyday after that until you pick your script up.

Only sidewalk in 6 blocks not shoveled today. Walgreens is shoveled. I tromped through the snow. The less fortunate that have to walk and not drive are not been regared here. Other businesses stepped up but not CVS ..

I have never been treated so poorly, my son was released from the ER and we went to get his meds filled. They told me to go wait in the parking lot, when we went through the drive through and said the drive through is a fire lane. Wait...a fire lane? There is no way a fire truck would fit, and I explained if someone pulled up behind me I would move. The Pharmacist, ran over to the window and told me you better move or Im giving your script back. It was midnight....and he yelled at me right in front of my son....worst Pharmacy ever!!

Medication is not ready at the times you are told. This occurs on multiple occasions. The staff in the pharmacy can be very standoffish and rude. Shawn the pharmacist is especially rude and has horrible customer service skills. I recommend going to another pharmacy that actually cares about there customers time and experiences.
