Called these guys to replace a drivers door window. They stripped a bolt trying to get the old glass off and were unable to replace the glass. All they told me was to take it to a dealership to get it fixed. Now I have to spend my own money to fix their screw up and then need to find a new place to get the window fixed. Horrible company.

Brad texted me to say he would be here in about 10 minutes. He arrived as estimated. He introduced himself. Brad got his workstation set up for the first process of removing my cracked windshield. My old windshield was really attached, so he had to work to loosen it up. Brad removed the broken windshield and put it in his van. He went back and cleaned up the area where the new windshield would be attached, by scraping away the remainder of the old rubber seal and old adhesive, and cleaned it with a solution to get it really clean so the new windshield could be installed. Brad was chatting and answering my questions as he worked. He didn't stop working. Brad remained cordial throughout the whole process even though I kept asking questions. He proceeded to prepare the new windshield and the surface of my van to get it ready for the new glass. Brad carefully carried the new windshield to my van and set the windshield in place where he had prepped the surface. He made sure it was lined up properly, then continued to seal around the entire windshield. Brad reattached the mirror, cleaned the glass, inside and outside. Brad put away his tools, AND he cleaned up all of the scraps of old and extra materials laying on the driveway where he was working. The work area was free of all debris when he was ready to go.Brad was very professional, courteous, great attitude, friendly, visited with me and answered my questions while he was working, was efficient, cleaned up after himself.Brad is a great asset to your company. I called in at 130pm to get a smashed window replaced from vandalism on vehicle. The lady who answered the call was very helpful and was able to get me squeezed into the schedule on the same day! They came out on site at my work and had a new windshield installed on by 330pm. If that isn't great service I don't know what is. Thank you!

Chad, the service tech was great. He replaced my windshield in my driveway in about 20 minutes and was very friendly and easy going. He found a mouse nest along the way and cleaned that out and also put my new wiper blades on. I would definitely recommend City Auto Glass of Mankato to my friends and family. City Auto Glass in Mankato is an awesome business with solid leadership and employees! I just had my windshield replaced by Jake. He was extremely friendly and professional. There is literally nothing he could have done to make this experience any better! I'm very happy with the quality of work that he did and the outcome is perfect. Thank you Jake! I hope City recognizes what a man of character you are and also your awesome work ethic and perfect people skills, and pull you right up the ladder because you're a keeper! It was great chatting with you while you worked and thanks for being cool with me watching and learning how windshield replacements are done. At 47 years old, I guess I'm officially that old guy who is fascinated by random things hahaha.I went with City Auto Glass because of their excellent Google reviews and because they accept Geico insurance, and it paid off! I had tried three different appointments with Safelite (because they're Gieco's recommended shop) and three times they made an excuse to not do the work! Just another example of a really big business that is too big to care about customer service. City Auto Glass is the complete opposite and they are rock stars. Jake had mentioned how his manager is a beast and cranks out the quality work. Obviously, he leads by example.After experiencing the Safelite nightmare, these guys made my day. Called my insurance company for a windshield claim after a rock was flown at my windshield over the weekend. Within minutes I received a call for a time and day that works best for it to get replaced and for them to come to me, when they got here I had just woken up to fill my dogs bowls by the time I had gotten my dogs bowls filled I look out my window and they were done already with the paperwork sitting on my drivers seat. Very punctual. Prompt and professional. My new windshield looks amazing and writing about it does no justice. The lady on the phone who called me was very nice and answered any questions I had. My experience is what you expect all transactions should be. The service was excellent, from the office staff to the work staff. The whole matter was handled in the Mankato Office and they even had a car available for me to use to do some business. I was also assured by the office staff that everything would be taken of., I've had the vehicle back for a few months and I've had no problems whatsoever and confident if I did it would have been take care of. The windshield replaced was from a Buick Tour X that had a ton of safety equipment built in and they still were able to get the WS in a matter of days.
