This was a great recent rediscovery for us. We lived in Mankato for a few years during college, and on a recent trip back to town we needed to stop and get sidewalk salt. They have a lot to look at here. My mom is a nurse, and I snapped several pictures of their scrub section. I'll definitely be back with her to do more shopping. The store was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were all very helpful.Big parking lot with handicap accessible parking and entrance.

Great stock of scrubs! I struggle to ever find my size and they had full stock! It was my first time coming and will definitely be back! Also, huge selection of carhartt! Great store!

This is a great store that has just about everything you can think of. Great selection of grills, tools, mowers, and hardware. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Usually love this place but just had an awful experience with a worker named Nick. Extremely rude to other employees and me. Muttering under his breath the whole interaction. I was returning a scrub top because it didn’t fit and when I bought a new one said to me did you make sure this one fit? I don’t know if he just had a problem with me and my partner or if this is just how he treats anyone who comes into this store, but it was unacceptable. He seemed extremely annoyed the whole time and like he didn’t even want to do his job. Felt like I had do something wrong just because I wanted to return something.

We went in to make a purchase when we went to go checkout the cashier got mad immediately because we cut some hose "purchase item" ourselves "cutters was there to use and no signs saying ask for assistance " right away started getting mad saying we need the sku repeatedly then after he was yelling it at us we just said forget it and proceeded to leave. While leaving he repeatedly yelled "you cut it you own it"... even though we never even got to pay for it even after saying the price and how many feet. We will never go back there if that is how customers are treated.

I've been making quite a few purchases here recently and this is a well run store with that small home town feel. I like a store like this, where I take 5 or 10 steps in the door and someone is there to help me so I don't have to search. Also the staff gives good advice when I need it. Only down side is this is rarely the lowest price but I guess you pay for service, a variety of services and concenience. Since most every small home improvement project I embark on takes an average of 3 trips to a hardware store it's worth it.

Superb customer service. I was in the store to get winter boots after the first snow fall in October. A wonderful woman named Jasmine helped me. She was so kind, helpful and full of cheer. She went to the back to get more sizes . Smile on her face. They didn't have my size. I ordered them online. If there could be Jasmine's at every store in the world. This world would be a better place.

C&S has close parking, easy in and out, and EVERYTHING YOU NEED! Lots of employees offering to help you find something and give useful advise. Local ownership. I love C&S Supply! Keys made, paint & supplies, grass seed and lawn care, nails, screws & hardware. Clothing, hats, boots, scrubs. Equine and pet stuff. Grills, shovels, snowblowers, lawn mowers, solar salt. EVERYTHING!

The place has character! This is a farm supply/hardware store. This is not a Walmart or Target. It is cluttered, cramped, and a little overwhelming to the casual shopper. That is what makes it great!They have a great selection of jeans. Especially during Fall and Winter, they have a great selection of outerwear and boots. Plus, they have everything you would need for your home or farm. You need to have the experience of shopping there.

Sunday afternoon and need a few parts for the old push mower. No where better than to go then down to the locally owned C & S Supply. Always friendly and helpful. They had what I needed and at a good price as well. It is great to have somewhere else to go beside the big box hardware/home improvement store.

Went in and bought a $1300 chainsaw, they disappeared with it brought it back and said "you're good to go" they didn't show me anything about the saw. Worst customer service ever! They kept telling me to go to another hardware store and find someone with more knowledge.

Since Ace Hardware closed in town, this is the only store in town with small parts (screws, bushings, etc) and for small engine repair as well. Many other quality products that are otherwise hard to find in town. Friendly, helpful staff.

So extremely rude! My husband went in to exchange work pants, they had all the tags on them, he didn’t t have the original receipt but just wanted to switch out for black because he got blue. The cashier was rude and wouldn’t exchange them for a different color, so he just bought a new pair and now has a pair he can’t wear. I called to talk to a manager, she spoke to the cashier who then lied about what happened. I told the manager that is not what happened and we would shop at Tractor Supply from now on. She said thanks and hung up. Never will I go there again and I will never recommend anyone to go there either.

A great example of a locally owned supply store. They have your general supply goods you would expect, but the quality of the products is well above average. From hand tools to yard tools, work wear to gas-powered equipment, it is better than a basic line of goods. They can set up charge accounts for businesses. I enjoy the quality and selection of the work wear they have as well as tool selection. They also have a service section for gas-powered equipment like lawn mowers, snow blowers and chainsaws with knowledgeable and helpful staff in every area.

In business since 1957, this family run hardware store in the grand old tradition may run a bit pricier than the big box stores up the hill and across town but offers excellent selection and superb customer service and I do in fact look forward to returning with my business there soon.

I needed potting soil because the seed company mailed my tomato plants too soon. The young man helped me and also sold me some fertilizer that is specifically for tomatoes. They are growing nicely in the kitchen now.

Best place in Mankato for scrubs! Huge selection of all colors including short and long sleeve, as well as scrub coats. Great quality clothing, hunting gear and winter weather gear. Huge selection, big and tall sizes too. A+

C & S is staff is always helpful and friendly. Sometimes they don't have what your looking for, but that goes for any store. I like shopping there. Prices can be a little higher than , say like Walmart but the quality is always good . I like Walmart too , but sometimes you have to decide what price and quality you want, like for tools and etc. .

My husband and I have only good things to say about the selection and quality of items at C and S Supply. The low rating comes as a result of the astounding lack of understanding from a manager when my husband needed to use the restroom. My husband has a physical disability that impacts his need to use the restroom urgently, especially in cold weather. The men’s restroom was in use. He asked if he could use the women’s since they are single toilet restrooms (only one person in the restroom at a time essentially). The manager said no, and continued to say no even after being informed of the impact of the disability. I’m not sure exactly what danger the manager thought my husband posed in his wheelchair, unable to walk across the room. Really, it’s not so much the initial no answer that is upsetting. It is the dismissive attitude with absolutely zero attempt at customer service. In the future, if a comparable product is available from a competitor I will pay more. I can’t say I will never shop at C and S Supply because that would be unfair to the cheerful young man who entertained my three year old daughter with bolt sorting activities when she was waiting for her daddy to use the restroom. ( thankfully the previous customer came out in time).

This is the best place to come for almost any supplies! Today I needed a new shaft for my McCloud and Jon took the time to replace the old one with the new, it ended up being a bigger project then expected. Really appreciate his help! It saved us a lot of time at home.

This is a very comprehensive hardware store. Lots of outdoor and work wear. Boot store, small engine repair shop that finds obscure small engine parts for customers who are interested in doing their own repairs. Excellent store with friendly people.

Called for a self descriptive " 2 inch panel mount 120 psi gauge", got a confused "I don't know what you want".Really? A hardware store that can't decipher a simple request?Let me guess, a "10 penny nail" request will send you off to the corner, rubbing your forehead.
