Very fun experience while camping in Luverne, MN! You can order inside or outside and everything is made to order. Burgers and onion rings were both really good. Wish we got some ice cream though! We will have to try that next time. Everything was also extremely affordable which is nice since everything elsewhere is crazy expensive nowadays.

There is something special, dare I say magical, about these classic drive-in restaurants. The food is pretty basic American fare - burgers, fries, soda, etc..., but the atmosphere is alive with a nostalgic energy that supplements any gap in the menu and then some.The staff here are also so very polite and friendly, adding to the welcoming experience.We had the fish sandwich and fries, and enjoyed each a great deal. 😋

I must have caught Tasty Drive In on their worst day, a stark contrast to their 4.6-star Google rating. I stopped by expecting the usual fast-food speed but ended up in a frustrating standstill. I ordered a burger, onion rings, and a shake, yet found myself waiting an unreasonable amount of time with no end in sight. With obligations waiting for me, I couldn't afford to wait forever. After leaving in dismay, I called from my car to express my frustration, only to be greeted with snarky responses. Dee's handling of the situation left much to be desired, offering a $5 coupon but ignoring the fact that I had already paid $13 for a meal I never received. It was enough to ensure I'll never return. When fast food isn't fast, it's simply a fast track to disappointment.

This place saved our lives. Stayed in town, just passing through and found more than 1/2 the town shut down (lack of staffing, most likely no one wanting to work or being paid by the government not to work). The kids here are working hard for little. The food was awesome. Good Job! Stop in and tip these kids. I am very proud of them.

A fun, retro feel with tasty food and prompt service. Lots of options on the menu that don’t break the bank. Seating inside is sparse during rushes but plenty of outdoor covered seating

I've never had a banana split with blueberries but they were out of pineapple, and the girl suggested blueberry. Very good choice. Very satisfying to sit and enjoy, it's been years since I've had one. I'll definitely be back

The staff is friendly, but the serving size of some of the food is small and expensive. I bought a grilled chicken salad for eight dollars and it was a small takeout box with shredded lettuce and a little cubed chicken and cheese. The ice cream products are good. If you want a salad go see Anita at Casey's. The price is the same, but you get so much more with a salad from Anita!!!

My husband and I travel full time, state to state.. we have been staying in pipestone for a month now and came down to Luverne to do laundry. While waiting we decided to go here for dinner as the parking lot is always packed. We both got the double bacon cheeseburger, a fry and an onion ring. Oh my god. This was probably the best burger I've ever eaten. It was absolutely delightful! And the onion rings were on freaking point. The only negative was the fries didn't have salt. But I take that with a grain of salt. LOL I wish we were gonna be here longer. Because I can see myself craving a burger later down the road.

I love this place it’s so cool and the food is very tasty lol the staff are awesome and they make the food so fast! If your ever out in luverne you have to stop by and just try it. I eat here usually 1 a week and even go out of my way to stop here if I can, it’s so much better then anywhere else around. Thanks!

I am on vacation and decided to pass through here. I went to the drive in for somethin quick to eat. My expectations weren't very high, but the food was actually quite good. For it being a local chain (I believe) the food was quite impressive. Good service, good food, nice people no reason not to rate 5 stars.

Great burgers, awesome fries and scrumptious ice cream treats! I spent less money for a fresh, quick, custom burger and tons of fries than going through drive through at any burger place.You have to get out of your car but it's well worth the extra leg stretch and 5 to 10 minutes wait for this delicious food. You can also eat inside now.

Found this place on Google Maps while looking for places to eat in Luverne on our way back to Wisconsin. We ordered two cheeseburgers, fries, tater tots, a chili cheese dog and a chocolate shake. All items were accurate and tasted great. Do yourself a favor and stop at this place. You will not be disappointed. Overall, my husband and I were very impressed.Great Job to the team working on Sunday September 13th.
