Small town feel, big bbeer taste. Stopped on my way from Minneapolis to Sioux Falls for work and was impressed with the cozy micro brewery in Luverne. They have an event center on site, but apart from the main taproom. Cozy taproom with moderate seating room. There was an igloo to rent on site. The beertender was friendly and knew the locals. He made me think of an old west saloon bar tender. Several choices of Heggie's Pizza. Some pretzle mix snacks. About 13 beers on tap with a root beer on tap. You can get their beer to-go and they have discounts of 3 to-go items. They also have a meat cooler withm eats from Walnut Bush Farms.

A really fine brewery in SW Minnesota. Spent the evening there and met another nice couple from Boston. We sat outside and listened to some really good live music and enjoyed some of the great brews on tap. Will definitely be back! Great brewery.

This place is a wonderful addition to Luverne. They offer a decent variety of brews full of flavor. The brewmasters put together a rotating list of barrel aged sours that are certainly worth a taste. There is plenty of seating inside with a nice atmosphere or grab a spot on the patio. You can grab a game to play from the shelves in the back to pass the time or entertain the little ones. During events they have picnic tables set up in the parking lot. There is also an event center attached to the brewery which offers up a large, beautiful space with a private bar for your get togethers.

My girlfriend and I stopped here on Friday (5/27) & Saturday (5/28) on our way to Blue Mounds. We are very glad we did! Such a cool spot! The patio was lively and lots of people out and about. The staff was very friendly and gave us recommendations while we were in town. You HAVE to stop here if you are ever near Luverne!

The brewery was closed unfortunately when we stopped by and we had very little time to wait as we were traveling through the Midwest. we stopped by because after trying three of their fantastic beers at a local pub and later from a bottle shop, I wanted to try the brewery too. Next time maybe. managed to pack some back to Oregon and enjoying a Country Mile while grilling kabobs right now. Thanks guys and keep it up.

They provided SF Canaries after game meal, fantastic. Those that could drink (not me) said their beer was really good. I could have the Home made Root Beer, fantastic.

We visited here on a Wednesday evening. Was not busy at all, but the atmosphere was perfect. Our waiter/server was very courteous and knowledgeable of craft beers available and the history of the establishment as well. I apologize for not remembering the young ladies name. But thank you for a great time, and I will return for another visit, thank you so much....

Fairly crowded on a late Thursday night near closing time, which we were not expecting. Even so, we were quickly served and the beers were good. They had several TVs in the taproom, all turned to the Twins baseball game. The outdoor seating area really looked like the place to be, but it was full so we sat inside.

Friendly service and the beer was good. The bar area is very well decorated. The rest of the brewery is a little more a small town bar feeling. Very clean and welcoming. One thing that stands out about this brewery is that you can buy smaller pours for two dollars each. So you can have a big glass but try something else too if you like.

Great local business. Love stopping there after riding motorcycle all day. Relaxing place to sit outside and have a beer and something to eat on the weekend from one of the food trucks or trailers that they bring in.

Definitely recommend stopping by, staff was knowledgeable and friendly! They made us feel like locals even though we are 4 hours from home - felt like we were! Great selection of beers! Everything as great! Will definitely return with friends!!

As a homebrewer for the last 29 years my bride and I are always looking for craft breweries when we travel. We spent the night in Luverne just so we could go to Take 16. The beers were excellent and the pizza hit the spot. So much fun talking with Zach and his family, y'all just made us feel right at home. If we are ever in Luverne again we will definitely stop in for a couple of brews. A huge thank you from Colorado.

Excellent small town brewery with a wide variety selection. From Porter's to IPA and lagers in between. Something for every beer taste. And all are excellent! Had a flight, and drank them all😉
