So the male working at the window was friendly, but it’s disappointing to see your iced coffee be made with only a thin layer of whipped cream and less than half a teaspoon of caramel drizzle when you paid an extra 80 cents for them.. Meanwhile a pink haired employee in the background is making herself a drink completely covered with chocolate and caramel drizzle inside the cup and on top with a mountain of whipped cream… I think the employee helping herself got the extras that I actually paid for 😒

This is so ridiculous and they need to shut down the McDonald's in Luverne MN. They didn't not listen to my dad's order. My dad ordered two number 7's and they gave my dad two McDouble. They gave my dad no receipt. They were very rude to my dad. When my dad confront the person who gave him the bag. But when my dad told him that it was the wrong order. The coworker ran inside the building hiding from him. And they gave him the wrong drink too. The food they gave him didn't even look appetizing to eat. Thank you McDonald's in Luverne for losing my appetite and the respect I have for you. I will never come back here ever again. I recommend going to Brandon or Sioux Falls if you are going to get McDonald's.

Horribly Slow and lacking : Wait time was extremely long - probably close to 15 minutes before even ordering - with only 1 car in front of me. I even called the restaurant to ask if they were still open. After ordering, still a long wait. Fries were just over 1/2 full, sandwich had a sparse amount/dab of sauce. I did not receive a receipt, so had to call to ask for one - by this time there were probably 5 or 6 cars lined up, and I was advised I would have to go back through the drive through to get it. I indicated that would not work, and the employee did bring it out - and was nice, also offered to give me another order of fries, but at that time I was very leery.

If you'd like to wait 30 minutes, get scowled at by rude staff, then forgotten about, just to finally receive someone else's cold food, then this is the place for you.Honestly, in my entire 30 years of existence, this McDonald's has always been an absolute dumpster fire. If this town had more affordable food options I'd never bother going here again.I've had them mess up orders and refuse to fix it. They never compensate their customers for making them wait or giving them the wrong thing. And it happens ALL. THE. TIME.Stay away if you can.

The morning crew is great. The night crew is the worst in America. Don't stop here for food, just keep driving. You're better off waiting the extra 30 minutes of drive time. BETTER YET, Drive a few blocks north to JJ's better food and service or go to Taco Johns, they staff there is way better. McDonald's nighttime Manger needs to work somewhere, where he doesn't have to interact with other people. He's rude and disrespectful.

It is too bad this is one of the first things visitors to Luverne see when entering town from the interstate. Had to return to the store because they made my double quarter pounder with bacon a quarter pounder with bacon. The new sandwich had no seasoning on the patties and was extremely greasy. The French fries tasted and smelled like they were past their seven minute hold time. Thanks for the expired apple pie!

Evidently they were "busy" and telling people 30 minute wait minimum if they ordered (orders were made from kiosks saving an employee there). The place had about 14 people inside ordering and 5 to 6 cars in drive thru at the time (counted adults and kids). Place was a mess, order was messed up, fries were cold and undercooked, and a couple people even got refunds to just leave. Workers were foul mouthed and lazy in terms of work ethic but their mouths seemed to operate full gas complaining (besides the 1 female working who deserves better coworkers and work environment). Should you be traveling, I suggest Worthington or Brandon McDonalds.

Went through and got burgers for supper. Ordered them with no Pickles and no onions, got home and we got cheeseburgers with Pickles and onions but NO BURGER PATTY. How can this be soooo hard? Don't waste your time in luverne at this McDonald's keep driving to brandon or Worthington depending on direction

We did take out.The chicken nuggets were not cooked right. Many of the fries were cooked until the whole fry was crunchy. Our son wanted a hamburger happy meal and was excited for the pickle that was SUPOSE to come on it. Well no pickle, so he said where's my pickle. So if you put down no onions they won't give you the pickle or they forgot the pickle.So this all could be because of the next part too.The manager was telling her people to do this and that (as suppose to,) but she was doing it wrong. She has one doing the run out to cars, (also doing cleaning) her and another doing bags/packing, one at the window, one by the fries, one getting boxes out and doing few other things, 2 by hamburger/nugget area. Well she calls one from the nugget area to help her with packing/bags (no idea what happen other person up there.)This is on tristate band festival day.A very busy day in Luvernelet me give you ideas what it looks like as you imagine the up there part with everyone confused from all the spots pulled and put back and trying to do what she says.Cars lined up from drive through waiting for their food all the way in front. Cars lined up all the way to the end of lining up enough to let people in and out still. Maybe luck we got a spot as we arrived this is what it looked like and it got even bigger as we left.So a normal time is even adding more than this, I'm sure we got there after huge crowd (yep that's not huge that's big for this day.) And before the last huge crowd.The girl who helped pack bags was much faster on the grilling side. The one on the fries stood stared more than any them and I think being more in line with the fries would've helped instead to the side with her hand on her hip looking around ounce in a while. Yes it's busy tired, but as often as she did it, could've burnt the fries.Oh and time wait was about 20 minutes.Oh ya and there was a lady that came in that ordered of the app same way as us. She says her number and it's after ours she has less happy meals than us is all and a bigger bag. She goes up and constant showing her order asking where it is, the manager handled that real well ( oh there was someone on cash register for the long line of orders too.) She stayed calm with this lady. Later that lady got her stuff right before us and few other numbers after ours were called, only one made sense be after oursAlso our fries were cold as we ate them on hot day right away after getting themthey put fries and let them wait in the bag, not appealing.Sorry forgot to add the hamburgers both my mom and son golookedndifferent than the good ones many other McDonald's have....old? Nock off hamburger? No idea.

We are disappointed and frustrated with the bad customer experience we received at this location. We ordered the shareable Classic Big Mac which comes with its own 20 piece chicken nuggets, 2 Big Macs, and 2 medium fries. We also ordered another additional 20 piece chicken nuggets. There were supposed to be 40 pieces altogether for our purchase but we only received 20 pieces. Even after we explained and showed the shareable deal on the app to them, all staff on duty including the manager would not listen and continually told us that we were wrong. They kept telling us that we only got 20 pieces because the other 20 pieces weren't listed on the receipt. Okay... so explain this to me... how do you even know to give us the 2 big Mac sandwiches and the 2 medium fries but not the 20 pieces chicken nuggets? According to the receipt, the big macs or medium fries items were not specifically listed under the deal either.

We stopped after a football game in town. We thought we were the only people in line when we ordered, but when we pulled around, we did have one car in front of us. They, however, left fairly quickly, so we paid at the first window and then pulled up to the second to get our order. We sat there for 45 minutes. We watched one employee take a couple of orders inside at the counter, hand out one order at the counter, and then like I mentioned, (45 minutes later) they came to the window to hand us our order. (4 cheeseburgers, 2 regular fries, and two drinks) I believe the worst part was probably the fact that they had the pass through window cracked open about 6 inches, and had no less than 30 flies crawling around on our open drinks and surrounding surfaces. (That is what we got to watch for 45 minutes.) When the person finally handed us our order, I wanted to ask for new beverages that bugs had not drank from, but literally no longer had the desire to argue about it.

I ordered a sandwich and a beverage. The person working the food window stood and chewed her fingernails as she waited for the food. When she came to the window I pointed out what I had observed. She did not apologize or did she wash her hands. She continued to handle food. I called the restaurant immediately after leaving. She answered the phone. I asked who her supervisor. She refused to tell me and hung up on me. DO NOT EAT AT THIS FACILITY!.

Worst experience at any McDonald's I've ever been to. I asked for extra crispy fries. I got no response so I asked if she heard me and got a rude "um yes". When I went to pay the same girl had an attitude. And then when I got to the next window to pick up my food. I checked the fries and they were soggy. I could tell they were fries that had been sitting in the basket pre made. And when I asked if they were extra crispy, I got another rude response from the other girl. Worst customer service I've ever had! Soggy fries and mediocre burger! Will not be going back to this location!

We ordered a few meals, a mccrispy, and some desserts. The service was great and no complaints with any of the food besides the McCrispy. I ordered it without pickles and to add bacon and ranch. It came without the pickles, but it said special request on the ticket along with no pickles. I’m assuming the correct order wasn’t relayed onto the line and it ended up coming out with Mac sauce. I didn’t want to eat the sandwich, but was to far back on the road to turn back around unfortunately.

The McDonald's in luverne mn is about the slowest one I've ever been to. The food we got in the drive thru looked like they just threw it in the box the condiments were not all on the burgers some were in the bottom of the box the burger came in. It was just a mess to even eat. So as far as going back there it won't happen again. The only good part was how nice the lady in the drive thru was that took our order. Thank her for her friendliness and great attitude.

Management needs to do a better job of keeping people organized and on task. We ordered two shakes and it took over 25 minutes to get them. I could understand if it was during lunch rush and we ordered a bunch of other food with it but this was at 3:00 in the afternoon, we did not order anything else, and there was not a line in front of us.The shake was good but not worth the wait.

The worst customer service i ever came across in Minnesota. The food would have been good but the service ruined it. So here's what happened. I paid for two orders and only wanted them in separate bags. The young lady handed me two drinks, I asked is this one Dr pepper she ignored me. Then she tried to hand me one bag, I asked if she could put them in separate bags. She says its out the window and I can't take it back. I pointed out I haven't touched the bag and I would like to speak to a manager. A women approached claiming to be the manager, listened to my complaint handed me a second bag with the first bag. If your in the area keep on past this spot. Two thumbs down.

I ordered a McChicken meal and a Quarter Pounder w/cheese meal and both were cold the mcchicken bun was burnt, no lettuce or mayo on it. The quarter pounder was smashed and messy and the box looked like it had already been used.. The fries weren't even warm. At 7:00 pm there should be no reason for such terrible cold food and service, especially when there was only 2 of us (vehicles) in the drive thru and no one inside. I should have known better than to think Luverne, MN location had gotten their act together.
