The only decent thing about this place is location. We were there for a 3 night stay. The first night the toilet broke. It was fixed the next day but they didn't even bother to clean up the mess they made. The second night the heater quit. After much hemming and hawing a space heater was brought in with promises of fixing the heater the following day. The third morning the toilet brokeagain, same part. They didn't use the supplied hardware to fix it correctly. I fixed it myself. No heater again the third night.The staff needs instruction on food safety. Breakfast was cold, we went to Mc Donald's.The staff needs further instruction on personal hygiene. Just plain gross!I've was in contact with the manager, upon arriving home. THEY DO NOT CARE!!Don't stay here.

This is the hotel I have always stayed in while visiting in luverne, I have stayed here since it has opened. I stayed here for three nights over the past weekend. To start off with, the hot tub does not work. Next, the bathroom lights in our hotel were completely burnt out. They fixed that on our last night of our stay. Being that we didn’t have a lights in our bathroom till the last NIGHT, we had no idea how absolutely filled those bathrooms were with mold. We got the light turned on and it was absolutely caked with mold all over the ceiling. As well as, in some of the rooms, the have the fire detectors completely removed. We brought up the mold on our way to check out, because once again, we did not notice until late on the last night, and the person working the front desk raised his voice and started yelling about how we should’ve changed rooms, maybe y’all shouldn’t have a crazy amount of mold growing all over your hotel and this wouldn’t be a problemRooms: Covered in moldSafety: Missing multiple fire detectors and an infestation of black moldNoteworthy details: Customer service was very poor. Clearly the bathroom light in our hotel wasn’t working so we could not see the mold, as we were only at the hotel to sleep. Just disgusting all around

Mrs. Erika was the most polite person, she answered all mine and my wifes questions and was very informative to restaurants in location and grocery store. The room was spacious bed was comfy. pillows comfy saw a stain on my comforter I called front desk she was more then willing to change out linen but I said no it was fine. The customer service and cleanliness and fresh smell of mopped floor in lobby had me and my wife very impressed. Location is great to hit i-90 for traveling. I suggest the howling dog for food. Keep up the excellent work thank you Mrs. Erika :)

Right off the freeway so amazing for a trucker. Hotel was nice and quiet. Bathroom very clean and beds were very comfy! Smoking yes outside with a bench and ashtray . Front desk easy check in and very polite. Ashley at front desk at night was charming. She cleaned almost everything you could see I was doing laundry!( yes they have laundry also. Ashley made sure we had anything we needed and was kind with directions . Very big parking lot and lovely indoor pool that is clean.

Let's start with the positive. The beds were comfortable. It was quiet. The free breakfast was pretty good. The obligatory waffle bar, along with egg and sausage patties. On the flip side they don't seem to care about maintenance (see pics). Wall paper was patched with clear packing tape. Some things obviously needed replacement. We were missing a dresser drawer. Our room had a strong musty smell like there had been some kind of water catastrophe. The hotel was full so we couldn't get another room. We were there two nights and it never got any better. The shower was not great although we did have hot water. The main room door was poorly adjusted and difficult to open and close. The carpet was filthy. I wondered why I was leaving dirty footprints in the shower. So I took a damp washcloth and rubbed it on the carpet. See the picture for yourself. I wouldn't walk barefoot in there.

They need new towels. The overall room smell was NOT awesome. Bathrooms badly need updating. TVs are small. Hot tub is INOP. Exterior doors are not sucure. We would've moved to the hotel across the street if they had vacancy, regardless of cancelation fees. The front desk was helpful, but the facility doesn't provide much support. Won't be back.

The lady checking me in was very sweet. But the bed was awful. My sheets had lots stains on them. Room facing street is a bad idea. So much traffic its hard to sleep. Here for work so glad I didn't pay.Rooms: Small no trash cans and bed are so awful

Ashley at reception welcomed us in a snowstorm! She was very helpful and found us a room. I thought one of my sheets was dirty, so Ashley immediately scampered up to my room and put clean sheets on the bed.Also, fresh lemon water was available in the lobby.Location just off the highway was really convenient for me.There is a swimming pool too.

I read the reviews and thought this was a good place for my family en route from Boston to Seattle. I was terribly wrong. I Booked two rooms on the first floor. Both rooms were reeking of mold and musty odors. The AC unit filter in both were completely clogged with lint. The wallpaper in the room, especially the bathroom was peeling and there was many types of mold readily visible. No screens in the windows so I could not open them to air the place out. Sheets and bedding was damp and reeked of moisture/molding. It was late at night so there were no options for changing rooms. I am really disappointed at EconoLodge and will not stay at their locations again. I really expected better.

The non-smoking room smelled like smoke when we arrived, but the housekeeper immediately shampooed the carpet which removed the smell pretty well. The indoor pool is so cold that I didn't want to go into it. The breakfast is okay, better than just bagels and toast. Housekeeping staff was super helpful and quick whenever we had a request.

Smell in the room is intolerable. Chemicals, like constantly inhaling bleach or amonia. I left the door and window open for hours and it never passed. Peeling wallpaper in the bathroom and overall dingy feeling. Hot tub was closed even though the call center said it would be open. The call center also said breakfast would be until 10:30 but it was only until 9. They said the credit card wouldn't be charged but when we arrived it was charged anyway. The manager rectified the mistake but it was overall poor communication and stressful. Probably won't try to stay at another econo lodge or "choice hotel" again- our last experience with a choice hotel wasn't great either...

The location is a good location. How ever I thought the sweet would have a bigger bath tub and bathroom then what it really had. Was dissapointed by the size. I told the person I wanted to go swimming asked if the pool was open. Although the pool was open no one told me that the heater for the pool was broken and the pool watter was ice cold so I did not get to go swimming like I really wanted to do. So I give it 2 stars.

My family stayed here for a hockey tournament and absolutely disgusting - smelled terrible - build up on shower heads - trash in bedrooms - many people called the front desk about all the problems we had. Would never stay here again. Waste of money. My husband had to open the windows to air the room out. Wallpaper peeling from walls.

Well, my stay had some good and bad. The pool was small but clean but the spa was closed. The room was clean but the bathroom was not. The tub was plugged so by the time your shower was done, you were standing in water. I wanted a shower not a bath. The desk clerk used a toilet plunger to attempt to unclog it. Eww. It didn't work.The breakfast area was nice but when we got our sausage and egg patties the attendant told us they were cold and to put them in the microwave. I'm sure that's a health code violation.Still, it's reasonably priced. If the housekeeping was just a bit better then I'd say give it a try.

Beds were comfy. The little pillows they had were a bit weird but comfy also. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice. Very quiet stay. The only real thing I can comment on is the pool hours 10am to 10pm. I'd have liked to use it in the morning but I had plans for the afternoon. The pool was the reason I booked here instead of the slightly cheeper super 8.Oh and the water pressure is amazing. No need to waste money on a chemical peel if you're planning it. Just hop in the shower.
