Called ahead to check availability and price, very inexpensive. First impression was the office smelt like cats, our room did not have a whiff, smelt very clean. I would absolutely stay here again, room was outdated but clean, had microwave and mini fridge. Reading reviews of other hotels/motels with bedbugs/brown water/mold many bad things this place was great none of that. Good price, cleanliness and staff.

The price was affordable! Convenient location right off the highway. Clean room. Better than what I expected for the price. The gal who runs it was sweet. I booked the room by phone.Rooms: Had a fridge, microwave, tv, wifi. Bed and pillow seemed newer and were firm. Has window air conditioner. Bathroom included towels. We were able to park right in front of our room.Nearby activities: It's a short drive or walk to the beach at "The Lake"

this place had everything! there were plants all around in this kind of hidden motel. the laundromat was only a block away which was extremely easy to walk to. it was very convenient and cozy stay

This is such a great priced family owned business. I don't know the difference between motel lodge and hotel I stay everywhere. I go off reviews some what, the way the phones are answered and the appearance of pictures and friendliness of staff. I called to see if there was any open rooms and found out this was instantly a family owned business which I loved right off that back with a great price. They also didn't mind I had 2 small kids. Wonderful. I had a long drive behind us and I have a long drive ahead of us and this is the first hotel we have found where it didn't make me cringe when I walked in the room by the smell of mold or apparent of the room. It was very clean. I stayed in #6 and we loved it. The kids were very happy and so was I. The owner was so friendly and kind. If I ever come through Minnesota again I will definitely stay again. No mold no bed bugs. Slight musty smell in the room. But I am highly allergic to mold and I didn't have to take a benadryl to stay here. And I refuse to stay at anything owned or operated by the Wyndham because no matter what state its in or town they are all so nasty and mold ridden my poor lungs just can't handle it I just go into a mold panic and can't stay in the room or the building and they refuse to refund my money. I have also stayed at a few holiday Inn express in a few states as well that had mild growing up the walls and out of outlets it was gross and just filthy rooms. This room was much nicer and cleaner. And everyone here is nicer as well. Brand names mean nothing when it comes to where you sleep. There is lots of choices for stores and food in walking and driving distance and delivery options too. No phone in room which I appreciate because I have kids. And there's a great amount of channels. Plus a fridge and microwave.

This little motel is the cutest..we loved it..we have 2 older dogs and they welcomed us. Nicest lady at the desk. We didn't charge us a pet fee..I wish all motels were this nice to customers

I pulled off I-90 when it was about to be closed during a January snow storm. I was only 3 -1/2 hours from home. Could have stayed closer to the interstate exit, but knew I'd pay premium for that. Just a little way into town, found this motel with vacancy. $70 and that included my dog. A typical older motel with carpeting and paneling, but clean bathroom and bed, and free internet. I ended up staying another night since the interstate glazed over, schools had been cancelled, and I could work from my motel room. $50 for the second night. If you're traveling and just need a place to sleep, this is well worth it.

This place has a perfect name. The rooms are small but they have everything you could need in a room. Bathrooms have plenty of space and the lady that runs the place is all business. I enjoyed my stay very much and the price was phenomenal. Can't get a better value anywhere!

Very nice people. She grows awesome flowers and shares or at least she did with me. And the lights at x mas are cool. But clean rooms, reasonable price. I enjoyed my time there.

This is a really old classic motel. When you enter the room you enter late 70s. You think that a motel for 50 dollars/night will be bad, well this one is not bad at all. You'll get nice and clean room, couple of towels, a TV with lots of channels and a free Wi-Fi. I really recommend anyone who passes this city and wants to stay for a night to come here. I wish there were more motels like this.
