Beautiful drive to Wild Country Maple. We decided to go there because we'd had their caramels at the Northshore Winery and just had to bring some home! When we arrived, we found the cutest store ever! We got not just caramels, but also delicious bourbon barrel maple syrup and wild rice. I hope to be able to come again!!

My husband and I decided to check out this beautiful spot today and we are so grateful we did!! Not only did we get a personal and fascinating tour and learn all about their amazing process of tree tapping and syrup making… but we also were able to sample a wide variety of delicious flavors and variations of syrup! It was such a special and memorable experience and we can’t wait to visit again soon!

This shop is a ways off of highway 61, but you can tell that a lot of hard work and love is put into their products! The store works on the honor system at times, so there are wasn't anyone working in the store when we visited. You can pay by check, cash, or credit (via a phone app). The syrups are delicious and it was neat to see all the tubing on the maple trees as we drove through the forest. I wish we could have met their dog Arlo, but definitely a neat local company making delicious products!

What a hidden gem! I am a sucker for natural maple syrup and my wife and I were pleased to stumble across this on google maps. It’s a little drive off the main road but definitely worth it. Don’t let the dirt roads scare you. This establishment does operate on an honor system when the owner is not present. They have a Venmo option or cash box so pay for what you take. Prices are posted. Oh and the products… delicious! They also sell pancake mix that is incredible.

This is the most darling place ever. The dog that greets you is the biggest sweetheart. The shop is adorable, and the products taste wonderful! So glad I found it. I see myself making yearly trips here.

Small business in the countryside. Don't be discouraged by the gravel road to get to Wild Country Maple Products, slow down and enjoy the adventure.Products sold on the honor system if nobody is around. Cash and credit card accepted.

The best Syrup you can buy in the state of MN. The tour of the processing barn and bottling building was great also. Amazing drive in to the property is an added experience just to get the Syrup.

Off the beaten path, but one of our favorite stops in all the North Shore! Super cool old building, and they even had syrup to sample. Their prices are well below all the stores that carry their brand.

My Husband and my family and I used to go to Lutsen atleast 2~3 times a year. We actually started on our Honeymoon 21yrs ago and Always came home with 2 gals, several bottles of Syrup and they'd throw in candy for the kids. Then it was just my Husband and me as our kids got older and onward. When we went to Wild Country this last time, 5 Long Year's ago, these Folks there now had just purchased it not long before. We haven't been able to go since due to health issues. However I am getting well enough for us to start planning. We Love Wild Country Incredibly So and the New Owners were Amazing to us!! So Very Friendly! We have talked to So many people about this place and Continue to do so. I just ordered a couple of bottles from them ,can't wait till they arrive!! Best food in the world is Syrup from Wild Country, oh with Pancakes, French Toast and Waffles! AND in banana bread when I make it 🍞!! Love It!!

Great place, got a tour from the owner which was really cool. They accept venmo which was super easy. The road is a bit bumpy to get there though.

We LOVE Wild Country Maple syrup! Best ever syrup and definitely worth the less than 10 mile drive from Lake Superior’s North Shore/downtown Lutsen.

I drove out to buy supplies for several holiday gift boxes, but the shop was dark and nobody was around. My fault really, I should have called ahead, but the website hours indicated the shop was open so I set off. I also encountered a large logging truck on the narrow lane, he expertly navigated around me as I pulled over and stopped as far to the edge of the road as I could. All around I felt like I was intruding even though the shop is public with prominent signage welcoming people off the main road. Despite this disappointing experience I am still rating five stars, due to my love of their products and the fact that I should have taken the extra time and called to ensure they would be open during this offseason Tuesday in November. In any case it was a beautiful drive up Caribou Trail.

Extremely quaint log cabin back-in-the-woods maple syrup store. Also sells carmels, pancake mix, honey, and branded merchandise. All organic. Located 8 miles up the Caribou Trail off Hwy 61 just north of Lutsen. Signs on the route to the store endure visitors can find it.

DRive down a forest lined road you'll see the tubing used to capture the maple and at the end of the road is the production building and the little self serve store to purchase the end product. Great teaching opportunities for familiesHad a chance to talk to owner and he gave us great insight to all it takes to make maple syrup!! Over a mile of tubing is weaved throughout land. The syrup we bought was produced just a few months ago.

Went there on a trip to see fall colors. We followed signs just for the kick of it. When we got there we were surprised at the size of the family-owned company (350 acres, 25,000 taps of maple trees) and how friendly the people were. They gave us a great tour and seem to really enjoy what they do.

How they make it is pretty cool and their is nothing more real than their syrup. My favorite is the one with a hint of bourbon. Go any day and you will get a quick tour they sell it at their location and being sold in many other stores.

A beautiful drive to get there. The owner spent time describing the various maple syrups. We met and pet the dogs that are on their labels. The syrup is fantastic.

We came upon this while looking for a lake to fish. It’s a cute little store in the woods, bought a 32oz bottle maple syrup with great price. Glad we made the decision to stop.

Highly recommend checking out if you're in the area. The syrups and caramels are all delicious. If you're lucky, you'll get to tour the facility and try the different types of syrups they have available.
