Super cute winery with plenty of space and things to see, like art on the grounds outside and the whole inside is really cool too. They provide plates/knives/napkins if you buy a snack to go with your drinks. We used the Bluefin Bay resort shuttle service by signing up for it, check to see if your lodgings provide a ride so you can get day drunk.

We really enjoyed our cider flights. The prices and flavors were just right. We enjoyed having drinks made with local fruit. The environment is nice and the option of sitting outdoors with blankets, heaters and fires is inviting and we hope to do that next time. I appreciated that they had some vegan snack options (crackers and olives) as well.

We came here to celebrate our friend’s bachelorette party. The employees took such great care of us and especially catered to the bride, which we appreciated. I can tell they value good customer service. The wine was also delish. We enjoyed snacking on reasonably priced cheese and meat and crackers with our wine flights. Definitely check this place out if you are up in Lutsen!! ❤️Special emphasis on Jay (owner?) for taking good care of us.

It's exactly what you would want when you go to a winery. Good wine and ciders. Lots of seating and cozy places to sit and enjoy your wine and company. They also have live music and lots of parking. It was also just a short walk from the place we were staying, if you don't want to drive. We visited several times during our stay.

Such a fun spot! We were staying nearby and wanted to try North Shore Winery and were not disappointed. The cider and premium wine flights were great! Plus they had music on the night we were there. Just to note that they don’t have any legit food, just packaged cheese and meats.

Awesome vibe totally fits the area complimented by unique indoor and outdoor seating areas. The Sawtooth Mountain Cider was definitely our favorite to sample with Herbie’s Blend getting the top vote. They also have flavorful wines with their own unique blends. Recommended for a visit and/or grab some to enjoy later.

A very nice late afternoon sit-down, wine sipping experience. Went July 4th evening at around 6 pm. Great outdoor seating, very rustic. Went with my sister and mom. My sister tried their ciders, mom their white wines, and I tried their reds. Their wines are pretty spectacular--the high acidity marquette, the shiraz, their Rock of Ages blend are all fantastic. One of their employees gave me a very brief tour of the indoor space, which is really cool (see photo below) and I got a chance to talk with him and another staff member about all sorts of wines we liked and disliked. Ended up buying a bottle of their marquette! Their reservation system is really simple, too. I hope I get a chance to try it out again one day!

Excellent selection! They have something for everyone and the vibe was great. Lots of outdoor seating including fire pits, blankets, and propane heater stands for winter delight!

We are loving this experience. We are new wine connoisseurs. And have each ordered the "tastings", 5 wines for $8. We have two favorites; the petit sirah and the lutsen. We are "porching" in the sun gazing at Superior. Happy hour cheese, and a meat and cracker platter made the tasting experience complete. I hope when you swing by Kristine is behind the bar. The power on the mountain is being shut off today. 30 minutes before the power outage Moguls would not serve us but the winery had no problem. Now the place is hoping with chatty people.

Cool place to do a tasting or have a drink of wine on the North Shore. They have a good selection of reds, whites, and ciders. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable (even to buy a bottle). Outdoor seating is available and there is plenty of parking.

Amazing winery! We called on our way back to bluefin from grand marais hoping to get in on a Friday. Pat got a table ready for us inside despite reservations mostly being online (and it was raining). I tried the mixed flight — all were so good!! Rest of the group had Chardonnay and loved it. Not a wine connesieur but have been to a few in MN and this hands down was the best I’ve been to 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Friendly staff, got a short personalized "tour" by the young man at the counter who took the time to explain the markings on the barrels. Really cute sitting area, well decorated but not overdone - simple Northwoods vibe. Exactly what you'd hope for when visiting the North Shore!!! We will be back!

Visited today with my husband, our two daughters (ages 12 and 10 months) and our dog. Sat outside and listened to live music. What a gem! Customer service was outstanding and staff was so kind to us and our kiddos. The atmosphere can’t be beat, wine is delicious, and prices are surprisingly affordable for the north shore. This wasn’t our first visit and we always love it here - highly recommend and consider a “must stop” every time we come up north.

We recently had our rehearsal dinner at the winery and it was amazing! They not only took care of us day of but had great communication leading up to the event. They were already a 'must stop' when we visited the North Shore and now they are forever in our hearts as a favorite. Please give them a visit!

Nice setting. Some good wines. My dismay was in the billing. We ordered flights and I paid and added a tip. Little did I know they did not bring the flight to us. We had to go get it. What was the tip for? And carrying flights can be a little dangerous walking around others especially for seniors. One of the workers was walking around wiping tables that looked like he was mad at the world. Wines are pricey. We made a good time of it but wouldn't go back.

Wonderful wine, pleasant people! We were staying at our vacation rental in Aspenwood down the road & visited the winery 45 mins before closing, with the only customers left just leaving. Mary & Jeremy were very welcoming and threw logs on the bonfire for us to enjoy our wine outside. We tasted a flight of the reds-the Zinfandel was my favorite, my husband’s was the Petit Shyrah. Before closing up, they gave us a tour of the winery and some history of Lutsen, treating us like you would family or close friends. They have a set up in the back for hosting small gatherings-bridal showers, birthdays, etc. We purchased 3 bottles of wine, which made the tasting free and included a wine glass. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend to others.

We happened to be here during their annual harvest festival. There wasn’t as much going on as I thought there would be as far as activities, but it was a really festive, chill atmosphere. They have a great tasting option on the menu, a few of the wines were quite remarkable. I definitely went away with a few souvenirs!

I never thought that after a day of skiing 🎿 in Minnesota that I’d want to recharge by sitting outside for a few more hours until I came to North Shore Winery. Their mulled 🍷 wine and solo stoves 🔥 were the perfect combo for taking stock of our day while soaking up the last bits of sunlight before the stars came out. Their branded apparel rack even inspired me to add one of their hats 🎩 to my collection! Can’t wait to get back to Lutsen and spend more time here.

Very nice space with a larger selection that I was expecting. I didn't have time to learn more about the place and the origins of their selection but when in this area, I think this is a nice stop.
