Our first fishing trip here but it will not be our last. The Loren's are wonderful hosts. Our cabin was clean and cozy. Our boat was docked just a few steps from our cabin. We had campfires every night and fished every day. Highly recommend staying at Little Boy Resort.Nearby activities: Longville is a fun little town. Casino is a short drive away.Food & drinks: The on site bar was so pretty. Great food.

This was our first time at Little Boy Resort, and wow are we impressed!!The resort as a whole is well maintained, many free perks like a basketball court, kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets, a game room, park, and more. For a minimal weekly fee they have access to an AWESOME gym with both cardio and muscle building equipment. This was a great surprise for us.We stayed in one of the new suites and it was perfect, with my only wish being for a little more space to store clothing. Maybe a built-in or a dresser would help, but it worked and didn’t take away from our trip at all.The owners and their family members/staff are so welcoming and top notch when it comes to customer service. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived.Our family will 100% be staying here again, and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a fun place to stay when going “up north”.

Thank you for a very Enjoyable weekend . The upgrade in cabin was quite a surprise and much appreciated. My husband Loves coming up here. I asked him "What makes this lake/resort so special to him"? He said the resort owners and guests. Resort and cabins are always very clean and well kept. Troy and Nancy are Outstanding hosts and go above and beyond to make sure all their guests' needs are met. We are planning another trip next year with our kids/grand kids. THANK YOU again for a fabulous weekend and making it so Enjoyable.

Little Boy Resort was everything we wanted and needed it to be! Our large family (seven children, two adults) felt welcome and comfortable. Everyone had their own space to move around, which was awesome! The privacy of Bears Den cabin was exactly what we were looking for (clean, equipped with everything we needed, and comfortable) and the shared spaces and activities of the campground were a great way to spend some time and energy.We appreciated the opportunity to rent a pontoon for a couple of days and enjoyed fishing and exploring the lake.We returned home well-rested and happy.This was a great trip!

We had a blast! The kids loved it and had so much fun at the beach (which is very nice) and all the toys there, they were well entertained. The atmosphere was perfect, everyone was so friendly! The shower rooms were very nice and clean, the store right on the resort was convenient. The owners were awesome, they even lent us a hose (which we did not bring) to hook up water to our camper. Definately looking forward to visiting again!

We stayed in a tent in spot #8. Incoming severe weather started, and our spot flooded. The staff was so kind, they opened the lodge for us after hours to allow us safety from the storm and brought me and my girls a pitcher of ice water while we waited. The playground was only a rainbow playset, which I usually overlook when trying to select a campground for our kids, but given that our spot was basically ON the beach I couldn't resist. Even though it was 3 hours away from my home, we are intending to go again next year. Thanks Little Boy Resort!

Our campsite backed up to the lake and it was beautiful! The loons sang us to sleep every nite and woke us in the morning. The beach was great and I especially liked that there were lounge chairs and they could be moved to the shade. It was very sunny, warm weather, perfect for the lake. There were a few details overlooked about our stay until we checked out but nothing major. Very nice resort and staff !!

Troy and Nancy have worked hard to build up and run a great resort! We brought our annual family fishing trip to Little Boy Resort for the first time this year and were very pleased with our stay. They have everything needed to accommodate fishing, camping and summer fun. We were able to enjoy the lake, buy the essentials on site and find the fish easily. Our family is excited to go again next year!

This was my first visit to the lake and resort. I do an annual trip to MN with the guys. This was our 37th year and it did not disappoint. We have already re-booked for June 2021, and maybe a trip in May with my wife. Troy and Nancy are super people who have years of experience at owning and running the resort. A lot of hard work is put in to keep the grounds and cabins in excellent condition. We loved our cabin, and the whole experience. It was a very relaxing week (much needed) in a period of time like we have never seen. It was great to get away from all of that for a week. I highly recommend the resort to anyone who enjoys the the relaxing lake life that MN has to offer. With all that said it's only 45 weeks and a day before we return, but who's counting.

Great resort! We have been going here for many years now! We started out camping and have now been renting the Loons Nest cabin every year. We always enjoy our time at the resort. We really like using the paddle boat, kayaks and water bikes(which are all included with your stay.) Stay are very friendly and accomodating. Highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a getaway!

We adore Nancy & Troy they provided us a place to live for the winter while we had personal business here in northern Minnesota. They have kept our drive at the cabin clear of snow and been just a phone call/text away for any other questions or needs.We are thankful to have met two wonderful people up here and consider them friends. They make you feel that way - like you're just one of their friends. It's a nice feeling when you are here and know very few people.

Great resort with great hosts! It was my husband and I but it would also be great for families. They had a nice, small sand beach and LOTS of toys. They offer paddle boards and boats for free, they have boat rentals, and the restrooms are CLEAN. It was very quiet during the week and I got to enjoy working from their lakeside deck on their wifi with no interruptions. The lake is beautiful and had excellent fishing! Great family spot to check out in northern Minnesota.

Day visitor to registered guests. We were visiting in cabin 'Loons Nest'. The grounds were well kept and the cabins were clean. The view of the lake is beautiful. Having been to Little Boy Resort many times since a child (40+ years), I always had a good time and the family atmosphere was always the best part.

This is probably the cleanest cabin I've ever stayed at! Even when they let you bring your beloved dog. Great lake, great hosts. I'll definitely go back.

Best resort in Minnesota! Owners troy and nancy are more than resort owners. After 14 years of coming here, they are also friends. Lots of free amenities for everyone, canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, fantastic swimming area, etc. You wont find a better place or better people !

Love it so far and love the lake!! People are super nice too. Been going here for 5 years, loved it so much we have a seasonal spot here. The new Tavern and food there is fantastic!!

This resort has a wonderful soft sandy beach area and lots of water sports available to all guests or all ages. Water and electricity at every site, free cut your own wood. Only downfall is the dated bathrooms and showers otherwise it would be 5 stars.
