Harvest Moon was convenient but this is so much better. They have a wide selection and friendly staff. They have better produce than other local grocery stores. This is the perfect neighborhood grocery store.

What an identity crisis… expected more organic/specialty, which the assortment had 10% organic and 90% junk/mainstream foods. Not from Orono, but if I was I’d have to drive 20 minutes for a Whole Foods, which is more up the alley of who lives in this area.

It's a cute local markets. Lots of choices from fresh produce to choose from. It's a smaller store so they might not have as many options as a big grocery store would but it's fine for a couple of things that you need if you don't want to leave your neighborhood.

I have a service dog, and one of the employees followed me near the deli food like he was thinking I was going to give my dog human food. If I want, I could sue them.

Great spot! Food shopping options are really limited in this area, typically I have to drive to Wayzata. It's not a huge grocery store but they have plenty of offerings and the hot bar is great for getting something on-the-go.

We are soooooo glad Orono Market took over the harvest moon space. My husband and I have both lived out here our whole lives, and really appreciated the convenience of having a grocery store nearby, but harvest moon definitely left something to be desired. Now, selection has improved tenfold, the produce is always fresh now, and they have an amazing hot bar for lunch & dinner.

Great local shop! Always friendly staff, and great quality products, with an emphasis on the local and Organic. For those who are conscious about what they put in their body, this is a great spot! The Deli is delicious, and variety is generally good. I am sad to see the selection has been depleting, but I keep going in hopes that they will bring things back, like their fresh Bison steaks and burgers. I am ever impressed by their Vegan and Vegetarian options as well which helps both for a healthy variety of food, but also when you have guests with food restrictions.I would say the two things that I miss most is their old health & wellness area which is rather depleted, and the bulk food items, as it was a personal goal of mine to use less waste and put less in landfills.If the selection and variety hadn't gone down, this would be a solid 5 stars! And once it returns, I will come edit my review. But I understand this may have made the most business sense for the time being. But I know it has made me stop going out of my way as often, and generally pushed me to use closer grocers.

I LOVE this store. It's amazing. It can be hard in Minnesota to find ways to support local farmers and locally grown produce due to the harsher weather here, and harvest moon typically has several options available. They also have a killer cafe and buffet. It's a lovely place with a varied selection. This isn't a place I would go for the "big grocery" run, but that's part of its charm.

I love this place. Situated in Long Lake. It has the freshest produce and a great collection of healthy items. The kombucha is absolutely wonderful. Great staff and a clean location. Prices can be a little high but I definitely feel you get what you pay for when it comes to Harvest Moon. You can't put a price on your nutrition. We feel a few dollars more invested in our health is the best investment we can make.

I don’t recommend if you’re looking for Organic groceries. Honestly they should take that off their sign bc it’s false advertising. I expect at least a whole section of organic produce and pantry items. But they barely even have the basics. They have like small 2 ft shelf in their produce section that’s for organic food. Honestly really disappointing. They should either get more organic options or take that off their sign because it’s misleading. Cub foods or Walmart have more organic options than them.

Really lovely place. Been shopping there on and off for a couple of years (we had moved out of the area for a while). It's great to see how things have become more like a co-op than in the past: the natural and organic select is great, supplements and body care section are pretty expansive given the size of the store, which is smaller than other natural foods stores in the west metro. Their deli had a good hot/cold bar the last time we were there, which was a Saturday. It was mildly busy and when the only two open cashier lanes got long they opened another register. Not a long wait at all. We stayed and ate in the cafe area. Prices are what you'd expect and I cross-checked some dry goods with Amazon while there and found the pricing competitive. I spent more than a few years working for whole foods market and another co-op that shall remain nameless, and I really liked how this place felt like a small town grocery store yet had the selection and pricing I was looking for. Everyone was friendly and the place was clean, too!

So glad we again have a wonderful grocery in Long Lake. My kids and I stopped by today and loved the new SKUs. Raspberry milk blew their minds haha. We loved Harvest Moon and hope to visit Orono Market regularly. A few requests from my kids that Harvest Moon carried: Against The Grain GF pizza, Canyon Bakehouse GF bread (Udi's is bad), frozen GF donuts (Katz or Kinnikinnick). Thanks!

I go here weekly for their hot bar. They have a great selection for breakfast and yummy coffee. Lunch bar always has great options and a variety of soup. My kids love coming with to find the orange moose hiding in the store.

Customer friendly service. Good selection of items in the hot food bar and salad bar. My great niece can be a picky eater. She loved the roasted chicken. Delicious soups as well.

Amazing local Co-op, great fresh food and produce. I can't say enough how impressed I am each time I walk through the doors. Friendly staff, and great Organic, and Local foods. I try to do all my grocery shopping there. Cheaper than local chains, but better product!

The new Orono Market is a great little store, the Harvest Moon was a goofy store with everything natural under the sun.However, now they seem to have everything I've ever needed. A great spot for groceries!

Always a place that I love entering. The entire place smells and feels fresh. There is always a friendly face to ask questions to. In their natural medicine section there is almost always something their to guide me to the type of product I'm looking for. I have never regreter a penny spent there.

I go there for the salad bar at lunch. It's a small co-OP that seems a bit tired but I do like the healthy selections. One gripe I have is that the spinach and salad are often very wilted in the salad bar. For a heathly place they need to fix that. The food should be fresh....all the time.
