Called this morning with a snow blower problem, I showed up and Don was able to help me out and everything was fixed in 10min or less. The team on the phone was super helpful and the staff on-site were wonderful and helpful.

Great trouble shooting from the staff! Help ideas on stopping water from my front entry way!Foam rope silicon and bags of play sand. For the win!Then a few days later I repurposed the sand to a side trail in the yard that was getting muddy! Win win!

I took advantage of the buy one, get one sale on the hanging baskets for Mother's Day. Mark helped answer my questions and I was able to find the perfect hanging baskets for my front deck. I'm looking forward to enjoying these all summer. I also stopped in the store for some soil for my indoor plants. The guys inside helped me locate what I was looking for and I found a planter to boot. Thank you, Mark and the Gopher Ace Team!

Really great service at this store! The ladies over the phone were very friendly and were able to answer my questions. My Weber grill arrived assembled and ready to go - it was so nice to not have to put it together! The delivery driver was also very friendly. They even sent me a thank you card a few days later for purchasing the grill. My only piece of feedback would be to provide a delivery confirmation atleast a day prior to the estimated delivery date. I called because I wasn’t sure if my grill would be arriving on the day quoted from the website. But, I was able to get an answer over the phone. Thank you all!

Purchased a back pack leaf blower for in-store pick up. Was given the wrong blower only to be notified later the same day I needed to return it. Returned the incorrect blower the next day. Received the correct blower but went to use it and the blower tube fails to stay attached. Ace in long lake has informed me that any online purchases are not eligible for in store return. And that those returns need to be dealt with directly with Ace.com. After spending $400+ dollars and making two separate trips due to the stores mistake, I am told I will have to fix the blower myself or deal with Ace.com. Very disappointing, not even a single apology for the inconvenience. Glad people have came so removed from humanity that spending $400 plus doesn’t get you any kind of customer service.So if you buy Online, you deal with Ace.com. However, if I happened to walk in off the street and have bought the same unit, I could bring it in for in-store return depending on the scenario… very dumb policy.Adding on to reply to the owners response. I have been to your store twice now, your staff showed clear signs of incompetence by giving me the wrong blower and then when I called about the blower tube, your employee couldn’t even answer my question as how to fix it. Again no one once even apologized for this inconvenience, not even yourself as the owner.And I’m very interested in your accusation about me returning the first blower damaged…it was put in my vehicle, and not removed from my vehicle until I returned it…unless you sell all your blowers damaged?? That would explain the damage you claim. Again, very poor customer service.

Great service. The staff was very helpful and I was mostly able to find everything I needed except for a single 7mm hex socket, they only sold them in packs. Everyone was also wearing their mask properly which was a big plus.

We purchased a Traeger the Friday after thanksgiving and it was delivered to our house, assembled, the very next day! What was even more impressive to me was the follow up of their hand written thank you note letting us know they are there if we have any questions with the grill. Although this isn’t the closest hardware store to us, we will go out of our way for future purchases!

Super friendly staff that are great with helping you find whatever you need. Very much a small town hardware store feel to this place. It's very easy to stop by and grab whatever you need and be in and put very quick. Will always choose this over home depot for the convenience and helpful staff.

Purchased something from a different ace location that all ace stores stock, When I drove there to return the defective item that i got from a different ace store. The lady at this store told me "we can't return it here because we don't stock this item at this location". Which is not true because they do have it and the website shows its available at every ace location. This just happens to be my local one.. But that's not all, after going back and forth, she told me she needs to make a quick call to the boss to see if he is "OK with returning it", She gets on the phone and make me wait around while she explains to her boss what's going on, and have a conversation while I am waiting around, and I can hear from her side of the conversation that they won't return it, and that I have to go back to the location I got it from. she continues the phone call with out giving me a quick answer and at this point I am getting very frustrated, so I asked her "is it a yes or no because I am on a time crunch", especially if i still need to drive to a whole other ace store 20 minutes away. And the answer was... you guessed it... NO!!. Now I was frustrated when I wrote this review and was probably going to take it down. Till the owner responded to my review telling me "that's not what happened, and you left the review under the wrong location"(it was supposed to be this one) and that I left before I got an answer when I was clearly told many times that I have to go to the location I got it from.I have never written a bad review in my life. But this situation was very frustrating , having to drive all over town and spend time at stores that sold me something defective. And the owner response to my first bad review made it worse. And since you will be reading this, I will take down the other review from the other location, because it had nothing to do with this. But weather this one will stay or not is up to you sir.

Fantastic customer service! Mark the owner helped me find exactly what I needed and even had it delivered! This is why I like to shop local businesses, you just don't get this kind of wonderful customer service from the big box stores.1000% recommend this place!

I'm way overdue for this review, but here we go! I ordered a new grill, and aside from ME not reading the fine print when ordering online (saying exactly that because of COVID the grill would be dropped in front of my house and there would be no contact), everything was great! I only laugh at it, because I sat around waiting for a delivery, to go outside my house and find the grill sitting there. I figure I missed a knock on the door at some point, by that's on me! I was most impressed by the handwritten Thank You note that I got. I have an Ace much closer to me, but I've been driving an extra 10 mins to come here, because the customer service has always been great. Keep up the good work!

Recently became an Ace Hardware from TrueValue to add more product. The staff is very friendly and the store is clean and in a convenient location. Truly a neighborhood hardware store but with a robust selection. It's true, the prices can at times be higher than the big box stores but you don't get the service you would get here. I've been here many times under both TrueValue and now Ace and I can tell you that if you come in with a problem they'll spend the time with you to find the right solution. I also feel better supporting a local family. I highly recommend. The also sell bait! And flowers in the Spring. Can't beat it!

Disappointed. Ordered something a few days ago for local delivery. Nothing showed up today and I had to call to find out they they were not delivering it and if I wanted it I had to go pick it up. At least I should receive a phone call or email to tell me they would not deliver it.

I always like to support our local merchants especially when I know I can find what I am looking for or the sales people will know how to solve my problem. I needed a specific type of hose clamp for an alternate use -- no problem! The Ace people knew just what I needed. This store has recently rebranded itself, but the staff is the same.

I found what I was looking for. I Was brousing and found its the most expensive hardware store I've ever been in. simple plastic storage organizers that usually couple bucks at most stores were $5. Or more. A small whisk was $7.. Just a few examples. Plastic tool box $36. Omg! Out rages....
