Looking for a groomer?! Look no further, Central Paws is simply the best and by a landslide. I’ve seen MANY groomers in my lifetime and would go nowhere else. This salon has very few other doggos in the salon at one time so it’s a very private, individualized salon experience. I personally see Angel and have followed her from her previous salon to this one and it worth the drive!! I have a 11 year old cocker with very long, beautiful fur and it stays that way because of Angel. She is also a very nervous and at times skiddish puppy and this salon caters to that much needed care. Angel is so caring of my best friend that every time I leave feeling she loves my Ruby as much as I do. The owner of the salon is great too! I can tell these two ladies really have a special bond and business. If I could give 10 stars I would but the max is 5!! Trust me they’re the BEST!!

Jody is hands down the best groomer around! I’ve been taking my dogs to her for the better part of a decade. She’s so patient and loving to them, and meticulous with her grooming. I’m never disappointed. Highly recommend!

Vendor Rave!!!! Once again Jody has done a incredible job with my Maltese Enzo. He is so nervous now with clippers because of all of the experiences he’s had over the last four months (he has had surgery and treatment for a liver shunt over at the University). Every time a clipper has come out, someone has taken blood, or placed an IV. Jody takes the extra time to talk him through, to keep him calm, and to help him build that confidence again. AND she talks to me about it so that *I* can help him at home so that the next time is less traumatic for him. There is a reason that she is the only groomer to ever lay hands on my dogs.She has opened her own grooming salon, out in Long Lake. It’s fantastic! I cannot recommend her enough. I know several other people will back me up on this as well. It took me only 23 minutes to get there from Richfield, so don’t let the address throw you off. She, and your dog, are worth it.Check her out!

This one of THEE best groomers we have experienced. They are kind and loving to our fur babies. They are very knowledgeable and understanding of each animals needs/ special requirements. All staff are kind, caring, and very considerate of what type of service/ style your pet is in need of. Great communication and excellent service. Our dog was very timid of prior groomers and Central Paws made it a safe and calming environment to get pampered at. 10/10 recommended.

My dog Ruby loves going here for grooming! Each time we've gone she gets so excited when we arrive. Their prices are great and service is excellent. When we pick Ruby up she is sleek, shiny, and super soft, with nice trim nails! I also appreciate how easy it is to schedule an appt, as groomers nearer to the cities seem to book out weeks in advance and that isn't possible to do with my families schedule. I highly recommend this groomer to anyone!

Our pup, Wrigley, had a wonderful experience at Central Paws! He was greeted warmly by his groomer, Angel. Angel took the time to obtain info needed about our quirky dog and handled him professionally and knowledgeably.The shop was clean, friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and well maintained. If Long Lake seems a little out of the way, totally worth the drive; great grooming experience and a quaint downtown.Check it out! Your pup will thank you 💕

Central Paws rocks! The newest groomer Angel at Central Paws previously worked in Roseville MN where for years I'd take my two elderly Cockapoos to have groomed. My sweet old boys are now 15 and 14 and Angel has always been simply amazing with them. Caring, thoughtful, and gentle. City of Long Lake you are very fortunate. When recently revisiting Central Paws I have come to understand this establishment has an enormously talented staff, maybe best in the Twin Cities/Metro area. But more than talent, more importantly, they ALWAYS, ALWAYS, have my pets well being at heart and in mind. Unlike other salons this wonderful salon cares greatly about our pets, and not the profits! So while now I have to travel a greater distance to get my boys beautifully groomed I have peace of mind knowing that they are always in caring hands. The Central Paws ownership and staff should be extremely proud of their new business endeavor and adventure. Long Lake you lucky dog! Actually, now I think they should rename the store to 'Long Lake you Lucky Dog!'

Brought my senior Brussels Griffon to Central Paws. I just can't say what a wonderful job Jodi did grooming! Total confidence which really put me at ease. Now the cut, unbelievable job! It's the best he's looked in years! She bathed him which I was nervous about due to his pushed in face but, she's has a lot of experience and it showed! I would highly recommend Central Paws for your dog. Price was really reasonable as well and she offers alot of Ala cart stuff too. So nice to find a awesome groomer! Thanks again

Jody does a fantastic job on my elderly Brussels Griffon, she can bathe him without the problems I've had in the past with less experienced groomers. I can without hesitation recommend Central Paws, very friendly experienced staff.

I have been a client of Angel Hansen for years. she is so loving and attentive to my senior poodle Shiloh. Centra Paws to the rescue. After a three year search I finally found someone in the Twin Cities who would tackle the job of hand stripping my Border Terrier, Stitch. The staff is kind and patient with my pup and I’m always pleased with her appearance when I come to pick her up.The staff is accommodating and helpful when my schedule changes and keeps me well informed about Stitch’s next appointment.Don’t hesitate to give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.
