We bought an Ace hose and spray head last fall and it would leak where they attached . Ace has a life time warranty , so we went to exchange them , The New worker (2 days) was helpful and nice but needed to get the manager. He was just as great to work with and he swapped both items out and my wife is very happy ( no more leaking ) . Buy local you will never go wrong .

I'm a local Handyman and I have 3 hardware stores to choose from. Ace is always my first go too ! They have everything I need and are very courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. If you are in the area and need some stuff from the hardware store I highly recommend the friendly folks at Ace Hardware

I ordered my brother a new AC as his went on the fritz, to hot not to have, I am in Superior WI so I ordered it on line so he could PU in LF, went great John at Ace even called me that the unit was ready to PU, great service I would order there again, it's Little Falls great people come out of there! Ace is pretty decent. The price is high for the products provided. Just get used to the 10-20% more on the sticker price though, and you can find most things you'll need for home projects.

They are open late and on Sundays, which is when I as a contractor work on my own stuff so that's nice. Decent selection. Staff however isn't as knowledgeable as some hardware stores in town, though the manager is very knowledgeable. But to be fair most hardware stores lack knowledgeable staff. I think that's common across most business at this point. It's rare to find it in most business interactions I find. That's more of a "time in which we live" thing than any fault of Ace.

I called there for a hard to find item and this was the first store that gave a nice greeting of "Good Morning" and stated the name of the store and told me "Welcome" and "Good bye" before hanging up on me. The other stores I called just hung up on me without saying good bye. Very friendly positive upbeat customer service.

I went there to get a chainsaw & an ms251 wasn't on the shelf so I asked the associate named Mike if there was 1 in back. He came out with a 251c, which costs $50 more. I told him I wanted a 251. He said they were out but he would order 1 & it would be there in 2 days & they would call me. 2 days later I called to check & the guy that answered sounded like he was high and he was combative. He said call back tomorrow & ask mike. Today I called & Mike said it wasn't there & he didn't know when it would get there in a tone that sounded like HE was annoyed. Their customer service skills leave much to be desired. I think I'm going to buy 1 somewhere else.

It's handy to have a good hardware store in a small town. But you do pay three times as much for the same fitting as you would at Menards. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.
