Absolutely terrible grocery store. Don't shop here period. The prices are ridiculously overpriced compared to the competition just down the road. Even on a 3 for 2 deal, I would've only saved $2 if I bought them full price elsewhere.If you go here on a normal trip, you'll be spending $20 more for no good reason guaranteed. Their savings ads are a lie and it'll be a good day for local business when this one goes under, then we'll get a legitimately affordable shop.

Just when you thought customer service was non-existent, along comes Justin the assistant director (manager) at Family Fare in Litchfield, MN. Justin is a super kind and understanding individual, with customer service skills that go above and beyond.His willingness to satisfy and help the customer is beyond reproach. I had a circumstance that needed intervention and Justin really stepped up to the plate and showed his kindness and expertise in pleasing the customer. 😃I'm not a big fan of people anymore but Justin has renewed my faith in humanity. Thank you Justin don't ever change you're awesome. Thank You, Scott

I've lived in 15 states in my time. And I've experienced a wide variety of grocery stores. This one was a new one for me. Staff is nice, store is very clean. Good offer of meats. But I have to admit, I miss the the robust thriving grocery store back in Arizona. They have alot of healthier options as far as brands and I have found that very lacking overall in the Litchfield area. But, Family fare gets the job done for the most part.

I pretty much only use the pharmacy for my meds. I love their system. They send out texts when my meds are filled. I don't even have to call in for refills! They are great! Their grocery store is good too. Sometimes I can find things there that I can't find anywhere else.

I've noticed the food quality going down at the deli for hot lunch choices. Today I was out and about at 11:30am I was like hey I'll swing by family fare the food should be pretty fresh since it's before lunch. Got chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese. They were the driest chicken tenders I've ever had in my life. Like chewing leather. I asked the counter lady when were these chicken tenders made and she said 10:00 a.m. So I guess if you want fresh food for lunch at family fare you need to go there at 10:00 a.m.. I told her that they were the driest chicken tenders I've ever had and she just shrugged her shoulders and didn't offer to fix the problem or offer me anything else. So I won't be going back

Love Family Fare! Do my shopping exclusively there. When they ran out of a product that I had been purchasing consistently, the produce man arranged for me to get a special order whenever I required it. And produce is awesome! Always fresh, lasting long after I get it in my refrigerator. Recommend your store to anyone! They have great Personnel who are kind and accommodating to my needs as I am disabled. I love the pick up Fast Lane service. Only thing I wish they could improve on is that the service would allow me to use my EBT card.Today, my cashier, who's line was empty, came out & brought me to her register. She helped me unload my items, then quickly checked me out & reloaded my electric cart. Everyone was very kind & helpful! I highly recommend Family Fare!

This store has been the standard bearer in the small town that I live in since we moved here in 1998. Yeah it's changed hands several times over the years but only because the company that owns it has been bought out by larger grocery chains. That hasn't stopped this store from consistently doing a fine job in all aspects of their day to day business. If more stores were run like this store is the whole chain would be much improved.

Prices have gotten very high. Its like they have raised all regular prices .Wanted 12 dollars for deli tips and gravy already in the day old cooler. Tired of the buy 5 or 10 to get sale price. I don't need 10. I only want 1 or 2 bags of cheese. Price gouging ! Wished I would of went to walmart

I don't care much for this grocery. Generally they have most of the items we want, but when they are out of an item it may feel like an eternity to restock it. Like blue raspberry Kool aid or cake mixes. Produce dept. Is just ok, not very fresh in my opinion. This is the only grocery in town, other than Walmart.

Food is fine here. Now if you want a job here, RUN. Store director is never actually at the store to help his employees, he doesn’t appreciate his employees, and doesn’t know how to run a store. One of the worst managers I’ve came across.

If you shop around this store can be an asset. It's clean and has a lot of things the others don't. Some things are outrageously priced but other things are cheaper than others. Great hours and not the headache it is when you need one item and don't want to run the gauntlet that is Walmart. Could use a bit more variety in some spots but a pretty good basic grocery store. The only real disappointment is they never have the organic produce the ad claims they have. Organic mushrooms? $5? And floating in water and moldy? Does the manager ever look?

I love my PHARMACY there. I get to sit in my car and my meds get delivered to me curbside. The pharmacists are awesome. ! Family Fare Store does NOT deliver.

It is the old super market type of feeling when I go there. The price is usually pretty decent for produce and great for meat. I also really like their bakery items.

Been there once just for the deals that week. So their meat department pretty high even with their deals. I will go back but only for the deals nothing else.

I ordered a 16 piece fried chicken meal for 8. I did get 18 pieces of chicken but nothing else would have fed 8 people. Recieved only enough mashed potatoes for 4 and a small gravy. 4 pieces of corn bread. And instead of the daily vegetable we requested potato wedges. There were 8 of these wedges so 1/8 of a potato for each person.. I paid $33 including tax for this . It was ok chicken but be aware WAY OVER PRICED for what you get.

This was my first time in it but since it became Fair Foods the prices were pretty good on the sale items hope it stays that way when it was Econo Foods it was just too pricey they couldn't compete with Walmart in that category looks like they're trying now yay

Registers were all down which I guess can happen but was frustrating. And there was a strong sewer like smell. The chicken in the deli is extremely good though!
