I dropped off a few boxes of donations on Saturday. I was greeted by a friendly young man by the name of Landon! So impressed! Friendly, outgoing and appeared appreciative of my donation. Great representative of company and certainly a great role model for others. He appears to like assisting people, made my day! Thank you Landon! Hire more like him!

Family Pathways in Lindstrom is a great resource for many items including gifts. Today, as always service was great and Landon is very kind, pleasant, and respectful. It has always been an enjoyable shopping experience.

Fantastic second-hand store. Huge, organized, helpful attendants! My friend moved to the area and found a handsome recliner chair and kitchen table, both for amazing prices. I also found awesome deals on a winter jacket, kitchen basics, and some lovely recipe books. Love the mission of Family Pathways. Great community resource. Plan to spend an hour if you love thrifting!Easy to donate at the side door too. Bring donations in boxes or plastic bags so they can load them easily - they go into a truck for sorting and pricing and then are distributed amongst the MN shops as merchandise is needed in each location. Great system.

I've been donating here for several years and the last 2 times I've donated recently I experienced the rudeness others are mentioning in their reviews. I'm not a rude person and do not approach people in that manner, so in both cases, the rudeness was one sided and not initiated by me. It's disheartening and I'll be donating elsewhere to avoid this moving forward.

Very clean and organized! The clothing is even grouped by color and size. So much better than other thrift stores I've been to. Landon was friendly and very helpful 😃 I will go back

I so enjoy my time at Lindstrom Family pathways! Especially with a few great employees like Cashmere and Georgia. They are always friendly and ready to listen if I have questions!

I have donated tons of stuff here several times and not once did I get a rude or crabby person!! Idk how everyone is approaching them to get this reaction but for as many complaints its is making me think, its how they r being approached? I feel no one is very nice out there and there is rude people that r just thinking of themselves, but I think this goes both ways on this one! I have only been in the store a handful of times and same no one was rude, crabby! I didn’t even get the lady who follows u all over the store treating u like a thief! That's just wrong not everyone shop lifts! For all the people who should not be in customer service:ie; not customer oriented, not friendly,not helpful, being crabby, rude, all these people stay home we don’t need u! Lol

My twin and me love 2nd hand shopping. We especially love how Cashmere at lindstrom makes it even more enjoyable cause she enjoys her job and enjoys her customers. She is always smiling and kind! We also love georgia!! She's another kind sole!!

I went there and they cherry picked my truck told me they wouldn’t take this and wouldn’t take that. Through something back into my truck and started swearing at me. I went to Goodwill in Forest Lake and they took everything I had except a sewing table and cpap machine which understand. It also took me 4 calls and a reservation to have someone even attempt to take it. At Goodwill in Forest Lake you just drive in. And the best part no whining!

I have been there daily, each attempt to deliver there was a sign, donations were closed. Earlier attempts were rejected because donations were not in a box and the staff was very rude. I guess I will donate elsewhere.

I have nothing but great things to say about this thrift store from donating to shopping I have always had a wonderful experience. The workers are top notch always greet you always help you if you ask where a particular item might be if they have it ...I will say they have a lot of people stealing out of the store & it is a disgrace to watch for those of us that pay for our great finds .I think the Lindstrom Pathways is the best laid out & customer service friendly store I have been in out of all the Pathways. Love this store!!

I wanted to like this place, I really did. Their organization seems to have a nice mission. I’ve even given the place multiple chances over the last couple of years, thinking maybe they’ll get better or I caught them at a bad time. But take a look around at the price tags on many of the items and you’ll find yourself wondering...did they forget that this stuff is...well...used? If you’ve ever wanted the surreal experience of having sticker shock at a thrift store, then this is the place for you!The Forest Lake location has a much better selection. Possibly the Lindstrom location has such poor selection because their staff are rude to people who try to donate stuff. They have specific hours to donate that are different from their store hours (this was pre-pandemic so we can’t blame that). So if you make a special trip 20 minutes each way to donate stuff under the impression that they’ll accept donations since Google said they’re open...think again. They’ll give you rude looks and tones of voice as if you’re inconveniencing them and you’re stupid for not knowing their donation hours are different than their store hours.Take yourself a favor and drive the extra 20 minutes to Goodwill in Forest Lake.

As everyone else has said they really want to give this one a good review but i find myself conflicted. It being the only trift store to me for almost 20 miles i go there a lot more than i should but being a model and needing new outfits or peices for shoots it's your best bet on a budget.I go there with a credit card in hand but I've been followed and watched a few times like I'm stealing. I honestly have worked in retail for 20 years and haven't done that to anyone else while they shop. It's made me feel uneasy and disrespected I've just walked out. I spend a minimum of $40 up to $300. I don't appreciate being looked at like delinquent trash.The above reason does back the rudeness of some( not all) of the employees. Some days i walk in and get a "hi" somedays i get a scowl and left to figure out on my own if there's a sale that day. So yes the employees situation needs to be addressed for sure there.

We will now be bringing our donations to Good Will or ARC going forward. This is the second time that the staff has been rude during drop off. We followed the rules and ensured we set up a time to drop off as well as weight limits and all COVID 19 rules as required. Besides being scheduled out almost 3 weeks, my wife was met by a very rude older woman who stated that they are not "Atlas". To make the person happy, my wife removed 4 sweaters from the bag and that became acceptable. 4 Sweaters OMG. Those will be included now in our donations going forward to Good Will\ARC.

I entered today with everyone else in my party wearing a mask except me as I have a legitimate medical condition exempting me. Knowing the governor's order has this exclusion specifically stated, they violated the federal ADA (American Disabilities Act) because they kicked me out of the store without offering any alternative method to accomodate serving me. So as a low income person, I was unable to purchase a dress shirt for my son so he would have one nice shirt that would fit.This discrimination caused my ever present medical issues to slap me in my face reminding me how different I am while I only wish I could lead a "normal" life. But to top it off, the one company that is supposedly out there to help the community, especually the low income and disabled, turned me out to have to face my boy and tell him I was not allowed to buy him a shirt.Please consider patronizing alternative organizations who actually assist the low income and medically disabled at every interface point.

It was a basic thrift store, big spacious, but not very inviting. No one approached me, I felt like I was being watched more then anything. Prices a bit high on clothing too. A good place though if you're in a pinch!!

Nice selection of items. Sometimes great prices. However seems to depend on person pricing items. Some items are way over priced. One would think that since every thing is DONATED, the prices should reflect a more price. Also the thought would be for me, price more reasonably and move items quicker. Just my opinion. Store was very organized and staff were friendly.
