We have been going here for the past 3 years. Recently, I started going more natural with how we live our lives and take care of our pets. We feed our dogs a raw diet, and I've heart stories of vets giving people a hard time over this. I am also cautious about not overvaccinating and have been reading about titer testing to make sure a booster is necessary. I've also read that many vets don't or won't do this.I have been pleasantly surprised that neither of these are an issue here. They support my wishes, and recently titer tested my 10 year old Golden at my request to verify whether or not he needed a distemper or parvo booster. It came back positive, so he didn't need it!The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it seems they are often short staffed on vets, and it can be hard to get in for an emergency. Our German Shepherd puppy has been having issues with allergies, and I had to find another vet to see. This was the second time I couldn't get in last minute (they had nothing for the next few days either).I do recommend them, though!! Very happy overall.

We appreciate the staff working hard to get our dogs in, keeping the prescriptions straight and always friendly. The Veterinarians always listen to our concerns, knowledgeable, look at all options for treatment and care. These folks are very compassionate and honest. Staff is very dedicated, friendly and helpful. Dr. Johnson has always walked that extra mile with us. If we can't afford something they help us search alternatives. We have found their prices to be less then others, with better service and smiling faces :-) When you go there you can feel the love and respect, so will your pet. They treat our animals as if their own. We have been seeing Dr. Johnson now for over 20 years. We feel they are part of our family. They are the best!

I have had good experiences here. The people working the desk can come off as kind of snotty when talking on the phone but that depends on the person. Over all the people here are very nice and helpful. I have been coming here since I have gotten our cat about 3 years ago. They have a little orange kitty that looks like a lion very adorable and stays behind the desk.

They have been nothing but kind, honest and helpful. They dont rake you over the coals with their prices and give you options. My dog lüna stepped down on a hunters arrow and they got her in at a moments notice. She was cleaned, cared for and back to me in an hour. This clinic is truly a small town treasure where your animals are treated as if they were their own.

The Animal Medical Center is fabulous. I switched to the Animal Medical Center from a larger practice and I am so glad I did. The staff are so kind and respectful... and very patient with fielding questions along with their focus to help. I also appreciate Dr. Peterson's willingness to explain the "why" of decisions and appreciate his expertise. Great vet clinic!

Was Awesome. I got a couple recommendations from people on Facebook and they were all true on what they said. I called many places before I saw Facebook recommendations for the Animal Medical Center in Lindstrom. My husband was so impressed too and said this is the nicest place we've been to and the people are so caring with the animals and treated our cat so well. In two weeks we're going back for our cats second round of shots and was told we wouldn't be charged for this appointment. Thank You.

This is a great clinic. I have multiple dogs. I have been taking them to the clinic for 15 years. The care provided has always been excellent. The doctors take time with the animals. They are skilled, experienced, and courteous. They listen, answer questions, explain options, and provide excellent advice. The staff is also knowledgeable, courteous, experienced, and helpful.

I've been positive about the care my dog receives at the Animal Medical Center in Lindstrom. I shifted over to this center from a much larger animal hospital and have been happy with this decision. The vet recommended removing several of my small dog's teeth and while I was not happy with that news he explained his reasoning in depth and showed me the problems in my dog's mouth. The operation was successful and my dog is happy and healthy.

My sister Mary and I have been bringing our pets here for over 20 years. We found the clinic when one of our dogs got sick when we were vacationing in the area and now we travel from our home town in Northfield (90 miles away) to have them treat our beloved fur babies. The vets are superior both in talent and compassion. The entire staff is friendly, caring and kind. They have gotten us through both the loss of pets as well as introducing new ones into the family. We ABSOLUTELY LOVE this clinic and would recommend it highly.

The Doctors, vet techs and office staff here are simply FABULOUS!We have taken our fur babies to them for 9+ years now. They take the time to really listen to our concerns and don't push for unneeded tests or procedures.They have treated us like family... genuinly caring for the health our pets like they were their own.They have celebrated and laughed with us ...held our hands when they had to relay 'bad' news and cried with us when we had to say goodbye to our babies having to cross the rainbow.They say animals are a good judge of character... well our dogs are excited to go in the building for their appointments with wagging tails and kisses for the staff even when the don't feel good and our kitties purr through their exams... and they all give them 5 'paw' stars!We used to live just blocks away and only took 5 mins to get to them... last year we have moved 50+ miles (about 1hr drive) away and we still ...and will continue to make the trip to the best vets in MN!

The ranking would be 11 if possible. Dr. Johansen was very thorough with my cat and very compassionate in the midst of delivering potentially devastating news. He spent extra time with me, causing him to be late to his next appointment. He has always answered my questions and called me back. He and Dr Peterson are incredible and assets to the care of any pet.
