AWESOME! It was clean. Very neat and in order. Shelves were full. Very pleased. Customer service was friendly and courteous. I was passing through from my sister's and pleasantly surprised. One thing....play some music in the stores of mixed 70's-80's of country, lite rock etc...it is a big plus in any store. I love that part of any store.

I was surprised to find pillows here. They were fairly cheap, 2 for $6. But you get what you pay for. They are not foam filled or overly thick, they smash very easily.I needed it more for some back support which I just folded in half. Nice clean place to stop. Kind workers.

One of the most spacious stores I've been to. They have a great cold food selection, but they are sometimes lacking in stock. All food goes under food stamps, so that's a good bonus.

Ad prices don't match store prices when they ring things up at the register a lot of items up! Watch your prices if you shop here! Bugles were suppose to be BOGO so since they were $1 each it should have taken off $1 right? Well the cashier tells me I took that off already. I'm like where? She says see the $0.35 and $0.35 at the bottom. I'm like no for the Bugles the BOGO deal yeah that's already taken off. I wanted to say OMG where did you go to school for math if you think $0.35 and $0.35 equals $1? Especially since that was for entirely different items and it had nothing to do with the BOGO deal. I just asked ok so if my receipt isn't right then who do I call or what should I do. She's like it's right it's on the bottom right there. I just walked away shaking my head knowing she was wrong but I didn't have the patience to argue over $1. Same thing happened with some Dawn spray and wash beginner kit thing. It was just another $1 or $1.50 that it was off but still that starts to add up after you go there fairly often. I guess maybe I need to complain to corporate about their prices and ad's a lot of times aren't right when they are ringing up at the register. I'll have to try going to other Dollar Generals to see if it's all of them or just the Lakefield one but watch your prices for sure if you go to Lakefield! More than likely your paying more than you should be! Especially with ad prices!

Store is always clean and well-stocked. The best and most impressive aspect to the store however is the staff. They are fantastic!!

The extremely narrow aisles and stocking carts is my only complaint. This is a hazard and makes it impossible for mobility impared to navigate. Huge disappointment especially for a new construction business.

It's in a great location for a small town area and it's only 10 miles from me. It's very convenient. If I need something quick and they are open till 10pm.

I have been a long time customer there, shopping there probably a minimum of 5-6 times a year since they opened; which doesn't sound like a lot, but I also don't live in Lakefield.

Come here often as some items are cheaper than local grocery store, typical Dollar General variety. When they're slow you often have to ring the bell for checkout.

The isles are full of racks, boxes. A person can hardly walk down them. The shelves are never full. Empty spots all the time.
