Super friendly & clean country convenience store.These type of convenience stores are usually overpriced which we expect, but we like supporting smaller town shops. This one was pretty shockingly overpriced for everything across the board, especially in comparison to another shop we had just been to. We only purchased 4 beef sticks, water pack & the scotch tape roll we needed due to it… that was just under $15.We went to another store for more snacks.

I often stop in here when hitting the area trails. They have a surprisingly good selection for drinks and snacks, clean restrooms, and friendly service. A great option for gas when passing through!

Jim has done a wonderful job with this place. He is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. I absolutely love the store and try to make a point to stop and make a purchase from him when I am in town. Has everything a small town needs and has that small town neighborly attitude! He has been a blessing for Lake George!

This is such an amazing little gas stations! Nice bathrooms and a lot of good stuff! I needed something to drink so we could hit the road and then of course got my little kids a ice cream.

Great stop for any reason! Premium fuel for Recreational Equipment, Liquor store for the best occasions, and all those little things you need but don't want to drive for a half an hour and burn 10 bucks in gas! Plus check out the schedule for events happening every month!

Liana was working at this very clean and well stocked convenience store. They were super busy Friday as folks geared up for deer hunting. There's a separate liquor store and a cute vintage post office too. Liana was so friendly! I recommend this store. Prices on staple items aren't cheap but it's convenient to have access to all the products without having to drive to a bigger town. I got water, coffee and a fizzy drink for a great price. Thumbs up.

We have stopped at the store multiple times and purchased items however this time we just needed to use the restroom. I noticed they sold bait so I was going to ask my husband if we should get some but after I used the restroom I was walking out and the woman at the counter asked if I was going to be getting anything, I said no thank you and she gave me just a nasty look. I asked if everything was ok and she sarcastically said oh suuuuure. I went and told my husband what took place and he said he was treated with the same rudeness. Needless to say we did not purchase bait and have no intentions on going there again.

If I've ever seen a place that is in dire need of some competition in town it is this place. I am all for sponsoring local. Don't believe, check my review history.Ellsworth 5 oz. cheese curds for $7.99. They are for sale on the Ellsworth website for $2.25 this very second. Unless they are being delivered to this store via Uber executive armored car delivery services for $5 per bag, the markup is absurd. It doesn't stop at the cheesecurds either. Do better woodland store. FYI, I did purchase the cheese curds, and pretzels and beer and ice and gas. However I will do better also, by bringing more snacks, and beer and ice.

Great location, employees, owners and patrons. Nice area for coffee and variety. Very good selection of goods, from water to liquor, snacks to hams, hats, sunglasses, sweaters, tackle, bait, Lake George items, fuel and additives.

I go through lake George every Friday. I drive from park Rapids to Bemidji. Usually my experience is great, but today, while driving through, I didn't need gas. My two youngest children needed to use the restroom. The older lady who was working, glared at us and we walked to the restroom, and I was thinking 'what is her deal?' Then when I came out, she asked me if I needed help finding some to BUY. Very rudely. I said 'no just using the restroom today.' And she said 'JUST using the restroom...?!?' I replied back with, 'We drive from park Rapids to Bemidi, and there aren't many options for restrooms along the way, and today we didn't need gas.' She scoffed at me and rolled her eyes... She was so snotty to me and my children, and said I couldn't use the restroom unless I was a paying customer... I'm sorry but I have been a patron of this place since I was a kid, and i will NOT be back. This lady has zero customer service skills! She was a red headed older lady.

Modern day highway robbery, gas thats always $0.30 more per gallon than the next closest gas station. Do yourself a favor and drive to Lowell’s or Laporte. Pretty sure the cashier overcharged me too. King size candy bars were on sale, 2 for $5 (even on sale still higher than anywhere else) a fountain pop for $1.00 (which was stale) a chapstick and a Jack Links beef jerky came to $15-some odd dollars! Won’t catch me stopping here again.

Very modern and well stocked "country store". Family run, with cheerful and helpful staff. Wi-fi spot with cold drinks and A/C and a couple of small tables to relax at. Good coffee.

Hours said they were still open but since they see we were people of color coming in they shut the door on my kids faces who were going in to use the bathroom and said we're closed. Shut off the gas pumps on us also. We barely made it to the next town for gas.
