Not friendly at all. Prices are high selection is low and for the so called clerk that stood so close because she thought I would steal something. If your that concerned actually do a job instead of standing staring. You look ridiculous to a nurse who makes 60 an hr and doesn't need to steal.

Worst store every. Prices are crazy and they don’t let you even take the shopping carts out with you, have to carry all your own stuff. They say they will help you but no one’s ever around to help or even to offer to help. They just watch you struggle. Will never shop here again. Wayyy overpriced

I live in Lake City and I have been really disappointed the last few times I've shopped here. The deli section prices have gone sky high. No more deli meals for me. I ran into my neighbor and she said, it's not just the deli section that's gone sky high, it's everything in the store. Just when food prices are coming back down, your prices are going up again. I know smaller grocery stores have to charge more, but come on.At least the staff remains friendly and helpful.

I travel several miles to get dog bones from their meat cooler. At the time, they were the best around. Every 2nd or 3rd day I would clear off the shelf. $20-$30 at a time. Until recently I came home twice with rotten meat. I called to complain and left two messages. No one responded. When you are spending $3.89/lb for dog treats you expect them to be something you can actually give to your dog. If they don't care about products you purchase because it is a dog than they shouldn't bother selling it. If they aren't doing any quality control you have to wonder how well they are checking the meat for human consumption. They are all in the same cooler (right above the soup bones, which have more meat and are cheaper). Their regular groceries are a bit more expensive than the grocery store in my town to north so I have no other reason to make the drive. If you live in Lake City it might be time to find a local butcher or at least think hard about what you are feeding your pets from that store. The store is clean but it is downhill from there and they don't call you back when you have a concern.

Lake City Fresh Market used to be a great place to buy your groceries but now the bakery goods are far less taste-tee than the homemade baked goods they used to have before. I will be buying mine at Kwik Trip from now on.

I was impressed by the extreme cleanliness everywhere,especially in the restroom. The new refrigerated cases are so easy to shop at and the aisles are wide and clear of small displays. Best asset is. The friendly, helpful staff, especially when I cannot find something. For them to help me load my car is much appreciated! Mary

Visiting Lake City on vacation and had to stop in to pick up the few things..For some reason, had complications with the self check out , and both Hannah and missy were there to help, along with a few laughs .

My family and I love this grocery store. My husband and I have three boys, and we are really busy with sports, school, and daily life. Therefore, we do not like to spend our precious "down-time" driving to grocery stores in Rochester or Red Wing just so we can have lower prices. We ALWAYS have had great service when we go there because we are cordial to the employees and they are in return to us. I'll pay a little bit more for friendly service, a great location, people to pack my groceries, and load them into my van.

This is a very nice store. Had to stop in and get a few items. The staff was absolutely terrific, we were greeted as soon as we walked in. We stopped by the deli just to see what they had and there was an item we were wondering about that they didn't have out and they offered to make it for us, however we didn't have time to wait but they went up and be on Call of Duty. The checkout lady was absolutely great very friendly and helpful. We had a great experiencing shopping at the store. 👍

Friendly staff and not just a basic small town general store. It's a legitimate grocery store with a good selection of predominantly name-brand items. The atmosphere is quiet and laid-back. No irritating store music or a ton of people crowding you or forcing you to hurry through the store. I will say that everything is pretty high priced. I know that this is due to the size of the town and also that it's a tourist destination. Also, I was sad that they didn't have the 1 pound bags of David's Sunflower Seeds, but that is also common so I can't complain too much. Overall, I had a great shopping experience and the gentleman who helped us out with our groceries was kind and helpful.

It's very nice inside. This store has way more to offer than what you would expect from a small town grocery as well. Kudos to them. Stick to what's on sale. Otherwise many things are "over-priced," a confusing few are "under-priced ", or "average".Our family is their generic brand.

A good local store with a wide range of foods, domestic goods and fresh produce. The deli counter is small but stocks some good quality essentials including a hot fried chicken, potato etc. counter. Good quality fresh breads and rolls can be found too. Fresh produce is always well presented and again, wide ranging. Some organic goods can also be found. Butchery is nicely presented also. You might pay a slight premium in price to shop locally but when you factor in motoring costs to get to the larger stores, you don't end up paying too much more. Add to that, you are supporting your local economy.Staff always friendly and attentive, ever willing to take the time to guide you personally to anything you cannot find.

Spendy yes, a good experience always. Everything here is going to be more than your wal mart, but its convenient, never overly crowded, and you can always find someone to help. Plus not many stores have employees still bring out and help load your groceries. Hope they never have to close!

Nicest supermarket in the area. Clean, well stocked with everything anyone might need, fresh veggies, meats, bakery, deli, etc. Even a small liquor store inside.And CARRY OUT SERVICE is automatic! No tipping allowed. Great for us old guys.

Good place if you need a quick stop and pick something up! A little on the expensive side but if you shop the weekly ad and use coupon it's not too bad!! Great customer service and they bring your groceries to your car for you!!

Our family shops here several times a week. If you're a penny pincher, it might be slightly more expensive than a large chain in a bigger city. However, the convenience of staying in town instead of spending time and money on traveling is worth it in my opinion. Also, we consider shopping local important to keeping our businesses operational. A couple nice things you won't find elsewhere; they bag and carry your groceries to your car for you (imagine how nice this is for parents with their hands full with small children, or the elderly!), and they will also order special products for you if they can find them. Also, Phil employs the nicest people around!
