I recently took my cat Bobbi to Kimball Vet to get a reasonable price on a spay I haven't had a pet since the 90s so it's a new thing and the prices have gone way up. She needed to get her shots and everything up to date and get spayed. It ended up costing me $340 which is cheaper than anybody else in the area that I can find that does good work. I was worried about my cat but Kimball Vet took good care of her. A week later she's back to running around the house like her normal self ( What we call "The Zoomies" ). Thank you Kimball VET for taking such good care of my pet she's my best friend!

I’ve brought my pets to the Kimball vet clinic for probably 15 years, both when I lived nearby and when I didn’t. They’ve always been so friendly and knowledgeable, helped us through some hard things with some of our pets, and have a much better price point that most vet clinics. I recommend them to everyone who asks for vet recommendations and will always trust my pets with them. ❤️

My wife and I brought our sick 13 year old puppy Jazzy in to put her to sleep. We just want to thank the staff by being so patient and caring during this time. We had to make the extremely hard choice of putting our dog down. She had a chronic disease that was not curable.Kimball was upfront on cost, made us feel validated and were so compassionate.It was incredibly hard to say goodbye but it was done peacefully and professionally.Thank you for being respectful and caring.

Had a really bad experience after years of bringing my dog here. They lost their way after they started buying a lot of clinics. They misdiagnosed my dogs enlarged stomach for fat when it was actually her insides expanding. They took an X-ray and said it was fine at “discharge” but would later find out (from the referral vet they use) that the X-ray was alarming and should’ve been basic vet knowledge that something was wrong. His answer to everything was to sell food from Science Diet.Not knowing what is wrong or saying there’s nothing that can be done is fine. But ordering an X-ray and not even reading it or consulting the customer is not fine. They always made sure to charge for everything but didn’t make sure to communicate the X-ray results.Dr. Carl in Watkins gets 5 stars though for great service. About a week before my dog died I had to bring her to Watkins and he was able to tell by visual examination that her belly was not fat and something was wrong (the vets involved in Kimball weren’t capable of that).Everything in this review is my opinion based on my experience with going to this clinic.

I recommend taking your pets to Kimball, it’s a little bit of a drive from the cities, but for your scheduled vet care if you can afford the time, it will save in your pocketbook if you have more than one pet.

They got me in with short notice to put down my cat. They were patient, polite, and professional. It was affordable and they gave me options on what to do after. They did not rush me and reassured me to take the time I needed. They lit a candle in the lobby. A couple of days later they sent a card and a paw print. It was so kind and thoughtful.

From the early days of Dr. Jerry to now, our furry friends have been regulars here. We have gotten the care and the medical attention our pups have deserved. Kimball/Watkins have seen us through two of our old pups in their departure and they showed great respect during our loss. Even though we lived in St. Cloud, we found it worth the short trek to Kimball for all our pet needs.

I brought my Cat, Chicken & more recently my little Dog to this Vet Clinic. They are AMAZING!!My Dog, she's 9yrs old, she used to belong to a family member, I've only had her full time for a month, She was never fixed & never had puppy's, she developed an infection because of. She was in need of Emergency surgery, her uterus had to be removed!This Clinic is the best! They went above & beyond for both my little Dog & Myself!! They will work with you instead of turning you away.Quality work & good rates, great bedside manner., I highly recommend this clinic! My pet's will never go anywhere else

We have a new black lab female Josie she's just wonderful and the people at the Kimball vet we're more than accommodating they walked us through quite a few different things shots some medicine procedures,talked about obedience, Josie just loves it there she thinks she's there to play with the otherdogs. The staff was great with my very nervous 70lb male Bullboxer. They offered him treats, talked calmly and was even able to give him both of his shots! I will definitely give him natural treats that were recommended to help calm him down in the future. He was very happy to leave, but thanks to the staff it was a very quick and painless experience. He's healthy, happy, and still the king of the house! 🐶

My usual vet was booked on a Saturday but my pup was having eye problems. Kimball Vet got us in the same day (on a weekend) and treated him. Got us in and out quickly and didn’t overcharge. Great experience with a kind, caring staff.

Kimball Veterinary Clinic was amazing when I had to put my dog down. My pets had never been patients at Kimball Vet. Clinic, but when I was not able to get my regular vet, they squeezed me in within an hour of calling. Then, due to bad road conditions I arrived nearly 15 minutes late. Kimball Vet. Clinic still agreed to euthanize my dog (this doesn't mean you get to be late for your appointments and still be seen! 😉 I'm guessing they may have given up part if not all of their break time for us) and allowed me to be with him through the end. The clinic was very clean and the vet as well as all the other nurses and staff were so welcoming. I appreciated the understanding and care they showed my dog and I by being patient with me as I grieved, explaining what they were doing and why, explaining what to expect to see as he passed, keeping the rest of the clinic quiet as possible, and helping me care for my dog and carry him out of the building afterwards. I have no qualms traveling a little further, even in bad weather conditions, in order for my current and future pets to receive care at Kimball Veterinary Clinic.

Great service and very fair pricing. My dog had surgery to remove a growth and a tooth extraction at the same time, and the experience was top-notch. My dog is 12, so there is risk for an older dog, and I still got to pick her up within 4 hrs. We drive 60+ min to go to this vet clinic, even though there are many vet clinics that are closer.

Dr. Angie is amazing! She is very knowledgeable & actually cares about the animals. The techs are also amazing, especially Kristi! This clinic has helped me out in so many different ways over the last 12 years with my herd of pets. They are also very affordable! Highly recommend!

I truly used to love this place and had been a loyal customer for over 10 years. However, after a sloppy neutering and a mislead diagnosis I am taking my animals elsewhere. I was not listened to as a pet owner, dismissed on many occasions, and treated unprofessionally. I had requested X-rays twice and was turned down only to be told my dog probably had meningitis...this did not sit well with me as I know how meningitis appears in humans. I immediately went to a clinic in St.Cloud where they did a very thorough examination and asked if we could do X-rays because they too doubted meningitis. A simple X-ray later and we had our diagnosis along with a great treatment plan. Six hours later my dog was almost back to his old self.To think I let him suffer for over a week while trusting the kimball vet makes me sick. I will now be making the longer commute to St.Cloud as I was respected, listened to, and my concerns were validated. Not only was their vet amazing but the staff was so loving to my pet! Trust your gut and get that second opinion, it’s worth it.
