What an awesome store! You can get everything from gas to bait to hardware to delicious BBQ sandwiches! Really nice employees also. Another great reason to stay off I-35 when traveling… you see cool places like this.

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE FIND!!!!!!We got the MOST AMAZING Brisket here!!! And the price is so Very REASONABLE!!!Home rubbed and smoked by the Owner, a Sweet Young thing!!WHAT AN INCREDIBLE FIND!!!It's so worth the drive from the Twin Cities!!!Call ahead to be sure she is smoking and has inventory!!!She smokes Ribs, too..... Sadly they sold out in a few hours?I wish I could put a smell on here, it is totally HEAVENLY!!!!!Ate half of two pounds before we even got out of the parking lot, Had to park and buy 2 more, that first 2 lbs was NEVER going to make it home!!!!8-26/2023 Ordered ribs and went back today, THEY WERE CRAZY GOOD!!!!!

I had an amazing hot pulled porketta sandwich at the Duquette General Store. The sandwich was absolutely mouth-watering. The store has just about everything you could need from groceries to nuts and bolts. Staff was very friendly.

Duquette (pronounced Do-Ket) General Store really knows how to work the slash!! Understandable when considering they are the only gas station, grocery store, hardware store, deli, coffee shop, movie rental, ice cream parlor, hunting accessory, and miscellaneous emporium, in a 50/75 mile radius. Sure the prices are a bit higher, but this washes out when considering how far you'll need to drive to find a competitor.

Very small grocery/convenience store. Very nice girl working the deli counter made me a sandwich and answered my questions about their smoked ribs that were ready for pickup. She advised that I call a couple days in advance of holiday weekend and 1 day if a regular day to pre-order if I didn't want to find a sold out situation when I arrive. I will pre-order the ribs my next planned visit to the area.

What would we do without you!! I cannot count how many times Ive had to run up there for something I forgot to bring on the way up to the cabin. They usually have what we need! Very friendly folks, and great horseradish cheese!

Great little store in the middle of the North Woods. Fair prices on essential items plus a nice selection of fresh meats and cheese in the deli section. Lots of items can be found here that you may have forgot to pac before heading up north. Charcoal is a bit spendy but that is to be expected. They have a rib special that is worth putting your order in for as well. No complaint about thos general store, always friwndly service.

We were on our way to Nemadgi State Forest to do some ATV riding. Stopped here for ice. They have just about anything a camper would need. We rode back to the store on our ATV's and ordered freshly made sandwiches from the deli. Sooo... good. They also sell detailed maps of the ATV trails.

Great place to fuel up, get a bite at the deli. Great sandwiches and ribs. I would recommend getting turkey, havarti cheese, mayo,lettuce,onion,tomato, and a good ol' root beer. ATV friendly place and go there many times a year! Right by the Nemadji State Forest. Ride right onto the trails from the general store.

Very well located for visiting Nemadji Forest riding ATV, Motorcycles etc. They have a variety of basic necessities, tools, clothing, some hunting/fishing supplies, foods and eats to go. Don't expect Wallmart prices, you are out in the middle of nowhere, be prepared to pay a little more for the convenience. They are nice people and have been going there for 30 years.
