I just left this Dollar general in kassan if there was a way of adding photos to this review I definitely would have there was two employees standing around when I walked in the store than disappeared looks like they have not put away their truck in a while the back aisle was full of carts filled to the top with boxes as well as the middle aisle I had to move carts out of my way to get through with my cart shelves were empty so many items in the wrong spot just shoved everywhere I normally love dollar general but I will never come back to this one the worst one I have been to ever and to top it off an elderly person was looking for an employee for at least 5 mins she asked one lady that was switching the prices on the shelves told her they are in the office and then after continuing to look around for a worker she walked into the office area to find the workers to get help completely unprofessional unorganized and dirty i am surprised they r still open SMH

This is the worst ran dollar general I've ever been to. Alot of times they are not open during business hours. Management can't access alot of products in the store to buy. Very hard to get help and if you ask the manager for help you will get a rude response. Do yourself a favor and drive to a different dollar general

If there was a way to leave a negative review I would. Stacy is the rudest manager I have ever had an experience with. This isn't the first time, I have an experience with her as she has made her own employees cry and has belittled them in front of customers. She feels she has the right to treat everyone with disrespect and today was no different.Today, started off by me walking in with two drinks in my hand I wanted to put in a garbage since I didn't see any outside. She told me right as I entered they don't allow public to toss anything in their garbages. This is fine and took my two drinks outside. I went back in as I was going to purchase a pop but she continued to stare at me and talk with her other coworker about the situation. I told her that she was being very rude. At that point she told me that I could leave. I asked her if I could get her District managers name which she informed me as on the door and that I could get it from there. I called the number while I was standing outside and Stacy decided to call her as well while telling me she was going to call the police if I didn't leave the sidewalk area. Very Professional over someone informing you that your attitude was not appropriate for a work environment. When talking to her District manager she told me that she handles all the complaints and that it isn't any of the public business to know how they are handled. I informed her I have no care on how they are handled I just wanted to voice a complaint. Stacy told her that we all just want her fired is why. All in all just a bad experience that I also am reporting to the BBB as no one deserves the kind of customer service she provides.

Normally I have a great time coming in here, find everything I need and the service is helpful. Not tonight. Me and my boyfriend were shopping for a few things before our trip coming up. I started grabbing a few things and eventually handed them to my boyfriend because I couldn't carry all the little stuff. As I am looking through the clarence section an employee (in plain clothes, no identification to show he is an employee) with no name tag comes asking us if we found everything okay. We say yes and he goes over and gets really close in my boyfriends space and asks what he has. My boyfriend shows him and then he says "nothing too bad" and leaves.When we get to the counter to pay they treat us like suspects. They must have suspected we were stealing. We obviously were not and I was offended to be treated as if we were and to approached like that by someone we didn't even know was employee. I thought we were being approached by another customer who was getting way to close to comfort with my boyfriend. Overall not cool and a bit scary. Please make sure your employees are identified. This experience scared us both.

We went in with three kids today buying toys, one of the balls our 3 year old was bouncing was a light up ball, in order to see the light in the ball u had to bounce it. This rude employee from the other isle - her name was Tiffany had said STOP BOUNCING THE BALLS… my kid then said who said that? That was scary and why can’t I bounce the ball? HOW ELSE ARE YOU SUPPOSE TO SEE IF THE BALL LIGHTS UP WITH OUT BOUNCING Tiffany?! just rude!! I’ve always had bad customer service in the Kasson dollar store- If u hate people and kids that bad maybe pick a different job.

Normally have a relatively good experience, but today was different. I was trying to buy 5 packs of pokemon cards because one of our daycare children's birthday is this weekend but then the woman from the back (wish I knew her name) shouted that I could only buy 3. The woman helping me was very nice (her name was Rainy) and still wanted to sell me the 5 but then the rude woman from the back came up front to watch and make sure I didn't get more. Rainy asked her why I could only have 3 and the rude woman stated that it was because they are for children and 25 year olds shouldn't be buying them (I'm 29). I told Rainy it was fine and I walked out with 3 packs.I live in town and know most of the staff here well, this was my first time meeting her and the only bad interaction I've ever had, but I will no longer be purchasing anything as long as she is working.

Lynne is so super nice. SUPER NICE. She helped me with my 20 questions and honored a discount for me because a sale sign was left up. As I was leaving a customer was rude to her and told her not to take their credit card... [as the customer left their credit card on the counter and walked to look at items on a shelf close by] Lynne responded with a smile to the customer and said "I'm not going to steal your card." She was very professional about it.

I wish I could give no stars or better yet, negative stars.In the Rudest-Clerk-Ever Olympics, this guy would win the gold. He was surly when I walked in, surlier when I shopped, and surliest when I tried to check out.The store had those things you hang in your car to make it smell good and had them in a wide selection of scents, and all fragrances but one were marked $2. One of the scent varieties though, was $1 per package. It had a sign naming both the price and the specific fragrance. Anyway, it was a good price so I chose it. At checkout, it rang up as $2.65. When I said it should be a dollar, he snapped, "Hey, I can't help it if somebody put it on the wrong hook!" I told him it wasn't on the wrong hook because the sign named that exact scent. "Come and see," I said. He refused to and swore at me under his breath.I left. I have no plans to return!

Shelves are always a bit messy. There only ever seems to be about 1 employee there at a time and naturally they are never at the register. The customers have to be the most terrifying part of the experience, DG seems to attract the worst people in the area. Gina and Tim are the only employees there I really like, I do try to avoid this place.

Staff isn't too interactive with customer unless you seem suspicious in any manner. Not to mention inventory is a bit pricey since they have no real competition in the area to compare pricing to. All and all, it's a small town Dollar General not much more to really say.

I love DG, but I miss the great sales they use to have. The store it's never stocked, or organized. I enjoy the new manager, but she needs to hire New Employee's REALLY bad.

Convenient and reasonable prices but they can be very unorganized and certain staff members are flat out rude! If it was not for convenience and prices.. I would not shop here. I think they need to REQUIRE that employees look respectful, clean, and not stinky. That's just wrong in so many ways!!!

They renovated and it's great! If you are looking for inexpensive items or items for fun crafts this is the place. The people are really nice and I haven't had a bad experience:)

The Dollar General is okay, it is rather small, but has a lot to choose from. But the workers are not always at the counter and you usually have to wait. But that is made up for by very nice cashiers and reliable products.

Hiring process is a joke. Went in for an interview and got accepted, took over a month to get everything finalized and by that I had already got hired at another place because I need a source of income. They are awful about calling you back and relaying information.
