Happy to find this cafe with espresso drinks around Mille Lacs. There aren't that many places serving a standard range of coffee up here! They also have oat milk available!The big breakfast sandwiches were really delicious. Unfortunately we ordered one without cheese but it came with cheese anyway.We ordered to go and I would say this was about a 10 minute stop for us. We would go back for sure!Parking: We were able to get a spot on the street right outside the cafe. This is a fairly quiet downtown.

We had a really great sandwich here! We split it in half. I loved how the cole slaw had bits of pineapple in it. The poor woman behind the counter had no help, and it sounded like she'd been swamped with guests earlier...glad we came at 2 pm. No one was there. The coffee prices were reasonable, too. They had some creative latte flavor combos that I would've loved to try if I hadn't already reached my daily sugar limit at the bakery down the street!

We went in on a Sunday morning hoping for some breakfast but were told that they didn't serve breakfast food on Sunday, even though their website stated otherwise. The woman working seemed annoyed that we were there. It was kind of frustrating. Unfortunately, we didn't get any food because we wanted breakfast but I heard they have great food. This review is based solely on customer service. I hope they aren't like that all the time.

I really enjoyed the lunch I ate here! I had the oven roasted turkey sandwich with the mystery turkey sauce, and for $7.75 the surprisingly filling and yummy sandwich was a deal and came with a side of potato salad. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was "small town chic."My friend really enjoyed her sandwich, the Rachel, which came on delicious grilled wild rice cranberry bread.My iced mocha was also great--not to sweet with and great espresso base.For value and tasty sandwiches, this little cafe hits the mark!

Their cold deli sandwiches are amazing! You can't go wrong ordering the Dagwood or Haystack. Highly recommend trying one of their smoothies too!!

Wow! What a great place. My family has been visiting for years and they never disappoint. Just recently placed a large order for 8 people and the order was absolutely perfect. Not only did they not make any mistakes, they gave us 8 free donuts. They are a great quaint place, wonderful service, food, and people. Highly recommend!

Not very friendly service. Extremely slow, even for a small town cafe. Employees have their hair down and inappropriate clothing for food safety. Drinks coming out with inconsistent contents/ingredients. Employees gave food to wrong people and didn’t prioritize a fix which resulted in further delayed service. Employees are indifferent.

I come here at least once a month, I'd recommend it to tourists. The food is always fresh and delicious. Good atmosphere with welcoming staff. I did not rate 5/5 because I've witnessed staff not wearing gloves while touching the food they've put on my sandwich. It's a tad gross.

This is a cute little small town coffee shop, however the drinks were nothing to write home about. I ordered an Italian soda and after I received it, I asked if she would put half and half in it and she stated that is not how you make an Italian soda. She stated this drink only consists of syrup and club soda.🤦🏼‍♀️ I watched the espresso come out of the portafilter and it gushed out within 5 seconds and resembled waterdown tea. It was the of the most unimpressive lattes. One could not consider this a latte, but rather flavored milk.

Stopped here while heading through town. Sandwich was topnotch and homemade tea and potato salad were great. Love the big egg and onion chunks in the potato salad. Deffinatly worth the stop. This place would be my spot if it were located in the cities.

The reuben sandwich was terrible! My daughters and I ordered two reubens and a burger. I will say, the bread was good, but the sauce was lacking flavor (nothing like the zip of some good thousand island dressing on a reuben...they may have just used mayo - I couldn't tell), but the real problem was the corned beef. First of all, there was none of the distinct corned beef flavor. Second, I estimate the corned beef was over 50% fat (picture a REALLY fatty package of bacon). My daughter and I kept picking through the sandwich, hunting for some actual meat and with every layer, it was the same. The two reuben eaters finally gave up. The three of us ended up sharing the one burger we had ordered.When I asked the person behind the counter if this was typical for the corned beef, she said it was. She seemed young and maybe not familiar with what corned beef should look like. If I were the owner/manager and I received corned beef from my supplier that looked like this, I would NEVER use it on a customer's sandwich. Charge more and buy better quality ingredients.Though the person behind the counter was very friendly, she lacked the initiative to complete a refund on the spot when I brought up the fact that I felt like I just wasted $20 on two sandwiches that we could not eat. She said she would let the manager know. I probably should have pressed for a refund, but it had been a long day and I just didn't have the energy.

I bought 4 turtle mochas this morning. They were terrible, all I could taste was milk. I like the coffee shop at the video store MUCH better. And they seemed crabby while making the drinks. Plus, their coffee is more expensive than the other coffee shop in town. Don’t waste your time or money

Hometown cozy. Stop in and be surprised by the incredible food and drink selection. The staff is always friendly, warm, and bubbly. My favorite is the turkey BLT wrap!
