I’d give this store zero stars if I could every time you go in there none of their handicap electric carts work. I depend on them to get my shopping done. The store is worthless. They don’t fix anything. They certainly don’t cater to handicap at all funny, not ADA compliant.

Horrible experience… do not order food for your party here. I was assured my cupcake order was going to be fulfilled weeks prior, the day of they tried to blame me why they don’t have the order. Then when we told them what we needed and wanted it was still wrong. The sandwiches were given no condiments (I’ve ordered from a different store for that and was given the Mayo along with it) especially when you pay the price you pay. The potato salad was unbelievably dry. I will never ever go through Cub again for my catering needs as it turned into a terrible experience.

This store is constantly understaffed, dirty, and it’s hard to find a shopping basket (carts are plentiful, just no baskets). Also, if you want help at the deli, I hope you have 30 minutes to wait.I deal with it because it’s the closest grocery store to my home. But today’s even worse-than-normal experience made me leave a review.Cub: If you only want to pay one single human to work your 5 human check-out lines, please at least have more than ONE self-checkout line that actually works.You have four machines set up for free customer labor, but only one was open. On a SATURDAY. You know, the day that a ton of people shop because they only have weekends off?I’d been in line 20 minutes in self-checkout when another human line finally opened. Too bad all the people who had already been waiting got shafted.

The staff is excellent too bad the produce department isn’t. Actually lots of outdated dairy as well. Someone needs to clean the bathrooms -awful….There’s so much potential to have an excellent experience just needs someone to step it up!I don’t post reviews usually but I’d love if someone at this Cub could do something. Off to WSP I go…..

I suppose it's a convenience store that has a selection of the most common things that anyone could ever find anywhere. But they're pricing is way off on so many things and generally to the high side. Pistachios for $10 for a small container? Pre-cut berries for a little bit more than that? Give me a break. The list goes on and on. That's a 100 to 120% markup. When we talk about inflation who cares that's 10%. This is gouging. But like I said it's there. The store is fairly clean staff is friendly enough. But when I shop there I feel like it's all about making money and not putting out the best produce. Visually appealing maybe but that's about it.

Produce section has a very poor selection. It's missing a lot of fruits and vegetables, and the ones it has are often not good. The rest of the store is fine, same as every other grocery store.

Not enough cashiers, but you can't input your cub rewards card in self check out to get discounted prices. Waited un long self chexk out line then was told had to go wait in longer line where they have a scan gun. Not happy.... Fix it, get more lanes open, or maybe I should shop elsewhere...

Where do I start?The produce is always outdated, the fruit is old and disgusting , the meat is expensive and old and there has been several; instances where I thought I was buying steak and it was roast beef label as steak, I was told that this particular Cub Food's is privately owned which makes since as why they are much more expensive than other Cub Food's and their standard of food isn't the same as other stores in the area. This Cub Foods is less than a mile away from my house and I try to avoid it at all cost it's disappointing that I have to go to Cub Food's in WSP to get quality food and lower prices shame on the OWNER.

Let me start by saying their staff is so nice. However, with the state of the economy the way it is do you think maybe they could cut their loyal, for many years, customers some slack? No. A bag of romaine lettuce, $7.99. Really. That same bag of romaine at Byerlys is $4.99. This has proven to be across the board with this cub. Ridiculously high prices. I for one am done. Why wouldn’t a person shop at Byerlys where the produce is fresh and there is significant savings? Or aldi. Their stuff is so much cheaper. It was a nice run Cub, but you’re thieves!

Oh, where to start…The shelves are always half empty; you’ll leave with only a fraction of the stuff you came for and have to wait in a long and crowded line just to go to another store in another town afterwards.The amount of times we’ve gotten home to find that some of the items we purchased were already expired is shameful (examples include: hummus, soup, condiments, bagged oranges, prepackaged fresh herbs, arugula, bagged pre cut broccoli, bread, Naked juice).The produce section is always a disappointment, both in selection and quality of the produce.The cleanliness of the store is hit or miss. We’ve seen used napkins and half eaten chicken wings laying on empty shelves and on top of merchandise a few times.The remaining staff they have seem to be overworked and miserable. I can only imagine how frustrating and overwhelming it must be to actually have to work in such an awful store, and in a pandemic no less.I’d complain about the lack of social distancing too but that’s the fault of the customers who refuse to wear masks or maintain 6ft distance from others.I feel for the staff; they’re overworked, overexposed, underpaid, and undervalued.The management needs to take accountability and fix this place, value their employees much higher for even showing up to work in such an embarrassment of a store, keep the place clean and safe for both customers and staff, and provide quality merchandise that isn’t rotten.

We ordered 3 salads, a vegetable tray, chicken and 2 birthday cakes. Everything tasted amazing and the service was AMAZING!!!!Thank you to the gal in the deli department because she did an AWESOME job. Made our party so enjoyable! No cooking and our guests loved the food!!

The remodel was much needed and coming along nicely. It makes it easier to shop in a store when it's obvious that the company cares about it. The self service checkouts were much needed to keep lines shorter and allow people with a few items to checkout quickly.

Perfectly acceptable experience whenever I shop here. Has all the essentials and most everything is reasonably priced. That said, the store is a bit dated and checkout can be long at times. If you need a quick place to shop, this Cub will do an adequate job.

This cub foods is very conveniently located. Within 1 1/2 miles of my home. I have shopped here since it opened. I’m done now. The produce is generally old. I bought fresh green beans that I went to fix 3 days after purchasing and they were all brown and rotten. Same with the last cucumber. Even a bag of potato’s I find several are bad. The bananas aren’t rotten though, they’re so green you can’t eat them for 5 days. The carrots are growing roots inside the bags, that’s a sign that they’re old. Get with it cub, your prices have skyrocketed, your fresh food is anything but fresh. If you want to price your things like Byerlys then you might think about offering your customer the same quality of food and fresh produce. I guess convenience is over rated. I’m done with your rotten produce and ridiculously high prices!!!

Store is clean and open 24/7 (closed some holiday hours), employees very helpful in navigating the store for an item, registers move pretty quickly even when busy.Store is secured overnight, never felt uncomfortable late night, and nice to avoid busy hours.

I used to work at this location. One day I brought my girlfriend at the time shopping here. An employee in the bakery named Ida complimented my girlfriend by saying "you're pretty" then she turned to me and said "you're not" then she laughed at my expense. I found this comment extremely rude and insulting.When we went to the cash register, the cashier named Denise said to my girlfriend, and I quote "this guy can be a real brat sometimes. You should find someone better".Irregardless of whether or not these individuals think they know me personally (which they do not) there is no excuse for speaking to a paying customer like that. If these two are still working here, I would demand that some form of disciplinary action be taken against both of them.I will never set foot inside Cub Foods Inver Grove ever again. I want nothing to do with anyone that would flagrantly belittle me so harshly. Ida and Denise should be fired. Furthermore, their abusive comments was what caused me to break up with my girlfriend, because apparently she was in agreement with both of them. If any of the individuals mentioned in this review were to attempt to speak to me ever again, then I would file a restraining order against them.

Selection of foods and products is not as well rounded as other stores. Checking out is very annoying. They never have enough cashiers to fit the need so you are guaranteed a 10 minute or longer wait to get through the check out lines. Cashiers also tend to be in bad moods which obviously enhances the negative experience. Store is also pretty dirty for a grocery store. Only reason I go here is it's the only store in town.

Currently going through upgrades? I'm going to wait until they're finished before trying it out again. Empty shelves and not an English muffin in the entire place? Dimmed down freezer isles. Depressing stuff. Been shopping there for years, and it's always been sub-par. Only grocery I've ever been to that sold me rotten fruit and vegetables. They were always okay about exchanges, after a few calls and emails. But after getting rotten navel oranges, I'm out for awhile. The sixth time I've been burned on produce. I've been to other Cub locations that are much better. It's convenient if you live in IGH, but that's really the only reason to ever shop here.

Always fresh & well presented food. Cheerful, friendly employees will to. help if needed. This Cub is 24hrs & has a TCF Branch office. Complete with fresh deli, on site bakery, fresh produce & Pharmacy. Best of all they're Service Dog Friendly!

Cub is always hit or miss, the frustrating thing is they have a bunch of kids (usually) trying to stock shelves during the stores busiest times clogging aisles and blocking access to shelves. Their hot food buffet is really good, great chicken and their Deviled egg potato salad is the BEST!!

Cub is not my usual store to shop at because their prices are somewhat higher than where I usually shop. But stopped in for couple of specials yesterday and found some items that were priced very reasonably.(Store On Cahill, IGH.) was very clean and nice to shop at.

I’ve given this store so many chances to redeem themselves but almost every time without fail they screw up. Make sure you check your foods expiration dates!! Time after time I find things that are already expired, almost every time I get any kind of lettuce, spinach, or a spring mix in the produce section it’s all whilted and smells like pond scum almost as if they forgot to refrigerate it at some point before it got to the shelf, also sometimes items don’t match the price on the shelf when the go to check out, they robbed me a few times doing that and didn’t notice until going through the receipt after I had already gotten home, shopping at other cub stores I’ve never had a problem but Inver Grove cub is somewhere that should be avoided, if it were possible I would give this cub zero starts out of five.

Open 24hrs is nice for a night owl like me! Also, I'm sure most of the people know by now, the West St Paul Cub closes at Midnight. I'm glad Inver Grove Heights is still a 24hr store. So, if I get a hankering for my Ben & Jerrys at 2am, I know where to go. And, it's not that far from WSP!!
