I loved the easy and unique check in (you get a code to a little key locker in the lobby) and how large the room was. There's a table and fridge and microwave and coffee station. While the building is older and a lot of things appear to have not been replaced the room surfaces were REALLY clean.I wouldn't classify this as a complaint but it was basically impossible to get the shampoo and conditioner to dispense from the bottles and the lids just twisted and wouldn't pop off. Bring your strength if you're going to wash your hair.I appreciated the very reasonable rate!

We love supporting small businesses. We've stayed here a bunch and we will continue to make this our first choice. Super nice and responsive owners/staff.Pros: cleanliness, shower pressure is the best! Great value, mini fridge/keurig/micro in each room.Wish list: king beds, better lighting, bath exhaust fan, screened windows that openNearby activities: Right across the street from The Library, the best coffee/breakfast place in town. Very close to Voyageurs National Park.

This motel is very well maintained. It appears to be an old building but you wouldn’t know by how well it is kept. Check in/out process is super easy. Price is hard to beat as well.My only wish is that it had like a toaster or pizza oven in the commons area for people to use. Would stay there again if I’m staying in I-Falls.

Beds uncomfortable, cheap renovations and 2nd floor walkway makes the whole room shake when a person walks by. Blinking light couldn't be turned off as they stated it was a safety feature. Clearly states not a safety device. Tub spout wasn't even mounted to the wall with their shotty plumbing job.Housekeeping couldn't even pull up the sheet on the bed.

Fabulous motel all the way around! SO clean and modern and classy. Love the exterior of the building, it's impeccable. The flowers and the furniture and the paint, all lovely. The contact less check in and check out is very nice, cute little lobby to get your key from and easy to follow instructions. The room was SUPER clean and very cool. Love the design and the colors and the modern touches. The beds felt hard at first just sitting on them but they were so comfortable to sleep on. The sheets and the towels are very soft as well. Nice lighting and free wi-fi, coffee and bathroom amenities as well. My only issue was it was pretty humid in the room, felt a little sticky at times. But the heater worked great and the blackout curtains were awesome. Minimal noise. Would for sure stay again here! The price is good too.

Wonderful little motel in International Falls, MN. I booked it through Expedia and it was very affordable. It's also pretty easy to get to as it lies at the far end of a main street in town. The only reason I didn't give five stars for the service is that I never actually interacted with anyone who works there. I arrived late in the evening and everything, including the pickup of the room key, was automated. That being said, it was an easy, hassle-free experience. Highly recommended if you're planning on going to that area to visit Voyageurs National Park or pop over into Ontario.

I’m traveling around Minnesota and needed an affordable but nice hotel to stay in last night. I drove a couple hours out of my way to stay here and I’m so glad I did! I wasn’t sure about driving all the way to the Canadian border for a room but it was totally worth it. This place was so cute and I loved the whole set up. Kudos to the interior designer. The key dispenser is a great idea too! I wish I had this motel closer to home!

What a cute hidden gem. From booking my stay to checking in, I've been pleasantly surprised. This is a contactless motel, but there was still a ton of communication, which was very appreciated. The beds and linens were so comfortable. All the other little details were so nice; black washcloth for makeup, small windows that opened to let fresh air in, and so on. Even with other people staying, it was quiet and it's not too far from the little downtown area. Would definitely stay here again!

If you enjoy extremely soft beds, this is the place for you. Contactless check in with an alarm blaring in the lobby. If you are an international traveler, you will likely encounter difficulties checking in as they text all the information to your country if origin cell phone. I’m not sure how the other recent reviewer determined that the complimentary shampoo/conditioner and lotion were high quality. They use a product with packaging so poorly designed that you cannot get any out. Expect to have to get out of the shower to dig through your suitcase for an alternative. Carpet in rooms is tacky. Bathroom door CANNOT PHYSICALLY CLOSE.New update: Housekeeping came after our first night and the apparently ONLY emptied the trash can and for some reason, threw away our only hand soap bar so now we only have the option to wash our hands with water and no soap. Bathroom door still permanently unable to close.

The check in process was very simple and contact less. I made my reservation the day of and was worried about the quality because of the low price point. I was pleasantly surprised by this cute motel. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I could tell it was recently and renovated and decorated. The staff was very accommodating and I would recommend this place to fellow travelers. I hope to stay here again in the future!

Doesn't look like much on the outside, but what a nice place to stay. Great location. Contactless check in was a breeze. Your door is unlocked, and the keys are hanging inside on the wall. Nice little extras around the room. For instance in the bathroom there was a black washcloth labeled makeup. Also a nice hair dryer, and a wonderful rain showerhead. Comfortable beds, a Keurig (with coffee} microwave, and small fridge made this such a comfortable place to stay. They were also very accommodating when we had to make adjustments to our reservation. Would highly recommend.Safety: We were two women traveling alone but felt very safe.Noteworthy details: In the backyard of the home behind the motel there were about 10 buckets with feed which brought in lots of deer to enjoy!

We came across this quaint little motel with ample parking and super spotless rooms. We have stayed here twice now, and both times had to have their booking agent Grace pull off some small miracles to extend our stay and book a second room for a friend. The staff go above and beyond for sure. The self check in is great and hassle free. The Keurig coffee machine is a win for me. Everything is new as it's not been open long but worth your consideration for sure. I know we will be back.

Nicely updated 2 story motel with a super simple check-in / out process. The room I stayed in already needs repairs but I still feel like the value is there. The room was clean, the sheets and pillow cases smelled clean. The air conditioner and heater worked well but we mostly ran the fan. The location is easy to find and we both felt safe during our stay.

This room was very clean, the carpet very soft & Clean!! The shower was really nice with the shelving in it & very nice water pressure with the very big shower head!! We wished there had been a dresser or shelf to put our stuff instead of living out of our suitcases & a few more hangers. The bed was very comfy & the towels were soft too! I also loved the bar soap they had, which usually I never use the soaps supplied!

Choose due to price and the fact it was a motor inn from the day. But upon entering it is very modern and fresh. I've stayed in other remodeled motor inns and they are dated and weary. NOT THE CASE HERE! Keep up the good work.Safety: We walked around the area. Small town feel.Food & drinks: There was a keurig, micro wave and mini fridge. We had to do laundry ( local laundry mat, Falls Laundry, nice as well)so missed a few resturants. However there is a grocery right across the street and a breakfast/ lunch place as well.Noteworthy details: Room was very tidy and clean. All the extras you need and a number to call if you need something more.Love the price. Will stay again and will recommend.

Totally exceeded my expectations. The rooms are very modern, clean, no odors, and surprisingly quiet!The entire property has been completely renovated in 2020 so I didn't hear any neighbors or traffic outside. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linens. Pod based coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator in the standard room!I typically only stay at luxury chain properties so this was taking a risk, but I would absolutely stay here again. Awesome!
