Both Dr. Zimples are great with all of our pets that we've brought to see them. They are more concerned with the animals well being than making big money. By far the lowest priced vet in the area while still getting top quality care. You may need to call more than once to get a response but I've found it's easier to stop in and talk to them.

Kurt & Justin are the Best Veterinarians! They take such loving care with our pets. My German Shepherd had her teeth cleaned & Kurt did such a nice job on her teeth! She has a beautiful smile now! 😊❤️

I had found a stray kitten (that needed immediate medical attention) and brought itin at first light Monday morning. I arrived before anyone else at the clinic. When Kurt arrived I went in and asked him if he could help the dying kitten and he said " I'm backed up 2 months I don't have time to help a cat" I said I have it in my car and Kurt said I don't have time leave your name and number. I said what am I supposed to do with the kitten? I'm not going to watch it suffer and he said it's not my problem I'm backed up 2 months. Kurt has always been a VERY decent and compassionate vet but I seen a different side to him this day and it was sad. Stray or not no animal deserves to suffer because of people not willing to help. I ended up taking the kitten to Askov where she was made comfortable to pass on. People please have your animals fixed if you can't care for the litters. Also it would be nice if you could reach someone by phone, the mailbox is always full and no one answers.

Kurt is basically the nicest human being around. He is very knowledgeable, fair, and to the point. He has helped me on numerous occasions with my animals, and unlike other reviews, he does call back. When you're fairly priced and receive great care, there will be a line. I've received calls back within 24 hours each time I've left a message. I would highly recommend this clinic for your furry friends. Thanks, Dr. Zimpel!

Dr. Zimpel (both Zimpel's) are great! Very reasonable pricing and great animal care. Have taken both my cats there in the past 10 years and highly recommend. May be hard to connect over the phone, but someone WILL call you back.

Visiting the area for a few weeks and my dog suddenly went limp/wouldn’t walk on her front leg over the course of 24 hours. This clinic fit us in last minute, listened to concerns, & gave me detailed instructions on meds/next steps until I can get her to our own vet back home. Very grateful and Highly recommend!!

Dr. ZIMPEL is very smart and kind. He's willing to spend time getting things right, and he's affordable. We took our pet to the off hours emergency vet in the cities and they suggested putting him to sleep. The next morning Dr. Z saved our Pug's life and in forever grateful. He changed the food and gave medicine and now our dog is fine. Thank you! Open mornings.

I've been with curt since Reagan was president. He's helped us through everything PET and even my cattle. From a raven a hunter shot to my beloved canines. The man is what you want in a vet. A true professional. Sorry curt, all I can give you is 5 stars

This is the best Veterinary Clinic in East Central Minnesota! Both veterinarians are kind and compassionate and care about you and your animals. It is a father-son team. They've always treated me my pets and everyone else I know with the upmost respect and decency. They are reasonable so you won't go broke bringing your animals to them. If you need a veterinarian in East Central Minnesota or in Pine County this is the place to go!

The vet is awesome IF you can get in. They never answer the phone and don't return messages. Turns what might be a 5 star into a 2. Shouldn't take 20 phone calls and stopping by their office multiple times to make an appt.

This Vet doesn't know how to treat their customers. They NEVER return calls. I have had to drive to their office several times to even get an appointment. They are a bit lower priced and close to my home so I use them. I recommend their care... if you can get a hold of them.

Only place I'll go to for large or small animals. This place is a Very well established clinic. Two hard working doctors who arevery honest & straight to the point with you. They both are VERY skilled with large and small animals. This establishment is very busy because of their amazing work.

When your vet sits down and sheds a tear with you because he had to put down your dog. That's the kind of vet I want. Hinckley Veterinary Clinic is hard to get ahold of on the phone. But to me they are worth stopping by.
