I generally enjoy the dollar general, it's a great place to pick up nessecities and an occasional gift. Recently they had al these signs on summer merchandise that said 90% off. I chose a few items as I thought it was a great deal for stocking stuffers. At the register when the price was more than expected lady told me it was buy one get one for 90% off and that the signs said that. I declined my sale purchases and went back to look at the signs. None of them said anywhere " buy one get on at 90% . The only sign present anywhere was 90% off. I politely suggested to the cashier they might want to update their signs. She was kinda impolite in her response. However not really her problems. They should not bait people with signs that ate not 100% transparent. In the past the sales signs have always been correct. It's annoying to spend the time picking out items and then the price not being as advertised.

Staff members were not friendly. Aisles not stocked. Not stocked items littered through the store. An employee had their child with them acting unprofessionally. Scolding her child publicly.

Des, the manager,went out of her way to arrange online purchase pickup. She , along with the other staff, was very friendly and nice. You can tell Des takes pride in her job by her attitude and disposition. Keep up the great work. It is hard to find anyone that is, exceptionally, helpful anymore in the retail industry. dp

Really surprised this place only has 4.1 stars. It’s very clean and organized. The staff is always helpful. Lisa (the manager I think) is always very friendly, hustling from task to task and seems to have a good rapport with both staff and customers. Keep up the great work!

Well this was my fourth visit there and I only went to that store for the particular items on sale....well.....not a single coupon worked they need to fix the problem...I will not be going back...I myself would stay away unless you need something in a pinch but there is a family dollar down the block
