Their produce is consistently terrible. You have to be lucky to find something that isn't on the verge of being rotten, if not already rotten. The prices are ridiculously high. Staff is rude and condescending to people of color.

HUGE shoutout to the Bakery team at Daggetts! My wedding was in Hinckley last year and there was a big mixup with the company providing our cupcakes. Daggetts saved the day and was able to make almost 200 cupcakes for us within just a couple hours time frame. THANK YOU!!!

This is my local grocery. I don't often give 5 stars but I stand by this one. I have never seen Daggetts look messy or unconcerned. The store is well-maintained. The employees are attentive and kind. The quality of produce and meat are excellent. This is a grocery store that cares.

Place is clean and organized, people friendly. Prices are ridiculously high. The low rating is because there was hair in the fried chicken. Hair. So 13 bucks wasted, and I'm concerned about the other deli items I purchased. Unhappy.

A hidden gem. I have my choice of 3 grocery stores where I live, the biggest local brand is about 12 miles, another local brand is 14, and Daggets is about 18. Anytime i am buying meat, or want really good produce, or bakery locally, I drive the extra distance to Daggets, and still save money in the meat department. I like the small town small store with packed shelves. Cashiers are always down to earth and friendly, not overly friendly and fake. Always a pleasure to shop here.

Every Christmas we bring lunch to various customers of ours. This year we purchased gourmet sandwich platters from Daggetts for the first time. Several of our customers commented on how this year our sandwiches were nicer than in previous years (we got them somewhere else before). Daggets did a wonderful job and made us look very good to our customers.Love this store!!

I've never really had a "great experience" here. Cashiers typically don't say anything besides "want your receipt?". Ive had one good cashier that was funny and sweet but thats about it.The store itself is clean and organized but the customer service... needs help.

Nostalgia....reminded me of when I use to be a bag boy as a child. Small local business needs our support. Please stop leaving 2-3 stars for higher prices... they are small they don't get the mass discounts the big stores get.... this is why our local small family businesses are closing. The super stores are pushing them out... this is a sad reality. Thank you for my experience at your great store wish I could be back.

Daggetts Fresh Foods is a great place to shop especially for those just passing through on their way up north! They carry a wide variety of handmade brats, but her cut meats and a full service deli among all of the normal items you would expect a store to carry. The meat prices and quality are especially good!

Horrible customer service! First and last time EVER going to this store today!My mother has severe anxiety and has a senior service dog, who goes everywhere with her and will usually ride on the bottom of the shopping cart. We've NEVER had a problem anywhere doing this, every store we have ever gone to, the mangers and employees welcome her with no issues. Today, our first time at Daggetts, we came into the store and the woman who was up in the office area, came running down and scolded my mother, in front of multiple people about her service animal riding on the bottom of the cart. Her reason was that "she wouldn't want to put groceries in a cart where a dog was" and that "if she's a service animal, she should walk".So apparently it is acceptable to embarrass and demean an elderly woman in front of others because of the employees opinion.I'm pretty sure that during this time we're living in right now, all stores are supposed to be cleaning and sanitizing the carts after customers anyway, so Daggetts must not be doing that.Way to go Daggetts! Wonderful way to treat a first time customer!And it's not the first time they've discriminated against someone with a service animal.

I wanted to write a personal review along with my 5 Stars I give daggetts fresh foods.. I stop in when I am in Hinckley and the only place I buy most of my meat's.. the store is always clean and the employees super friendly.. I have never bought bad meat from there meat market.. it's always cut fresh and ready to cook.. it's super delicious and always tender to taste when I cook it.. today I purchased fresh asparagus that was on sale and it was soooo delicious it just melted in our mouths.. with that being said there produçe is always of fresh quality as well as there meat's..of course it's a small town grocery store but definitely has everything you need to comfortably feed your family.. I have been going to daggetts for year's now and everything only gets better each time..there deli has delicious fried chicken among many other favorites..of course for us seniors they honor us every Wednesday with a store discount.. I will always be back with a smile on my face..Thank you Daggetts!!!!

The manager who has been there for a long time is burned out and should retire. He discriminates against people of color and those who use SNAP benefits. Sadly it is going to cost the store owners a lot more money in a damaging lawsuit than to just pay unemployment to the man. He should step down as the lawsuit ensues.

Extemely expensive but sweet and kind employees. We paid $7.79 for a quart of whipping cream. Even the cashier was shocked at that price. However, the store was neat, tidy and everyone was friendly.

The quality of the meat is number one. We shop here regularly because great quality of meat, there stuff pork is the best as well as the bratwurst with pepper jack cheese. Friendly service here too.
