Purchased a quarter beef 2 year ago from Smude Farms and it was processed by RJ's Meats. RJ did a great job with the processing and packaging. They wrap in butcher paper. Cuts were done as requested. They also helped me load into my truck.(For comparison - I bought a quarter beef from another farmer this last year that was closer to home for me and processed by a different place. It was not as good beef and the processing was not as good, not cut as requested. They also vacuum seal meat, but done poorly and most of the packages lost the seal.)I will be going back to RJ's and Smude Farms this year.Thank you!

Absolutely love what they did with the meat we brought in for processing.We brought in 2 pigs and 2 sheepSmoking was on point and not over done.Snack sticks taste amazing and so do the sausages.Seasoning was perfect.We will for sure be returning customers

I own a cabin at a nearby lake, and it seems I've been shopping at Lakes Meat Market forever (at least every summer!!). I like to shop in the area whenever I'm there, so I can support the local merchants. But, Lakes Meats has been a happy find that would rival any of those high priced meat markets you would find in the 'Cities'!The high quality of their cuts of beef (Unbelievably Tender sirloins, Oh my!!) in conjunction with great personal service (Oh, did I say great again!) and excellent (or should I just say 'Great' again?) pricing makes me wish they had locations back home too. They also make their own sausage and their homemade beef sticks are "to die for"!!Also, for any deer hunters, Lakes Meats will happily process your venison. My hunting friends can't say enough 'great' things about the wonderful job they do. (Make sure that they make some venison sausage, as well as some venison sticks for you...they could be as good as the beef sticks.).When the cabin season ends, I make sure to buy enough meat and beef sticks to last me through the winter...but it never does. So, I happily take the long, but scenic, drive back to restock. I'm very glad to be able to share this wonderful find with all. Enjoy!

Got a half hog a few weeks ago that was processed by them. Everything was well labeled, looks, and tastes great! I'm rendering down some lard and was extremely delighted to see that they had already ground it up for me, thank you!!!

Great meat market. Really good products, love there bacon, comparable to Thielens (they make their own) Nice grocery store too. I bought some unique canned goods there. (At least I couldn't find them in St.Cloud anywhere) But when I went back there they no longer had them either, after several return trips I finally asked the cashier about it. It probably would have helped if I could have told her exactly what I was looking for but I still can't remember the name on the jar. Imagine my suprise when on my next trip there a week later they had the stuff on the shelf. Most big supper markets would not even have taken the time to listen to me. What a great place!

Best hotdogs ever. The bacon is second to none. The jerky is amazing. I can't find better meat sticks. RJ's is definitely worth a trip.

I bought some Beef Jerky and Beef Sticks Yesterday... (oh and hot-dogs). Had a campfire last night and the hotdogs are absolutely the best! The Beef Sticks; excellent also and the Jerky the best ever..
