I love this store!!! Staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. They have everything we need to keep our dogs, cat, fish and gecko happy and healthy! They don’t make places like Fluegel’s anymore. It’s like a step back in time in terms of having everything you need, a down-home feel, and great customer service that is harder and harder to find these days. And yet, they have the latest and greatest products as well. Fluegel’s is not near where I live or work but worth going out of the way!

Favorite place for my wild bird supplies. Very good prices and a wide selection of seed, feeders, and birdhouses. Wide selection of pet supplies for dogs, cats, and other critters. Small live animals (parakeets, hamsters).

Nice little place to get a small pet from. Staff is friendly and helpful amd make sure to say hi to Oscar the black kitty when you visit. I've purchased a few different hamsters from here and they all lived long happy lives.

This is an amazing store with wonderful staff. I manage a group home for special needs adults. Today I brought in a client who was on a fairly tight budget. The staff were incredibly helpful in assisting us in building a low cost terrarium that exceeded all his needs. I would highly recommend using this company for any future business. They are extremely knowledgeable and friendly and really strive to make your shopping experience enjoyable. Costumer service is great!! Thanks Fluegel's!!! He loves the his tank!!

Stopped in to buy dog food, the staff was friendly and super helpful in assisting me with picking the right food for my dogs. They have a program where you buy so many bags and then get one free. Good selection of dog chews and toys, picked up all the dogs Christmas presents. We've made Fluegel's our go to pet supply store. Found out we can order chicks in the spring, can't wait!

Small town farm animal and pet supplies. They have all of the food and supplies for feeding wild birds as well. Prices might be a little higher than at large retailers but shopping small local businesses does great things for your community! Staff is very kind and chatty when they are not too busy. Dogs and cats welcomed.Beautiful lawn decorations inside. Outside, tall and unusual lawn art is offered for sale by a local artist.

Wonderful store! We have been shopping there for years. Bobby even helped my son purchase his first Hamster. Very knowledgeable staff and they have food for Dogs, Cats, Horses, Goats and Birds +. Great to have a one stop shop for everybody's food and treats.

Went to the Hastings location and brought my small children in to look at animals. When looking at the mice we noticed two eating something. Turns out 2 mice were eating babies. Half eaten babies were all over the tank. After mentioning it to a staff member, she claimed "there was an incident today". I let her know they were still eating them and about the dead ones and she just said they "were aware". So terrible!

I picked up some neon tetras and a couple guppies. I got home and started acclimating the fish, as I was doing that I noticed that one of the guppies tails was almost completely torn off!! I released the fish only for the guppy with the missing tail to die that very night!! I put it in a ziplock bag with the intention of returning it. When I woke up the next morning 4 of the 8 neon tetras that I had bought were dead, while one of the other guppies seemed to be struggling. After a couple hours the guppy had passed away!!! I put them all in a ziplock bag and was planning to return them the following day. At about 5 o’clock the next day, I called them to ask them what their policy was on returning dead fish, she said they need the receipt and the body, and that it has to be within 48 hours of purchase!!!! I then checked the websites hours only to find that they were going to be closing in 20 minutes!!! I could not have been their in 20 minutes!! So I ended up waisting 20 dollars on fish!!! And it’s not the water because the other four tetras are doing great!!! It’s now a week later, the four tetras are great!! Along with some fish that I got yesterday at Petco!!! Would not recommend!!!

I stop in at Fridgel's in Hastings often. My wife and I are bird lovers and we get our bird seed there. They always have a good selection at a reasonable price. And the staff is always helpfull and friendly.
