Estelle's was an unexpected gem! I was traveling through the area with my two dogs and looking for a pet friendly place to grab something good to eat. I loved the outdoor seating area. Bonus was live music! The Gabby burger was one of the best burgers I've had. I'll definitely be stopping again if I'm in the area.Kid-friendliness: Very relaxed area that was child and pet friendly.

Great place to eat and entertain friends! It's become one of our favorites to take out of town guests to (and we are 50 miles away.) The food is always great and plentiful portions. With the expanded outdoor seating is even better! We enjoyed live music (the owner/ chef) even played a couple songs.) We've tried most of the sandwiches, the bowls and a couple of the salads. We never leave without ordering the Pork Nuggets (no questions, just order them! ) and we TRY to save room for dessert as the chocolate bread pudding is amazing (like everything else has been! ) We also have gotten great service every time we've visited. Truly near the very top of our list when we are going out! Keep up the great work!

The 22 mile bike trip from Lanesboro to Harmony is definitely the bike path less traveled. But we started out with Estelle’s in mind - definitely makes the trip worth it. Order at the counter knowing your table number and the service is fast and efficient. The pork bites are a must - either to share or as a meal in of themselves. The variety of bowls is surprisingly diverse. And of course - great burgers. No refills on soda, but plenty of free ice water available.

Amazing food, though the dessert was not nearly as good as the main courses (we had chocolate Bundt cake and it was dry and grainy). We ordered the steak rare and it was cooked medium rare, so that could be improved in the future. It was still delicious though!! Absolutely LOVED the shrimp scampi pasta!!Laid back atmosphere but fine dining quality food with decent portion sizes. Very good service; you order at the counter and they deliver food to you and bus the table occasionally. Good enough for us! Decent drink options also!

I would highly recommend Estelle’s! The owner and staff are so friendly, motivated, generous, and outgoing. They go above and beyond to ensure your experience is top notch. The drinks, food, and service made the entire experience one to remember. We had a group dinner for my bachelorette party and their outstanding performance was a conversation topic the entire night! Estelle’s is absolutely AMAZING!

Great food, outdoor covered dining option, awesome stop. We had the shrimp southwest rice bowl, chicken southwest rice bowl and salmon cakes. Everything was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Ambience, music, menu, draft beer selection, craft cocktails, farm to table, so many reasons to like this spot. We sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed the busy, efficient Alaina bartender! She recommends the teriyaki rice bowls. We loved the southwest chicken rice bowl. The butternut squash soup was devine! The presentation I've never seen before! We can't wait to come back for the Mexican elote salad.

I enjoyed eating lunch at Estelle's this past weekend! We at on the outdoor patio and ordered the Frenchy French burger and the Gabby burger. While the Gabby was interesting, it had a lot going on. We split the burgers and I don't think I would have been able to finish a whole one. The Frenchy French burger was amazing however. Great flavor and the horseradish sauce on the side complemented it perfectly.The potato chips felt a bit "wet" and the fries weren't hot when we got them but it also could be due to the fans that were blowing a bit too hard for the temperature outside.Other than that, it was a great experience and I will definitely return!

Driving from IA back to Minneapolis and found this gem. Ordered the Gabby burger and their Butternut Squash soup.That soup is AMAZING! The bowl come out with all the toppings inside (I think there was bacon, candied walnuts, a few other items including a piece of cotton candy. Say what???) The soup is then poured into the bowl so the toppings are fresh. This was damn good.The Gabby burger was also very good, although my burger was more medium rare/rare than the medium I ordered. Not a big deal to me. Still had great taste and flavor.I don’t expect to be in southeast MN too often but this place is now a go to if I am.

An amazing must eat restaurant! My family and I willingly drive 60 miles just to eat at Astelle's. If you go you must get the pork nuggets. The beef stroganoff is delicious and has homemade noodles. The chocolate bread pudding ends the evening amazingly. You won't leave hungry or disappointed. Also the staff here is always friendly and delivers great service. If you're still reading this you must go! Stop everything you're doing and go get some pork nuggets.

We live in nearby Lanesboro, MN and brought our parents to eat here for the first time by recommendation. Absolutely loved it, the food was incredible, they had a great drink selection and the staff were all really great. We even got a special treat from the head chef when he tested out a jingle he has been working on for the restaurant to put out a radio ad. Gotta swing by Estelle's in Harmony when in SE Minn.

I have wanted to try Estelle's for a long time, so a couple friends and I finally made the roadtrip from Decorah and we are so glad we did! We shared pork nuggets and shrimp lettuce wraps which were both excellent! The goat cheese jammer burger was great too. The highlight for me was the dessert - dark chocolate bread pudding with ice cream. Best I ever had!

The pork nuggets alone were pure magic and they made the uphill bike ride from Lanesboro 100% worth it! The other food we ate was delicious and I do recommend (we had a rice bowl apiece). However, you need eat at Estelle’s today, order the pork nuggets, and thank me later. Sadly, I did not get a picture of these totally awesome pork nuggets. We were too busy eating them!

I have family nearby in Caledonia, so I go at least once a quarter since the first week they opened and has never failed. The menu is ever changing but the favorites always stay (pork nuggets!). It would be hard to find the quality of food at the price points anywhere else in Minnesota. It has served as the anchor and igniter on the growth and evolution of Harmony too over the past 4 years.

Hand cut fries. House made chips. Unique burgers with quality cheese. Lick the bowl clean lemon pound cake, strawberry and meringue dessert. Ordering dessert of the day is the way to go (discount made it worth ordering two!). We will for sure be back!

Fun place to eat in Harmony. The staff is friendly and efficient and looked like they were having fun while serving us well. Good food. I tried their signature appetizer, Pork Nuggets. They were fantastic! lightly breaded, deep fried pork, served with a Terriyaki sauce. So good! I can see why they are known for them. I'd order them again!

The food was amazing! My friend had a Rooster's Black & Blu burger and nachos, also excellent, but the shrimp tacos I had? Totally off the charts, adding it to my list of favorites! And to make things even better, I noticed they have 1919 Root Beer on tap...I had already ordered a cocktail (also really tasty!), or I'd have had an icy mug of that too! This place really is a hidden gem of fine dining in the fantastic community of Harmony. Definitely worth the drive, no matter where you're starting out from!

The food was incredible. They had a special of brisket the night my wife and I went and it was just so darn good. The chef was in the back singing and you could tell he had passion. My wife got the Frenchy French which was also delicious. My one complaint was there service. Our server came back to check on us once and it took us 20 minutes to get our check once we requested it. They were super busy so I understand it gets tough to hold the fort down, but my wife and I definitely weren't happy with the service. The food is absolutely worth it though.

This place is very popular, and I had quite possibly the best tasting burger I've ever had! Their seasoned patty made my Cowboy Bacon Burger amazing. Donna had the Turkey Bacon Avacado sandwich, which was also delicious.

We stumbled upon this place for lunch while shopping in downtown Harmony. The interior and bar area are beautiful, and the place looked promising…until we heard one of the cooks from the open kitchen bellowing the lyrics to “Under My Thumb,” which was playing over the loudspeaker. Ok, maybe the guy is just really into The Rolling Stones or misogynistic songs, I remember thinking at the time. We order burgers and beer at the walk-up counter and sat back down to enjoy our beverages while waiting for our food, but the bellowing continued. Seriously, the guy was so loud we could not carry on a conversation at our table. We asked if we could move to the back area of the restaurant, which appeared to be closed, and were told by the bartender that that was fine. Our food arrived quickly. Both burgers were severely undercooked. My wife ordered a medium burger that was medium rare at best. My medium rare burger was raw in the middle. Having already paid when we ordered and not wanting to deal with talking over the singer-cook, we split my wife’s burger and left mine. If the cook spent more time concentrating on cooking the food rather than singing at the top of his lungs, we would all be better served.

After biking the Root River trail today We enjoyed a beverage and our meal at this wonderful find in the tiny village of Harmony. Attentive but not pushy wait staff, food was served super fast. Prices were reasonable for the quality and atmosphere. They even offered live old time performers on a wednesday evening in the large open air garden. We will return.

My husband and I spent a weekend in Lanesboro, MN, biking with friends. The 4 of us decided to go to Estelle's for dinner one evening. We hadn't been there since before Covid, but remembered it as a wonderful restaurant to have a great meal with friends. When we arrived, we saw there was (loud) live music on the patio, so we chose to eat inside. The minute we walked in the door, we were hit with a room full of singing staff. The staff behind the bar was singing to a TV. Was this Karaoke Night? The cooks in the kitchen were singing from another source. By the time we were placing our orders at the bar, the cooks were singing full voice and pounding loudly on the stove vent. Where was the adult supervision? They did quiet down upon our request, but seemed amazed we would complain. The food was fair to good, the wait staff was efficient, but the atmosphere completely ruined our meal. We will not return under present management.

Had an evening meal with friends. We tried the Rice bowls, one with shrimp & one with chicken. It had a significant teriyaki flavor, plenty of shrimp & rice, and zucchini & mushrooms. I liked it a lot and had a glass of Chardonnay nwine with it. (The menu on line says they have Vinho Verde & it is no longer offered.) Service was efficient and friendly.
