Bar food, but it's VERY good bar food! I got the crispy chicken sandwich, and it was fantastic. Great atmosphere; it's huge inside! It was not busy at all when we were there, but it still took a very long time to get our food.

Friendliest restaurant and bar, run by a mother and daughter team.Excellent food. So nice to find a salad bar. Prime rib sandwich was beyond good.So happy to find this place that is just a few mile north of Luverne. Best place in the area.I can’t wait to come this way again.

The food is amazing, as I have heard so many times from others before trying it myself. My folks loved their steaks, which they said were better than the ones in steakhouses. The fried chicken was excellent. Good beer, too. ;)

The Prime Rib was the ultimate! Amazing!! The hash browns, absolutely the best! But the salad bar, all home made salads were totally fabulous. I was so surprised to find such a classy atmosphere in a small town setting. The service was terrific! I will most certainly go back every time I am in that area!!

Waited an hour and a half for food, had to ask for every drink. 2 tables full when we came in and bartending staff literally had no knowledge of what was needed, kept their backs to the bar. Don't mind waiting for food if it's busy and service is good. Waited over 5 minutes for service at all and after I asked for a beer and menu found out the person who helped us wasn't even an employee, just doing something in the pull tabs. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because my fries were hot and fresh.

The Green lantern is one of the best restaurant bar/convenience stores I have ever been to it is so warm and inviting clean atmosphere with impeccable bartenders and service they completely go out of their way to do whatever they can to make their guests happy the food is fantastic the service is fantastic the drinks are fantastic I suggest next time you guys want to go out somewhere fun and you hit up the Green lantern halla
