I have tried to put up with the nasty customer stome service for three years. You can spend thousands there and they don’t know you. You return a$2.99 article and it’s a big deal if you don’t have a receipt. Today I forgot my wallet and asked to leave two options tanks to be filled and then pick them up later.they said we won’t fill them until you pay. Send the employees and owner to-charm school and maybe I’ll come back

I am responding to Mike Riley’s review:I am sorry for you experience. I have been working at that store for 17 years now and we try very hard to meet everyone’s needs. We have been requiring receipts on returns due to the fact that there has been many instances of people trying to return things that have been purchased at other stores. IE: Home Depot, Menard,s, Ace, Etc. As for the propane issue, we have also have had problems with people dropping off tanks to be filled, will be back to pick up and pay. And they pick up there tanks and don’t pay for them. When a few people start taking advantage of us then we must put these policies in place. I am sorry that you had that experience and it saddens me that a few bad apples have to screw it up for everyone else.

We purchased special order doors and other items for our cabin here. The prices were better than what we could find online or in larger lumber yards. Swede and his crew are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This is a great one-stop shop for being in a small market.

Normally an awesome store with wonderful customer service but today the manager was very inconsiderate for the small community they are in and was over the top in communication rather than offering solutions. So disappointed in the way she handled a simple situation.

I don’t know how many trips to Baxter I’ve saved over the years by having this great store be near me. They literally have anything I need in the way of lumber, plumbing, electrical, painting, etc. that I use and Ross can find them all!

It has been a wonderful hardware store for the 18 years that I've been going there for misellaneous supplies for anything from kitchen, lumber, fertilizer, electrical, bird feeders and seed, I could go on and on about their available products. Service is also very good.
