Dr. Mattson was the only vet in a 100 mile radius that answered my call at 12AM. Thanks to him, my cat has healed well. Called him the first night concerning a UTI, he told me to bring him in 7AM the next morning. After the visit by that night, my cat had unfortunately blocked up, and he once again took my call, and let me bring him in late in the night. Hospitalized for 3 days and the care/communication was amazing! He was also very understanding about my financial issues, and has worked with me on payments. I’ve heard a lot of people don’t like him due to being “old school”, but he will take care of your animal regardless! Amazing vet, and will be going to him from now on!

Worst vet I've ever been to. Never introduced himself, just straight with the exam. Then barked at me to carry my dog to xray room (he wouldn't give me enough room to put him down). After finding out my dog was in heart failure, he just tried prescribing some meds without explanation. In my honest opinion, he doesn't care about you or your pet. STAY AWAY!

I would Never recommend this vet to anyone. He did not give my loving dog any anesthesia b4 injecting her with a shot that was very painful. He said it would ‘sting’. It hurt her so much she yelped loudly and cried. He didn’t say anything. I regret going to this vet and would never recommend him to anyone ever.

Even tho I arrived 10 minutes late they were very understanding. My Dog Annie got great care and I got to come in and see her xrays in detail and that was good for me to understand her hip fracture.

Dr. Mattson and his staff have always been reliable and responsive to my animal's needs, even when it has been short notice. He has done surgery on our kitty, and taken good care of my horses for 4 years now.Not sure I know of any other veterinarians in this area who would respond to a client's call at 10:30 PM for our beloved sick pony but Dr. Mattson did himself, and he and his staff have often made accommodations around my work schedule to make needed meds available for after hours pickup. Old school vet with small town values, highly recommend!

Very helpful and kind employees. Dr. Mattson seems rather knowledgeable when it comes to animals. Been going to him for awhile now and he hasn't diagnosed any of our pets incorrectly. With Covid19, they are allowing only one customer at a time.I highly recommend this clinic.
