Joel is one of the nicest people I know. I stopped in his office once a smile and a great service. He is very easy to work with and very down-to-earth. He doesn't just have customers, he has friends. He has a great selection of guitars, ukuleles, amps, anything for your string instrument needs. He not only fixes guitars he also has worked on my violin, and a very ancient Lebanese instrument. There always something new going on there.

Staff was very friendly and helped me find what I was looking for quickly and at a very reasonable price. Entry way is a bit smaller than expected just as a heads up. Otherwise seemed very knowledgeable and willing to help. Seemed to have a pretty decent selection of equipment for players and had a lot of items on hand to demonstrate them too. Would recommend for people in the area looking for equipment. I did not use any of the lessons or other services however.

I stopped by to check out the store and had a great conversation with Joel. He's very friendly and knowledgeable, and the customer service was outstanding. He also has a pretty nice selection of various used instruments. I'd recommend stopping there to have him take a look at whatever is ailing your gear. Again, the customer service is top-notch. I will be recommending this place to all my local gearhead friends.

Two shops in one right off hwy 65 so not only is this Joel's guitar shop but also Maddy's boutique you can find anything from guitars of all types and makes, ukes, bass guitars, electric guitars, pretty sure I seen a cello, and amps, and guitar accessories but also clothing in the boutique, and I think I seen homemade natural skin products but I may be wrong, I myself am a guitar gal so I kinda had my eyes on them lol. Cute store pets as well, Joel was very friendly, knowledgeable, and kind. I recommend this place if your looking for a new/ used guitar. I'm also pretty sure he repairs them, or at least it looked that way :) thank you Joel

I bought my first ukulele from Joel forever ago, still love it and play it all the time. Since then I’ve bought another ukulele from him, a guitar, and had him repair two guitars for me. He genuinely cares about his customers, and I plan to continue going to him for all my stringed needs! :)

My daughter Morgan and I have stopped in on a few occasions to fix a few strings on Morgans acoustic guitar he has always been so friendly and efficient with getting it done. Also my daughter loves to just check out the inventory once in awhile and he never pressures to buy. And we also think Pirate Pete is pretty neat too!

Joel, the owner of the shop, sat with my guitar in their shop for over a MONTH waiting to have a Floyd Rose Tremolo fixed and adjusted/set up. After telling me it would be about a week - week and a half turn around. I decided to pull my guitar from his shop, after multiple phone calls and over a month of waiting and bring it to Music Connection in Forest Lake where the gentleman there had my guitar fixed and ready to go out the door in 24 hours?Also, when confronted with this piece of information on a local community page, he likes to come back and call people (Me specifically) a "Biotch" (Photo included)

There is NOTHING like finding a guy like this out in the sticks. He has reworked 1957 Japanese dread and my 1999 Millennium Edition... both were like they were new again.And he's great with lessons for kids!

This is a newer business in our area and I wanted to see what they sell. There is a clothing boutique also inside and they have a lovely atmosphere although prices are spendy.
