They have been our vet for many many years. They were so compassionate helping us usher our beloved pets to the rainbow bridge. Our vet even came in late on Easter to help us with our 16 year old sweetheart who decided to take his well needed rest.Even our new puppy (who’s now 4) - and isn’t the easiest to handle - has enjoyed going to see his friends at North Country. Will forever be grateful for the amazing humans who work here.

I took my dog in for lameness in his back left leg. The vet was very prompt and extremely helpful. He should make a full recovery in a couple of weeks. Whenever I’m in town visiting family and have a vet issue, I always go here.

We have always been be very satisfied with the care and help we get when we have questions/concerns. During our visits our dogs are #1 to that vet helping us and them - you aren’t just a number but made to feel like you’re part of the family. Truthfully NCVC has been the best Veterinarian Clinic we have ever had for our fur babies.Savannah on the left in the picture and Micah is on the right.

For this being the first time here, the experience was good. The staff were nice and knew what they were doing. I will go back there again for follow up with my pet in a month, to bring his shots up to date.

Staff were exceptionally caring and accommodating! Our dog does not like other animals, but they have us let them know when we get there and they let us know when the lobby is empty to bring our dog back to a room. They make sure all our baby's needs are taken care of and care about any concerns or questions you may have. Took our dog's age, personality, etc into account with everything. We are very happy!!

I have brought all of my animals here for many years. I have always had a great experience here. My animals love the doctors and the techs. My animals are always very well cared for. When I have had to put my animals to sleep, they have been very caring, respectful, and made the difficult time a little easier. I can't say enough good things about them.

Dr. Smetty was wonderful at explaining the reasons for and results of the testing for our senior dogs. They have been with NCVC since we have had them. The other staff are great also! ♥️🐾🐾♥️

I was thankful they could get my dog in the same day I called. They were very caring and attentive to the situation. I was sent home with medication and a packet of information. I really liked that the payment was made in the examination room which made it quick and easy without dog drama in the waiting room.

They were ready for me when I arrived. Didn’t have to wait long for the veterinarian. Everyone was happy and professional!2nd visit for her spay went really well. They sent me home with very good instructions on how to take care of her after the surgery. Everyone was very helpful!

My dog chase had a cyst removed. He has a lot of anxiety being away from me so they allowed me to stay with him until it was time for his surgery and contacted me as soon as he was waking up to pick him up. Emma was very understanding and made chase very comfortable. Thank you to all the staff. They always taken excellent care of my baby.

My Goldendoodle has a UTI. It started last Saturday. This was her 2nd one. I called on Monday morning and we had to wait with her in pain and bleeding all over the house until Thursday when they could get her in. Now it will take up to a week on the meds until she stops bleeding. Poor girl and what a mess. The cost was another shocker. I've had all my animals there for the past 25 years and like the staff. We have been treated better.

Our Coonhound is very comfortable with all the staff and the facility.They won’t do any procedure without permission, they will sit and discuss your concerns, and the prices are reasonable.When we had to have our Bassett Hound put to sleep the staff was respectful and gave us all the time we needed.Later we even received a wonderful sympathy card from them, signed by all the staff.Thank you all for your dedicated care to animals.

I have been going here with every pet I have had my entire life (50+) I requested an appointment for a new dog after finally getting one after loosing my last best buddy. I was bluntly and rudely told that they weren't taking new clients as I had not been there in 3 years. This place went in the gutter after Dr. Howe retired! A bunch a self-important millennial wanna -bees now! They could beg me for my business now and I wouldn't go back.. NO way No how! I highly recommend you take shop elsewhere for vet services.

This is the only vet clinic in town that I will recommend. Due to Covid, the vet clinics in the area have no openings and are booked up for months! My dog suddenly became very ill (Lyme Disease) and no other clinic in town would even listen to me. North Country went above and beyond to get him seen on short notice when they were already booked up for the day! The entire staff was incredibly friendly & caring, very professional and they explained everything in detail. So grateful for this amazing and caring team--my dog is already feeling better!
