We always bring our dog in to have her nails trimmed and every time we bring her everyone is so nice and does a great job with little to none of a wait time. I was extremely disappointed that my dog was lethargic after her 1 night kennel stay. She vomited green and all her food and had the runs. After a few days of this I needed to take her for an expensive Vet visit for an exam and meds. Now a bland diet for a week and maybe a revisit if not better soon. Also disappointed when I called Bubbles and Bows to tell them and the message on my phone said that was “normal” after a kennel visit. I do not recommend Bubbles and Bows for kennel or grooming.

BEWARE and DO NOT kennel your dog at BUBBLES and BOWS!I waited a week to post this. One reason is that I did not want to post in spite, and did not want to wrongfully make an accusation. After 7 days of 'sitting on it,' I have decided to post in the hopes that other dog owners will not encounter the same fiasco that we recently did after putting our dog, Josie, in the kennels at Bubbles and Bows.Here are the order of events:Josie was kenneled with Bubbles and Bows on Thursday, 9/2 and picked up the following Sunday. My daughter picked her up around 12:30 that Sunday. My daughter went through the Caribou drive-thru before heading home and stated that she looked over and saw a spot of darker, dried blood on the area where Josie was sitting. She immediately came home to show me and I took pictures (see 1st and 2nd picture).My next action was to call the on-call vet to see if we needed to get her in that day for stitches. The on-call vet reviewed the 2 pictures that I sent her and indicated that SINCE THE WOUND APPEARED ABOUT 12 HOURS OLD, WE COULD WAIT UNTIL THE CLINIC OPENED MONDAY TO GET HER IN (indicating that any bacteria that was going to enter the wound would have likely done so already, and that if we could keep the wound clean and dry, it wouldn't hurt anything to wait until the morning. We scheduled for the next day.In the meantime, I had a conversation with Bubbles and Bows' owner. She was adamant that she did not observe any wounds on Josie and that she had personally played with her in the kennel that morning. In ongoing texts with her, she indicated that she had reviewed the kennels' cameras and that she did not see any footage that indicated any harm being done. In a nutshell, she did not believe that the vet could possibly be correct (regarding the timing of the wound) and stated that Josie must have been harmed in the vehicle riding home OR once she got out of the car to make her way inside the house. It was clear that no responsibility or attempt to 'meet half-way' was going to happen.The next day, we took Josie to the vet. The bill came to $527.49 (see pictures #4 and #5 for the sutures, and picture #3 for the vet's medical opinion). I went to make a Facebook review but noticed that these are turned off for Bubbles and Bows. My son and I then checked some Google reviews and read that in recent months, another dog came home with multiple cuts on it. The owner does respond to all negative reviews and in one instance, told the owner that he must be mistaken and that she had no record of having his dog at her kennel.I will probably never know what actually happened. I am certain that I will NOT be returning to Bubbles and Bows again - neither for kenneling NOR for grooming. I hadn't wanted to go to Bubbles and Bows in the first place as we have noticed that Josie tends to shake upon entering and appears somber when leaving. Her behavior has been completely opposite when attending the Itasca Dog Lodge where we observe her being happy to get there and happy upon our return. It says something that when I called last minute, Itasca Dog Lodge was already booked, but Bubbles and Bows had immediate openings.Take care of your pets!And have a great rest of your Labor Day weekend!

A fair bit more expensive than what was previously quoted (though it wasn't in-person when I asked, so there wasn't as much info for them to work with) and services rendered, but overall happy with how it went! She was so happy, looks so pretty, and smells great!

I have been repeatedly disappointed with this groomer. First you do not leave leashes on dogs when crating them post grooming. They will eat them. We had to take our dog out without a leash but don't worry they asked if we wanted to buy a new leash from them, and not at any sort of a discount or apology. I have seen the work they put out on dogs and I would never trust them with an animal I own ever again. The fans on the dogs look butchered and uneven and are missing chunks. Sore paws from poor nail trimming technique from the groomers. I would look elsewhere because while everyone says there is one groomer there that knows what they are doing the rest of the groomers leave everything to be desired.

The staff and facility are Amazing! Our Lassie dog came home soooo soft and fluffy, and her fur stayed super soft for weeks! They take such good care of our babies, that I didn't even have to worry about how they were doing while we are on vacation. I knew that they were happy, had access to food, water and the "facilities" when ever they wanted and I knew that they weren't bored because they got to go to Doggy Daycare during the day.

We have boarded our pup, attending many days of puppy daycare, and today Toni got our pup in for an urgent bath after a smelly skunk encounter. 75.00 dollars for a 8 pound dog, They keep raising the cost. Bubbles and Bows suck never taking ny pup there again. 20 years going there not any more. Bubbles and Bows will over charge you every month. Bubbles and Bows SUCK.

We recently moved to the area and needed to find a groomer for our four dogs, all rescues. Our dogs have personalities and need patience and specific care. The staff were so friendly and showed real care. They called and gave us updates and our dogs were very calm when we came to pick them up. Not to mention, the dogs were clean and their cuts were cute but practical to their needs. Bubbles and Bows is our new go to, I'm sure their kennel services and just as wonderful are their grooming.

Refused to groom my bunny any longer because I missed a few appointments due to personal issues. I always try to tip well and then was told that they no longer take bunnies. I feel bad for missing appointments but I don’t know what I’m supposed to do as I’m not sure that any other place in town takes bunnies. Not angry. Just don’t know what I’m going to do :(

They were the first place able to accommodate boarding a dog like mine. 180lbs and 36" at the hip, and they made sure he was as comfortable and accommodated as possible and were so sweet to him for his first time boarding anywhere. Meatloaf and I will definitely back for their grooming services and doggy daycare to see the kind people who work there.

Bubbles and Bows takes great care of my dog. I don’t feel guilty at all when I leave her there for a few days because I know she’s going to have tons of fun at doggy daycare and go back to her kennel totally exhausted each evening. They do a great job grooming, too. Worth every penny!

I love taking my 2 Standard Poodles to Bubbles and Bows and have been doing so for many years with 5 different pets! The groomers there are friendly and treat my furry pals with love. During check-in, we discuss the styles I’d like and any specific details I need addressed. I find the customer service is excellent and they go the extra mile. I highly recommend Bubbles and Bows.

I couldn't have been more happy with the service I received at Bubbles and Bows. I brought my miniature poodle mix, Bernie, to be groomed after having a bad experience with a groomer in Duluth. I was greeted warmly and it was clear that my pup would be taken care of while I was gone. When we returned, he looked absolutely adorable and was clearly very comfortable in the setting as he was calmly standing on the table as the groomer finished up the last touches by trimming around his facial area. He also received a free bowtie to complete the look. I highly recommend Bubbles and Bows, especially for poodle breeds! They clearly know what they are doing and run a professional operation. The prices are reasonable for the quality as well!
